OK I GOT THIS DONE YESTERDAY BUT WANTED TO POST TODAY!

Anyway- didn’t render for simplicity purposes!

So I didn’t end up adding his accessories. It would’ve covered too much to add.

So- some design inspirations I had were the hippocampus, Cetus, bull, shark, and jellyfish! The jellyfish comes out in his hair as those lighter blue. Those indeed are tentacles that have a bit of a mind of their own. I decided that Cetus was another inspiration because I had the thought of having Kelpie in there for the sharp teeth, but it didn’t really set right. With Cetus’ sharp teeth and clawed fins, it made sense.

Note: Humanoid!‘Campuseidon has clawed hands. Because this is a chibi, I didn’t see it important to draw that. Doesn’t have webbing between the fingers though. In this form, he’s typically 16 feet tall, but the smallest he can shrink down to is 6’3”. (I know this’ll help the artists out there who need size comparisons like me.)

Anyway! Here’s ‘Campuseidon without the clothes!

I have reasons as to why I put the wording I did. Specifically looking at some of the more horny Poseidons when I say this.

Long story short, I have the nsfw art on my secondary (more explicitly NSFW) Bluesky account. If you find it, cool, but I’m not linking it as I have seen minors around my blog. I’ll update my intro to link to my more sfw blog.

Once I get the big 6 done, I’ll get into their lore and how their personalities correlate to their current ones and the traumas endured by their father.

I will note! ‘Campuseidon did try to overthrow Zeus at one point. He’s a very bitter and volatile Poseidon. He tends to flirt as a means to deflect. Though, he can flip a switch involuntarily and will either snap, or be giddy in a very cruel sense. Being the fourth born (not the fifth, will explain more in the big 6 master post), he holds a lot of emotions. Though, that’s all I can say without spoiling information.

Just know, any relationship he’s in, ‘Campuseidon is very dominant and protective (especially over his family.) Though, if one is willing to be as violent as the waves he commands, he may crack and allow himself to be taken care of

So- like- I’m looking at the interactions of Messy’s Poseidon and Cryptid’s Poseidon and my mind immediately thought, “Well- damn- gotta keep my monstrous forms away from Cryptid’s universe if gold/ichor is canonically Kronos’ eye color there…”

This is because, in my personal headcannon/lore, Primordials have ruby red blood, titans have an amber orange or a fiery orange blood, and the gods have ichor/gold blood. (I haven’t thought about daemons/personifications yet, but assume that they have the same ichor/gold color, but a slightly brighter hue.) This reflects into their eyes when they’re in their monstrous forms. What they consider their “True Form” as gods.

At least I have a concept done for a less traumatizing appearance to those in both the Poseidonverse and Zeusverse. I actually just finished my Poseidon’s humanoid form chib (lovingly calling him ‘Campuseidon because his monstrous form is literally a very stylized hippocampus mashup.)

I genuinely wanna interact but I’m fucking nervous ‘cause everyone’s art is so damn good. Like- fucking hell everyone is so talented-

Campuseidon Update!

Note: Ken doll anatomy for later reference for clothing. There is no NSFW here!

Anyway, with that out of the way: here’s ‘Campuseidon in his humanoid form! Super messy sketch because I wanted an idea from my description on Poseidon’s humanoid form I typed out.

Something to note with ‘Campuseidon is that he has several spots along his body. Especially the ones that glow an ocean green. These ones specifically are from Cronus chewing and breaking his bones! So yes, if Antinous did complete what he said he’d do in Hold Them Down, Poseidon is gossiping with everyone who’ll listen, especially Odysseus, because he knows too well how it feels for bones to break. Besides that, I’m probably not adding his post “600 Strike” scars as that is 24-ish puncture wounds that’ll be glowing an ichor gold. Especially when doing a chibi. Plus the sword strikes are like- around as thin as a paper cut so that would be counter productive to add all of them.

Humanoid!‘Campuseidon does not cover his upper half outside of a golden metal front plate harness, with the back being made of the finest leather. May add his horn rings + diadem combo as well. Though he’s wearing his chiton and himation like a skirt. The chiton is thinner, white, and is longer. His himation is shorter, is lapis blue, and thicker. The himation also has some seaweed patterns. I will be adding armbands and greaves to him too.

