2BDamned is probably the only one of the group that has actual cooking skill beyond Sanford’s “throws everything together in some unholy concoction”, Deimos’ “I survive off of pocket lint and pure sprite” and Hank’s “(literally eating dirt)” and he 100% is the cook who throws everyone out of the kitchen and demands absolute silence while he cooks and heaven help anyone that tries to sneak taste tests cuz he’ll probably (definitely) stab you

Picturing BF interacting with the Madcom universe will never not be hilarious cuz I’m sticking to my guns that Boyfriend can’t be killed unless it’s through a rap battle but even then he can just reset and absolutely no one would know what to think about it

BF is literally the undead monkey in Pirates of the Caribbean and Hank would probably continuously try to shoot him to no avail at any given moment with absolutely no hesitation

I’d like to think that since Hank can just consistently be revived after being killed by The Higher Powers, Doc would be the only one consistently brave enough to just cap him on sight just to get him to “Sit the fuck down for two seconds and actually follow the goddamn plan for once, you fucking moron-“ and is the only one who can get away with it cuz it’s Doc

Okay so Krinkles answering the question of whether or not Hank actually cares about Sanford and Deimos with (and I’m paraphrasing this mind you) “He only cares about them enough to keep them alive cuz they’re useful to him. They’re like really good tools. Sure, you could always get new ones, but these ones are nicer.” is kinda funny considering this man can singlehandedly throw hands with 99% of Nevada’s occupants on a daily basis.

I was gonna post this earlier but I accidentally discovered while going through a Christoff flashback that I could punch people with zero repercussions

So I spent those moments punching as many people as I could, and then found out that you can “kill” them when I accidentally beat this guy (not going to say who in case its spoilery) to death mid conversation

i totally did not throw hands with phobos during his monologue, i promise you

So, finished Project Nexus and I got some thoughts I want to get out, but I’m going to put it under a cut cuz obviously; HUGE SPOILER WARNINGS, please only proceed if you’ve finished the game or don’t plan on playing it for yourself

Okay so firstly, I’ve seen some people (at least in some video walkthroughs) complaining about Hank betraying Sanford and Deimos and being the final boss, and honestly, it’s not that much of a surprise to me and let me explain why.

From the beginning, we see Hank is 100% detached from San and Dei, you see it when the truck crashes and Hank completely disregards the fact that Deimos is seriously injured.

We know that once Hank is on a mission, that’s all he focuses on. Now, maybe we didn’t see him take his mission statement on such a literal, verbatim scale, but he does tunnel vision hard when it comes to “This is what needs to be done”.

Even before the betrayal, you see Hank start to hint on just how literal he’s taking the mission when Jebus brings up that they need to keep Project Nexus going to keep Nevada and the Other Place from blowing up like two shaken up soda cans. He doesn’t care, he just wants to finish the mission.

(I will say though, hearing Hank say that he was hoping Deimos and Sanford would stand in his way just so he could try to eliminate them was a little jarring but added to the moment)

I did like how they acknowledge the fact that even if Sanford and Deimos killed Hank, he’s just gonna come back later and probably be pissed as all hell about it.

Also???? Was totally not expecting to see these ‘Employers’, which, correct me if I’m wrong, are implied to be the Higher Power? But I definitely want to know more about these beings and what their purpose is.

I hope more gets added to the story cuz I really just want to see what Hank does after being killed after he’s out here boasting about how he killed a god and then got his ass solidly handed to him.

Maybe its just bad luck on my part, but sometimes playing Madness Project Nexus, there’s a decent chance that I or any enemy I’m beating into a corner will just launch themselves into the fucking stratosphere at any given moment.

You have no idea how startling it is to be beating a grunt to death only for them to yeet themselves out of Nevada like a goddamn bullet

not to mention i cant tell you how many times ive gotten myself stuck inside a box or a wall or something cuz i got stunlocked into it

Man, I take control of Hank for ONE SECOND and Jebus decided he could 1v1 a group of turrets and got absolutely demolished and got me killed cuz I couldn’t rez him and I got stuck in a group of enemies

Jebus, I expected this Rambo behavior from Hank, not you, you’re supposed to be the ‘Mature Savior’

I love how the fight with the Sherriff was so built up and then I ended up just pinning this man in a corner and beat the shit out of him like me and Sanford was a schoolyard bully

My man talked all this shit only for me to run after him like a feral raccoon, put him in a corner and kick his teeth in until he cried ‘Uncle’

Thank god for Project Nexus dropping tomorrow to finally inspire my fat ass to get up and stream for once after putting it off since July
