I know now>:)
Nobody knows the real reason I started reading Percy Jackson was because the bearded dragon I got rehomed to me is named Percy Jackson and I needed to do her justice

I am madly and desperately in love with anybody who analyzes scenes like this from good shows because the general want to understand how a character behaves instead of mindlessly consuming content is just so nice
daryl and denise about their brothers
when denise is describing her brother as brave and unflinching, the camera slowly shifts to daryl, suggesting denise sees those qualities in him (which is confirmed at the end of the ep but the camera direction as an implication is one of my favourite things) yet daryl says "sounds like we had the same brother" and it's because he saw those same characteristics in merle...it's definitely the first time daryl has mentioned the fact he had a brother to someone from alexandria and for it to be denise of all people is so gut wrenching. also for daryl to learn they had similar upbringings, both faced neglect from parents with substance abuse issues, builds their connection and makes the end that much more devastating.
denise's last monologue
besides the fact it's clear what's about to happen, denise's last words were so impactful as a viewer and clearly on rosita and daryl. every affirmation for daryl that he is a good person becomes emotional. his intimidating demeanour is embedded into him because of his hesitancy to trust people, resulting from his clenched fist around all his guilt and anger. it's prevalent in the next episode when daryl is seen holding onto denise's dennis keychain and runs off to find dwight because he blames himself for losing her.
denise was a selfless person to the core. as cruel as her death is, it aligns with the notion of twd's world building that someone as kind and loving like her will struggle to endure... it's not that the world didn't deserve her, but the world could not accommodate her presence, not for long.

I think that instead of therapy I just need a girlfriend or a friend who i can hold hands with to watch sad movies with where I can get attached to a character that most certainly dies and then cry into her shoulder over it.
Anyways, watching War for the Planet of The Apes. Bad Ape is life, Bad Ape is love.

the city where we live doesn't allow public barbecues so my brother fucking welded a grill to a handcart and now hosts "chill and grill sessions" where he sends all his friends his live location so they can hunt him down on their bikes with sausages in their backpacks while he carts it around evading the police like some sort of barbecue vigilante, grilling on the run. i have never been prouder of him

no one asked but this is the daryl dixon edit that made me rewatch twd for the first time and possibly consider finishing the series. there needs to be a study done on the effect of thirst trap edits of old men

First you procrastinate on the task because it is not a big enough deal to get done urgently. Then you procrastinate on the task because it has become such a big deal that doing it is overwhelming. You would think that this implies a middle point where it is just big enough of a deal to get done easily, however the inherent perversity of the universe's causal geometry prevents this