Basically just semi-formal look.

As another fun little note to his design! When I finally can draw up a proper design, his beard is very reminiscent of his trident! He also has a 5 o’clock shadow mustache. Everything is pretty close to the face, so it’s not a “run your fingers through the beard” length. It’s just long enough that it’s not prickly

Ready for Campuseidon?

Gods… Ok- So- I have posted these pictures on my Bluesky, but not here yet! Cloudysseus belongs to @kdpartworks with the original designs for them is by @/neal-illustrator!

I forgot ‘Campuseidon’s gills in the original post of my Bluesky. I will be detailing this illustration without Poseidon to actually show the harness he often wears. I will also be adding his jewelry and wild celery wreath as well. I just didn’t want to add the additions after painting the background, which will be edited once I get to editing the sketch.

But yeah! So fun little fact about the dangling jewel: It’s a Cat’s Eye Aquamarine. I didn’t want to add explicit eye imagery since Poseidon is known to have the most children in Greek mythology, so I decided to just adding explicit Polyphemus imagery wasn’t what I wanted to go for. Though, my Poseidon is also very protective of his immediate family. So, I decided the Cat’s Eyes Aquamarine as a nod to Polyphemus was a decent compromise.

Also, as a note: My Poseidon has 3 forms he takes- Monstrous (40 ft tall), Humanoid (16 ft tall), and Human (6’3” tall). My Ody is around 5’5”-5’8”. I just leaned into him being 5’5” when comparing sizes.

Once I have the monstrous forms for the first six Olympians (Hestia, Hades, Demeter, Poseidon, Hera, and Zeus) done, I will be going into a lore dump for each character and how they fit into my canon.

Only big things are that blood is different between Primordials, Titans, Gods, and Demigods.

Primordials: Red blood- They’re from which humanity came from, clay (with help from Prometheus and Athena, but the bodies were created from the mud and clay that was a part of Gaia). Their blood, though, glimmers like rubies instead of a more crimson color like our own.

Titans: This is something only in my canon! In my canon, the Titans were the first to taste nectar and ambrosia. So, their blood was stained orange. This is when their eyes began to glow as well. Though, for them, it was a dim glow. They didn’t get anymore nectar or ambrosia, so it stayed stained after the overthrowing of the titans.

Gods: Just like in mythology, it’s an Ichor gold! Their eyes glow brightly from the constant tastes of ambrosia and nectar.

Demigods: They have flecks of Ichor amongst the crimson in their blood, which sometimes can reflect in their eyes. Especially when individuals are born with albinism. Their eyes, unlike a titan or god, do not glow, much like the Primordials.

Note: None of the deities are related by blood. Each of them contains the essence of who created them and a little bit of Chaos. Their relationships are typically misconstrued by the mortal mind. Some do see each other as siblings, especially those born to human parents, but none are blood related.

Anyway! More lore is to come. When I get the ‘Campuseidon illustration done, I’ll go more in depth with him specifically. I just wanted to give an overview to my canon. There’s still more to come. Let’s see if I can slowly get into drawing humans so I can group everything together neatly

So- like- what if I gave my Poseidon a humanoid form and a monstrous form, but the forms mean the complete opposite of each other (Human = Monster | Monster = Human)?

Cause- I had this idea for "Get In The Water" if I ever got into animatics. (Got some inspiration from Neal's animatic for context-)

So- it's the part where Odysseus is suggesting forgiveness. And this is the first time a mortal has seen a partially vulnerable side of Poseidon. It's not the human looking Poseidon mortals know and revere, but he's in his true form, holding a watery illusion of Polyphemus like a horse would its rider.

But before he says no, Poseidon looks to Odysseus, showing the man behind the god for the briefest of moments before letting the watery illusion fall into a puddle and Poseidon raises his walls once more. Turning into that humanoid form all mortals know him to have. and see for the rest of "Get In The Water" and into most of "600 Strike".

