6 Steps To Make A Perfect Coffee With A French Press Every day
Tumblr media
Are you trying to make coffee with a French Press? In this post you will learn what it is and the kind of coffee ground you need to use to make a perfect coffee for your friends every day
French Press
What is the French press? A French press, also known as a press pot, coffee press, or coffee plunger, is a coffee brewing device The modern press consists of a narrow cylindrical beaker, usually made of glass or clear plastic, equipped with a metal or plastic lid. A plunger that fits tightly in the cylinder and has a fine stainless steel wire or nylon mesh filter. It is a tall, narrow cylinder with a plunger that includes a metal or nylon fine mesh filter. The grounds are placed in the cylinder, and off-the-boil water is then poured into it. The coffee and hot water are left in the cylinder for about 4–5 minutes. The plunger is gently pushed down, leaving the filter immediately above the grounds, allowing the coffee to be poured out while the filter retains the grounds. Depending on the type of filter, it is important to pay attention to the grind of the coffee beans, though a rather coarse grind is almost always called for Coffee is brewed by placing coarsely ground coffee in the empty beaker and adding hot—between 93–96 °C water, in proportions of about 30g of coffee grounds to 500 ml of water, more or less to taste. The brewing time is about two to four minutes. It works best with coffee of a coarser grind They are more portable and self-contained than other coffee makers   How to Make a Cup of Coffee with French Press Step 1. Take off the lid and remove the plunger with the attached filter from the French Press. Step 2. Use the coffee scoop to scoop the desired amount of coarse ground coffee into the bottom of the French Press. Step 3. Pour boiling water into the Press. Warm tip: The perfect water temperature for French press coffee is from 195-200°F (91-93°C). Step 4. Lift up the plunger to stir the coffee grounds with hot water to help extract the coffee into the water. Step 5. Wait for 2-5 minutes. Step 6. Press down the plunger to separate the coffee grounds from water, then pour into your coffee cup or mug. Conclusion Having a French Press will enable you to make a perfect coffee at home without going to the coffee stands of spending so much money every day Read the full article
