Happy #Juneteenth! This month has been one of the most (ironically, in quarantine) eventful in my life! So much to celebrate from #pride🌈 to the release of my first project during #blackmusicmonth , but not every moment has been the most joyous. Nonetheless, I am so happy to be here today sharing my life and art with every single one of you! First things first, I will officially be welcoming summer 2020 with my first performance of a brand new track from my new album. I’d originally considered performing and spotlighting one of my favorite tracks from Q P O C during pride month, but with everything going on I just haven’t been in the space to promote myself much, but more help others. Of the various ways I choose to give back, the one that brings me most joy is the creation of this new song about everything that’s going on mow as well as some things that have been on my mind over the past few years, specifically the Pulse Nightclub shooting, yet I was maybe too troubled to find the right words back then.