Then we see this form again in "600 Strike" again at the end because I genuinely like the idea someone had where Poseidon sounds so desperate because he is remembering being eaten by his father.

There is a cameo of this form in "Love in Paradise" since the gods do not uphold appearances amongst their own kind (deities/nymphs/fauns/et cetera). So Athena would see the silhouette of his true form in this idea of an animatic.

Anyway- I guess this is me saying I will design monstrous forms for all the gods along with their humanoid forms. I have put myself into a hole with this one, but I will accept my own decision and follow through with it.

I have never created an animatic before so I am unsure what would be the best to use between a phone and a chromebook as my only tools. I'll update when I get to it since there's a lot going on in my personal life. I'm doing what is simplest or keeps me in the flow of making art

Flat colors of an EPIC oc I have (Technically a godsona? Not completely, but he’s a god of near death)

He has a second pair of wings on his back. I just didn’t wanna draw them right now since the little head wings were a pain enough.

I’ll add his clothing and additions another time when I have the energy to.

As a note though: his wings do have a color shifting sheen! They tend to shift based on emotion or what he is doing. I also changed his eye color because green would be a bit on the nose to his phoenix nature

So- Finally got to designing the gods for Epic with starting off with the god king himself- Zeus. Is is between this and a stubble look for the beard. Leaning towards a long stubble/close to the face beard. Not sure if I'll add horns, but I am definitely adding in some age lines and jewelry. Probably will add horns because the fluff is calling for it to me. Clothes too, but I'm working on just what's underneath the toga/chiton right now.

For his hair likes to take upon the texture of clouds, so sometimes it's straight and sometimes it is really tight curls. It does tend to shift in monochrome colors depending on his mood (White- happy/joyful/flirtatious/joking | Mid-tone Grey- Neutral/professional | Black/Dark Gray- Angry/Divine Fury/Sad to a point of anger | These are just a basic colors to describe the idea.) Blush matches the color of the sky at the time. Have fun with any implications it can have in stories.

For what's going on below the bust? He does have wings. I love drawing them and Zeus is highly associated with eagles, so it made sense in my brain (Plus feathered Zeus is one of my favorite Zeus designs). His hands have talon-like nails. I'm thinking of giving him a cross between a bull and eagle tail. I will be giving him the legs of a bull because I like drawing hooves.

I will figure out coloration, accessories, clothing, et cetera once I get the chance and get more confident with doing full body art to give justice to the vision of his design.

As a note: Zeus can hide his wings for practicality purposes. Normally he shows them as a means of dominance and a fear tactic to those who oppose him. Otherwise this man hides them.

^ Also, I'll be fixing the eyebrows a little so he seems to be looking more intimidating and not like a chill surfer dude archetype.

I need to make different versions of MLP!Odysseus throughout his journey. It's been a while since I have touched these designs. This is the Troy saga to roughly around end of the Ocean saga design. (Circe-Thunder has his mane and tail progressively get more disheveled + unkempt beard. Wisdom saga actually is where his horn breaks during "Love In Paradise". By "600 Strike" MLP!Odysseus has heterochromia (red/brown) due to his encounter with Poseidon. His horn is also reformed by Ares' own primal magics for a time to aid in the Ithaca saga. Post EPIC, MLP!Odysseus is living with his broken horn, but has found ways to still use magic {great granddad is Hermes after all}.)

Much like my Polites, this is my personal headcanon design for unicorns. His coat is based on the night sky. The golden leaves are an indicator to his position of where he rules (think something along thee lines of before Celestia and Luna taking over as princesses with how ranking works).

For my design choices, it was very unintentional to be similar to the Wisdom saga colors. When looking into the colors that were associated with Odysseus, blues and purples were brought up a lot. I believe teal as well, though I do not remember off the top of my head. With the star and night themes, it's kind of to note that the night time normally is associated with illusions, and Odysseus is very much known to play tricks (Saying his name was "Nobody" to the cyclops, or the Trojan horse for a couple examples.)

