"Come on, He Tian," Mo said excitedly, taking his hand once more. "Let’s go to my room!"

Mo led him down a short hallway to a cozy room filled with drawings of sandwiches and cars on the walls. Clearly, Mo loves sandwiches, He Tian thought. The walls were adorned with pictures of baby Mo throughout the years, He Tian felt as if he was walking on someone's entire life in this place. A soft bed with warm blankets was tucked in the corner. Mo rummaged through a drawer and pulled out a set of pajamas. "Here, you can wear these," he said, handing the clothes to He Tian. "They might be a little big, but they’re warm."

He Tian took the clothes, feeling the softness of the fabric. It was more than just the clothes—it was the gesture. No one had ever cared enough to offer him something like this before while he passed by numerous people every day in the unforgiving snow. As he changed into the pajamas, the warmth of the fabric against his skin was comforting, a stark contrast to the cold that had gripped him earlier.

Mo, now dressed in his own pajamas, flopped onto the bed and patted the spot beside him. "Come on, it’s the warmest spot in the house!" he declared with a grin.

He Tian hesitated for just a moment before climbing into the bed beside Mo. The bed was soft, the blankets thick and heavy, wrapping around him like a protective cocoon. He Tian felt an overwhelming sense of safety, a feeling so foreign to him that he almost didn’t recognize it.

As Mo settled in beside him, the two boys lay quietly for a moment, the only sounds the crackling of the fireplace in the distance and their steady breathing. Mo’s presence, so close and so warm, made He Tian feel like, for the first time in a long time, everything might just be okay.

mo and tian are so devoted to eachother. while he tian is so open, carefree and protective about mo in whatever he does, mo isn't like that. he isn't the one running after he tian or publicly showcasing and initiating his affections but one thing is for sure, that man is devoted to him. his devotion and belief in he tian is silent yet, unwavering. it took him so much courage to finally do what his heart wants and kiss him, for the sole reason that he trusts and likes tian. for the very first time in his life, a person made mo believe that no matter what, he will always be by mo's side. he tian's strength and devotion to him are the sole two reasons why mo is attracted to him and why mo's entire belief system is relying on the fact that, in any case, he tian will never leave him.

because that man has showed mo that no matter the obstacles in the thorny and dangerous path he walks in, he has the strength to defeat anyone and everything to persevere towards the path which has mo and he tian walking together. at the end of the day, he will return and he will be back to his lovingly annoying ways and be devoted to mo.

mo and tian have the most unspoken love ever. they never say it but they are so sure of it, it's like an oath that has never been taken but they are both aware of it. they just want each other and they love hard. mo knows he tian is gonna disappear all the time but he will wait because he knows he will come back, and tian will always, always come back to him. because they live for each other, everything they do– they do it for their future. whenever they meet again, they are back to square one, back to where they started and love eachother all over again; by their actions, by their touches, by their laughter, by their tears and by their anger. they can never not feel for each other. because at the end of the day, they are eachother's home.

the new chapter broke me. finally some normalcy in our boys' lives. i never thought i would see the day again. i am so proud of mo especially before all this shit he made a promise to tian that he would work harder in school, and he has started– baby steps like saying hi to his classmates, waiting for he tian in school, initiating affection and accepting affection. it's all so new to him and he is clearly appreciating that and acknowledged it, it's amazing to see his character development. i can't wait to see his and he tian's development and how their relationship progresses ><

I am usually not one for love is the answer and love fixes everything. But Mo has really undergone such massive change since he started dating He Tian. He greeted girls from his class, he waits for He Tian simply because he wanted to and even praised He Tian for the breakfast by initiating gentle physical touch!! And I think it has a lot to do with him feeling at ease now, he was always tense and anxious about his situation at home, scared of She Li. That made him distrusting and harsh although he is actually a really nice and compassionate person. We only saw a glimpse of the kid he used to be before he got assaulted and She Li claimed ownership of his life.
