We All Should Make a push for the Use of Solar Energy.

In the following article it mentioned that Obama and his administrative teams is “making a new large-scale effort to encourage deployment and use of rooftop solar power on homes.” Further discussing the opening of opportunity this decision of the US should make to the on the rest of the world. In the US, the Obama administration is taking advantage of the decreasing price in solar panels, they are taking the initiative to buy solar panels now while the panels are inexpensive. They aim at houses owned by low- and moderate- income Americans to increase the amount of solar installations. The idea is to encourage a lot of home owners to switch over to renewable technology and take the advantage of the price decrease. These changes can help them switch over to a more dynamic and healthy lifestyle. The initiative that Obama and his administration team has taken into consideration can inspire all Americans and can increase their use of solar energy. With this means, it will cause less use of natural resources to power normal electricity and it will cause less pollution, creating a healthier environment for the people. This initiative can help save a lot of money as well for future run. It would be a disappointment if we all miss out on this opportunity of the price decreases of renewable technology, we should not miss out on the perfect time to make a difference in the world. Solar energy is the answer to our future, we need to decide when we should grasp it and make use of it, before it is too late. Amazing and Comfortable Solar- Powered Van This is an extreme task that the woman, by the name of On, was prepared to go through in order for her to build a comfortable mobile home, fully solar power operated. Through this video, it is impressive to see how she transformed it into the way it would be accommodating for her and the environment. This project she set out to do and completed is extremely environmentally friendly and it will save her a lot of money in the future when she travels. She nicknamed the van “Gypsy.” It took her a mere 32 months for her to complete her task, through this time she had other things to take care of as well. A couple of occurrences in her life delayed her building time, but as you can see she was fully successful in the end. This project took to my attention, because it was impressive to see how a woman with no experience in basic building, took on this type of project to create something for herself and give back to the environment. We should all strive to succeed the way she succeeded, in order to reap what we sow. Are hybrid cars beneficial in any way?

In 1901 the very first gasoline-electric hybrid automobile was developed by Ferdinand Porsche. This vehicle was named the Lohner-Porsche Mixte Hybrid. The name hybrid comes from the combination of any two elements, in this case it is the combination of electrical and fuel. These vehicles use two or more distinct power sources in order for the vehicle to operate. Hybrid cars also known as hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), are the combination of an internal combustion engine and electric motors. They are vehicles that are powered by electricity and can also run on fuel like normal cars. Hybrid vehicles are easily rechargeable and when they have not been charged one can still drive with them by means of fuel. Some of these vehicles such as Nissan leaf, you have to plug into an outlet, whereas the Toyota Prius can recharge its engine whilst driving. The batteries of the vehicles are also being engineered to have a long life. Most of the hybrid cars, such as the Toyota Prius, doesn’t need an outlet to charge. The way it charges, is through movement of the wheels, then it stores the kinetic energy which is produced. This process of self-charging is known as regenerative braking or a rechargeable energy storage system. Hybrid cars are extremely beneficial to the environment, because they produce less carbon dioxide. Conventional vehicles produce large amounts of emissions that are released into the air when the gasoline is burned to fuel the vehicle. These electric motors are much more efficient than gasoline engines, because they use less gasoline to do the same work as a conventional vehicle. A hybrid car such as the Toyota Prius has 90% less pollutant effects that are produced than the conventional vehicles. This means that the car has less harmful chemicals that are released into the air and environment. The use of these vehicles will reduce gas emissions and air pollution. Nearly every car manufacturer has a series of hybrid vehicles available for demonstration. Manufactures are receiving more demands on hybrid vehicles and the demand for them continues to increase. As technology advances, trucks, busses and other commercial vehicles are coming into use of hybrid systems. Even though hybrid cars can be expensive at first, investing in a hybrid car can have large financial benefits in the long run, saving you a lot of money. Now to answer the question, hybrid cars are extremely beneficial and environmentally friendly. They have few disadvantages, but with a little sacrifice, you have a lot to gain. Technology is advancing at a rapid pace and the vehicles are also being engineered to become more and more efficient. There is a lot we can expect for the future development of these vehicles.