So! I may add a beard to my MLP!Penelope, but I kinda like the difference here. When making her, I felt that basing her off of a sunrise was the right way to go. Her cutie mark is to represent the weaving, with the patch behind it being blue for wisdom. A trait normally associated with Athena, and Athena being Odysseus' mentor, it made things work well.

I have also realized that I will end up traumatizing MLP!Odysseus since MLP!Penelope has yellow/gold coloring, and Zeus' lightning illusion of her basically has those very same colors too... Well- now I will suffer the consequences of my actions now.

In all seriousness though, I absolutely adore her design, especially since it's a simpler design.

Ok- so- I did not remember to color MLP!Telemachus' line art. That's my bad. But anyway- his theme is based on a cloudy summer day. He has his mother's eyes because a) it's a nice focal point to the face, and b) it's a way for Odysseus to know that this is his son. The freckles were to fill out the space on his face as it looked bare since I didn't do much with his hair this time around.

As for his cutie mark the wolf is to represent family loyalty and the nickname he is given in the musical "Little Wolf/Wolf". The undrawn bow is to contrast the bow + arrow on his father's, showing his perspective on others. MLP!Telemachus is still willing to greet with open arms.

Hopefully you all enjoy this. Though I'm fine with them myself. As stated, I will probably update them so their bodies don't look so dog-like.

Been a while! Currently working on bust designs for the Greek gods + characters in EPIC. I'll be posting the MLP!EPIC designs for Odysseus, Penelope, and Telemachus together. I will probably ed up redrawing everyone that I've done since the more dog-like body isn't really all that anatomically correct. Anyway! This is my- I think people would call this a Ponysona? Either way- His name is Druid Light and he's a Kirin. Not much lore with him yet, but he likes to weave and be away from most ponies to recharge in nature. Favorite time of day is any time the moon ad stars are out s I see him as an astrology nerd, sometimes making constellations where there are none and the stories behind them. Typically pretty stoic, but he shows some emotions.

Well, I have now finished the banner art. Don’t know if it will fully show or not, but hopefully it will.

Anyway, fixed up the colors on the fire. Pretty proud of this honestly. I’ll make a character sheet for Sanctum soon. For now, enjoy the political art.

For those who may question why the flag’s slogan is “Live Longer Than Trump”: It is for those who may want to kill themselves due to the results of Trump winning the popular vote. It’s for those who know someone who has succeeded because of this. It’s for those who still need a reason to keep going.

Many people will be affected if it is him inaugurated in 2025. Evangelical Christians will come out of the woodwork and will try to push as much as they can within legal right.

We’re all scared. We might as well hope to live through Trump’s (hopefully not) second term. We will get through this. We gotta hope we do. We need to for the next generations to see us and how we persevered through this tumultuous time. Peaceful protests and trying to keep the tyrannical Cheeto out of office peacefully is the best way to do so.

Hopefully you all enjoy the art. I’m gonna hopefully not deal with anymore political issues for now. Again, this is an art account. But I gotta say it so others know my stance. So others know this is a safe space.

Banner Update

So… to the audience in America will know that we have got the evil Cheeto skinned man back in office. This affects me too since I also live in the USA.

Apologies for the wrongly put joke. It’s how I am currently coping with the situation right now.

Anyway, with this news, I’m still going to be proud on my accounts. I’m making a banner that isn’t anthro. It is of a feral version of Sanctum running with a long banner in their jaws. (Sketch will be added to the post.) the banner will either say “Live Longer Than Trump” on the trans flag, or will have a set of lyrics from “Mr. Please” by Rare Americans with a blood red flag and a pale pink color for the lettering. I haven’t decided yet.

With the current situation, it would be better to show my stance. While I don’t want to get political here, I’m not going to pretend I’m not affected by the election either. It will affect my art and life. Might as well come out to say it.

Mascot Update

Hello! I’m finally getting to making my mascot for this account.

Their name is Sanctum and they’re a Hellhound (mixture of several hellhound species from different myths). Their gender identity is genderfluid and gendervoid, so they feel both a void with their gender, and all genders at once at varying degrees depending on the vibes. Sanctum’s preferred pronouns are they/them or it/its (neopronouns are also on the table). Their orientation is on the aroace spectrum, specifically being gray romantic and greysexual. So, if I do ship art, it’ll be considered a “self insert ship” or they will be shipped with characters in fandoms my partners and I are in. Maybe both. Depends.

