Yoooooo Let’s Talk One Piece Stampede Teaser Trailer 2!!!

Dude the second teaser trailer of One Piece Film Stampede just dropped and I’m freaking out…so let’s take gander at some golden nuggets revealed in the recent trailer shall we?

Setting: The movie will take place on an island that attracts pirates with the promise of searching for Roger’s lost treasure.

This island is catered to pirates… practically a “Pirate Town” or a “Pirate Amusement Park”. Bars, restaurants, theaters….even something that looks to be a “Pirate Gift Shop” to buy souvenirs! [bottom upper right picture: a shop showing the Sun Pirate and Red Hair Pirate flags for sale as well as Whitebeard’s Moby Dick ship model…and I think the other ship model belongs to the Kuja Pirates but I could be wrong].

There’s hint that the treasure may in fact be at the bottom of the sea...

Characters:

Enter in Dr. Dork Surgeon of Death himself, Trafalgar Law. Don’t be distracted by this man’s amazing sense of fashion…the biggest reveal here is the Polar Tang. When it slips out that the treasure could be found of at the bottom of the sea…you know what ship everyone will try on hop on. That bad motherfucker Polar Tang. 

This film will also bless us with our Marine Dream Team in disguise: Pirate Smoker and Tashigi. I love how Smoker is putting in like 20% into his pirate disguise while Tashigi is putting in 200%. Mad respect to Tashigi yo. 

Ok….I’m not going to lie…this was the biggest shocker for me in the trailer reveal. And then I realize…dude…this movie is about a treasure hunt…..and there’s only one other pirate I know that get’s a major hard on for treasure as much as Nami. And that greedy bitch is Buggy the Clown. And having Buggy involved in the film makes EVEN MORE SENSE when we are introduced to the film’s antagonist:

Say yooooooo to “The Demon Heir” Douglas Bullet…. a former Roger Pirate crew member! HOLY MOTHER OF ODA!! With Buggy in the mix, I’m hoping for some sort of backstory involving the Roger Pirates or even an introduction of some Roger Pirate crew members that have yet to be revealed in the manga. Or perhaps this will tempted some other former Roger Pirate members to intervene? Shanks? Rayleigh? Scopper Gaban? Yooo fingers crossed!!
