Anyways, I have a difficult dilemma Survivor presented today and I would want to know what would be your answer!

Would you rather be able to create pearls and allow everyone, anywhere, to be able to read them, but you yourself are not able to read any of them, even the ones you, yourself, made.

Or have everyone be able to create pearls, but only you are able to see their contents?

The former, with relative ease. I generally believe it would be easier for a single person to distribute widespread knowledge than for many to need one person for answers. Further, I am rather used to putting others first, so I don’t think I’d mind being unable to read them. Especially since others could simply read them to me.

And, honestly, I do not wish to bear more responsibility, much less responsibility as some oracle of knowledge. That sounds rather stressful.

Perhaps the reason vultures are so offended by the taking of their masks is they are simply ashamed of their visage. Maybe if someone taught them to care more for their form, they would be less violent.

Arti tells me I’m attaching too much sentiment to these biomechanical predators, so I’m curious what the tumblr may think of it.

Approximately five times my total height, that being perhaps 8ish feet long.

How is artificer doing, are there slugpups in the column? How does artificer feel about the fact that she doesn't have them, but sees them. If you found a nobody's slugpup, would you bring it to Artificer?

There are pups around the colony, yes. Arti does care for them much, and treats them as well if not better than gourmand when she needs to keep track. But she tries to keep her distance if she can. I… believe she still lacks trust in herself. Naturally, I suppose. But she is doing fine even with their presence.

If I found one alone… I do not know what I would do. Bring it back to the colony, of course, but whether she and I would ever care for one together is… unclear. Perhaps she just need more time.

Today I learned a strawberry lizard and an extremely brave white lizard are nearly indistinguishable in most scenarios.

You ever gotten head pats/head scritches

Occasionally. Sometimes from my partner, more from Looks to the Moon and Five Pebbles back when I was searching for them. Moon is simply kind, though I believe Pebbles simply did not know what else to do. They are quite nice.

What’s your favorite food?

Lilypucks. I find the texture novel and the taste an enjoyable mix of sweetnesses. The average popcorn kernel is a close second though.

So how are pebbles and moon doing?

That’s a very complicated question. But to make a very long story short, they are okay. They are both very damaged, but repairs are being made by the others of the local group, mostly on Five Pebbles. Looks to the Moon claims she doesn’t mind her state all that much as long as she has her communications and most of her memory, two things she recently obtained with some help. And as far as I’m aware, all mistakes have been forgiven. Moon holds no grudge, of that I am sure.

How do you even fit in pipes like how much fluidity is your body made out of!?

Well, I am a slugcat. We were originally bred from some sort of pipe-cleaning unit (if my assumptions are correct) and evolved into a much more well rounded species that was fit for messaging and travel. So like most slugcats, it is simply in my genetics to work through tight spaces. I am also over 50% fluff by volume, so that helps.

It’s rather complicated. In short, she was lost and looking for a way back to Five Pebbles. I was willing to assist. And since I was, at the time, being guided to ascend him, I could guide her with relative ease.

It was naturally more nuanced than that. I may have pestered her a bit too much on the assistance when she refused. She did very nearly kill me. But, even back then, she was not willing to kill an innocent and very defenseless fellow slugcat. So I was left alive.

A few cycles later, I found out she was following me. She’d changed her mind on refusing my guidance, but believed I would not help her after my treatment. She was incorrect, naturally. And the rest is history.

How's it feel doing shrooms

… I’m sorry? I can’t say in familiar with the term.

My partner has informed me you’re referring to ingesting the hallucinogenic mushrooms that populate some areas. Deeply disturbing and mentally exhausting to the point of minor insanity. For me at least. Hallucinations and my ancient mind do not mix well.

I’m told the effects vary, and I know they specifically are only that harmful to me. Nonetheless, I don’t recommend it. They don’t do good things for your mind or soul.

Ah, I understand. I am lucky to have an oddly experienced partner in managing internet accounts.

Hmm… I am unsure. Chasing winds was interesting, with all the… well, wind and appropriate weather-measuring equipment. It seemed to be their secondary function. Seven Red Suns had the… interesting addition of being hunted by the Spearmaster. I believe it would lie with No Significant Harassment, for the sheer amount of odd experiments, creatures, and makeshift functions that made traversal in every room somewhat different. Quite an eccentric, NSH is.

Has arti ever offered you meat?

Occasionally, yes. A passing batfly to snack on because she simply forgets who she’s talking too, as we all occasionally do. She once brought home an entire pole plant in triumphant pride, only for me to sadly tell her that sentience is a dealbreaker for my meals. Overall, she is very respectful of my diet and morals, and accommodates them more than adequately.

Yes, indeed I am. While I do pride myself on my survival abilities, I cannot deny she was and is an immense help to my safety. I do truly appreciate her for that.