More information will come in the post when I announce my updated profile picture and banner. Information such as powers/abilities, age, and so on. So, I guess all there is now is to give a little sneak peak into the character’s appearance. Here goes nothing!

Using 4-5 different species here. Plus some of my own ideas. Those species are (appearance wise): The Huodou, the Cŵn Annwn, the Black Dog, and the Black Shuck.

Well, here goes nothing. This is my interpretation of Polites from EPIC: The Musical as a pegasus. Reasoning for him being a pegasus? I thought it would look cool if I were to recreate Open Arms in the MLP universe. Especially with him and Unicorn Odysseus.

Now, I’m fully aware that MLP pegasi do not look like this. This is just a headcanon design. I personally prefer this. Even if it’ll be a lot more complicated to make art.

Didn’t shade the picture as I didn’t want to deal with shading. Probably won’t be shaded later either.

Now, for design choices I took for Polites. Yellows and greens are interesting. Yellows typically are to indicate happiness and joy. Greens normally induce a sense of tranquility, peace, and harmony. With Polites character in “Open Arms” being the way that he’s normally portrayed, these two colors make a lot of sense. For the cutie mark, it’s to harken back to “Open Arms”, as well as his impending death. The length of the ghost pony mostly is to keep the design simplified, but also make a note as to the fact Mr. Jalapeño likes to traumatize us with Polites singing “Open Arms.”

I genuinely have no qualms with it though. I actually find it very sweet and I understand why it’s put in so many times. The musical is about ruthlessness and when to be that monster. If Polites didn’t die, then what’s the need? If Eurylochus did listen to him and left the wind bag alone, or didn’t start the mutiny? He has a point. We need to hear a musical about ruthlessness and when to let it out.

If I had to say what Greek story I’d love to hear about in a musical, maybe the Iliad or possibly a story that follows the stories of the gods. With the second one, possibly taking it in a “Ride the Cyclone” -esq way. Could be one or multiple.

Either way, I am just really happy with the results!

Introduction

Hello there! This is my art blog. I realized my main blog ( @tyr-the-fenrir ) Has become a mash-up blog and any art posted there will inevitably be pushed down by reblogs and posts about other things.

This blog is to repost my art and bring it all together under one account. This includes my furry art, wings of fire, dnd, warrior cats, original creatures/characters, and other kinds of art.

My art will be a mix f different things. Sketches from my physical sketchbooks are in the traditional art route. For digital, there's a few things I use. I own an IPhone, so I use Procreate Pocket primarily. Though I used to use Sketchbook on it too. I also use Sketchbook on the chromebook my girlfriend gave to me. Most of my art will be saved from my phone sketchbook app as I plan to delete it soon. Storage on the 7+ is absolute shit lol.

I may do unconventional art such as art from other sites or programs such as Minecraft or the like. That is to be seen though.

If you want to know about me as a person more, the blog I tagged is mine and my introduction is lengthy enough to get a vibe of me.

Rules/Boundaries

I don't like 'em as much as the next (this is a joke), but to keep things running smooth, I must implement them.

I will not tolerate drama on this account. I do support Ukraine and Palestine, the LGBTQ+ community, the alterhuman/nonhuman community, and the plural community. But this is an account for art. My political views and beliefs are not going to be posted. My main account will be the place for all of that if I so choose.

I am not here to be told how much my art costs, or to do things I don't want to do. I eventually do plan on taking commissions. I have already cheap prices for them. (The cheapest item being a chibi sketch which is between $1-$3 USD.) As for the second part, I don't want to do things that I don't like (Proships and the likes). My only exception is vent art in which it will be properly tagged as such.

If people want to follow, I have an open arms policy. Everyone is welcome and I don't want harassment to go to anyone. Though, the exception to everyone is those in my DNI list. If there is legitimate concern about any content I make (such as a controversial piece of media) put a comment or message me.
