Life Update
Hey Guys,
wow, so it’s been a really long time since I have checked my tumblr! I’m going to try and get back into posting, blogging and recipe creating! Does anyone still read these?!
I’m now living in Sydney, working as a Food Technologist. I married my husband October 2017 and we’re expecting a baby girl April this year!
any questions? I’m happy to answer! or anything you want to see from me?
Happy New Year xxx

Hi Sahar :) what do you suggest eating if you're hungry after dinner (10 pm)? Thank you
If Im hungry after dinner I usually eat an apple or make a protein mug cake which is just 1 scoop of protein and 1 egg white mixed together! it tastes like a delicious gooey cake :D

When I start university next year, I'll have free access to the gym. I really want to start working out but I'm nervous because I'm way out of shape and don't really know what I'm doing. I don't want to look like an idiot in front of people who actually know what they're doing... Any advice for being less freaked out/ not looking stupid??
Good morning :)
First of all, thats so good you have free access to the gym!
I can understand completely, I was the same when I first joined a gym. It can seem overwhelming but don’t worry about anyone else because they are all focused on what they’re doing at the gym and won’t be paying anyone else attention!
My advice would be to jump on youtube and watch a video on gym equipment: e.g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlEt2DLstAc just so you get an idea on what machines do what!
Another great tip would be to go to the gym with a friend, someone that may have experience at the gym, you can do a workout with them and get to understand some exercises.
Good luck!
Let me know how it goes! and if you want help with what workouts to do or what to train let me know!  xxx

Hi Sahar :) I would really like to work on my glutes to make my booty perkier aka to get the brazilian booty. Could you suggest me some exercises I could do + how often should I do them. Thank you, you're the best :)x
Hey gurl,
These are my fave booty exercises for leg day, they really target the glutes for a nice firm booty!! the next day im always sooo sore!!!
- 3x15 weighed sumo squats
- 3x20 weighted hip thrusts
- 4x15 weighted leg press
- 3x15 (each leg) Donkey Kick backs
- 4x15 weighted hamstring curls (these target the muscle under your glutes to make your butt look more round and stand out more!!!
Let me know how you go!

Hi! I am thinking about joining a gym, but I don't really know what I'll do there. I don't want to go just to use the treadmill (because I could do that outside for free!) but not sure what other things there are to use, good for a beginner wanting to lose a bit of weight and feel fitter! Any suggestions on a routine/where to start/what to do? Thanks!
Hey :)
The best thing to do is go onto youtube and watch a few gym workouts just to get an idea on the machines and how to use them. The treadmill can have its benefits! but there are other varities of cardio machines you can use if you wanted to warm up or do a bit of cardio
Starting out I would recommend a simple split like this:
Day 1: Upper body (e.g triceps & chest
Day 2: 30-40 mins cardio
Day 3: Lower Body (e.g butt and hamstrings)
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Upper body (e.g biceps and back)
Day 6: 30-40 mins cardio
Day 7: Lower Body (e.g butt and quads)
xx

Are fruits bad for weight loss?
not at all, fruits in moderation are very beneficial to your health and can aid in weight loss in a healthy balanced diet. Obviously fruits contain sugar, so I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 serves a day. If you are trying to loose weight stick to lower sugar fruits like apples, berries, kiwi fruit, and watermelon! xxx

Sahar! I love your blog and follow it closely. It's one of my favorites =)Anyway I would love your input on something. I started seriously lifting about a month ago and have been pleased with the results so far. But all of a sudden about a week and a half ago after an especiallyrics intense workout all food just sounded gross. I've been choking down my meals and struggling to eat enough. I know it's not hormonal; I think it has to do with the workouts. Any ideas/advice come to mind? Thanks!!
Maybe you need to look at the times you are eating? straight after a big intense workout food can often be too much and not appetising! If you’re struggling, try drinking smoothies or shakes and fill them with green veggies, protein and a bit of fruit! That way you’re getting valuable nutrients in its easier to consume!xx
