Black Diamonds & Hearts 🖤

Felt like sharing an excerpt from one of my published short stories 🥰

“These diamonds are black. Does it mean that they are not real or that they have a lower value than actual diamonds?”

“No, not at all. Black diamonds are still diamonds. They are just as precious and their meaning is the same. The only difference is that black diamonds had to go through some trials. The inclusion of graphite in the crystalline structure during its formation gives it its color. However, this also makes it more brittle.”

“Oh. It's just like my heart.”

“Yes, exactly.”

Women are worth it ❤️

I was talking with my date about how his newly married friend was having difficulty understanding his wife when I realized I was already giving him a seminar about women 😅

Since it's National Women's Month, allow me to share an excerpt 💃

It's hard to be a woman. Our brains are wired differently, in a way that allows us to think about how everything's connected and allows us to feel so many emotions all at once. It often blows up into a crying mess when it becomes too much to handle. Although there are these difficult things about women, the same wiring also allows us to multitask, see different perspectives, and love unconditionally. So if you manage to stick steadfast through the hard times, the great times are absolutely worth it 💖

Got my very first comment on YT from someone who doesn't know me AND who happens to be a musician/artist! 😱 Kinilig ako haha 😄 It's pretty craaazzzy cos I never thought random people would actually find/watch my vids let alone like 'em! So I'm taking this as a sign to share my YT channel lol (I previously only shared it with a few family and friends). It's just my home vids taken with my phone, just for fun. The Vastness

I stand at the edge of a cliff

frozen in a place without time

The waves crashing far below

force me to look at the hues of blue

Peace is what the ocean breathes into me

yet I find myself catching my breath

I am face to face with deep unrest and mystery

I drown in the vastness

I lie on the ground without care

staring into a clear blue sky

The clouds soon disappear

giving way to the infinite stars

The cool wind whispers of dreams

yet I find myself shedding a tear

I am face to face with deep worry and uncertainty

I drown in the vastness

I sit as the sun starts to rise

slowly revealing peaks and hills

Countless trees full of wisdom

firmly rooted and resilient

The mountains sing a song of hope

yet I find myself looking away

I am face to face with deep doubt and despair

I drown in the vastness

I kneel as the world fades away

my closed eyes start to look within

Trembling under the weight of life

incessant fears pinning me down

An overwhelming pain engulfs me

yet I find myself clasping my hands

I am face to face with myself

I drown in the vastness

I rise from the deep, gasping for air...

I am the vastness, I will not drown.

🕰️ The clock is ticking capriciously during these uncertain times. We are fearful that our time has come, yet hopeful that we'd have a little more time. All eyes are on the clock's volatile hands. As I put down the clock and reach out to you, I can only pray that you can look away and hear what I have to say... I am sorry for all my faults and shortcomings. I forgive you for all that needs forgiving. Thank you for all that you are. I love you as all human beings should love each other. And I know that you are loved here on Earth and beyond. May we all be safe during these trying times. And if you or I should run out of time, it would bring me profound peace to know that, for a brief moment, you looked away from the hands of time... ❤️
