OK, so I thought popped in my head today when I went to gas station i live nearby and they have like Charleston chews on the shelf an stuff, and I and it got me wondering which Denouement brother likes what snacks.

Btw, I did some year bending for some of these snacks because from what I've gathered is that the basis consensus from the fandom is that asoue is somewhere in the 1960s. So if there are some snacks from the early 70s please don't bother I know I did my research.

So with out further a due, here are my headcanons.

I personally believe that dewey Specifically has a special place in his heart for girl scout cookies and has his brothers go get them for him and sometimes impersonating them to buy them. Now I think that each of them have their favorites of course, dewey loves the do-si-dos, Ernest loves the tagalongs, and Frank loves somoas, but they can all agree on thin mints.

As for candy, i do think that dewey has more of a sweet tooth then his brothers, where as frank likes more salty things and Ernest is an in-between of the two.

Dewey likes Charleston chews (frozen), m&ms, Starbursts, dots, candy cigarettes/sticks, candy buttons, and smarties. He preferres sugar candy over chocolate ones. As for saltier snacks, Pringles and ruffles were his favorite.

Ernest likes twinkies, 3 musketeers, almond joys, Charleston chews (unfrozen), pudding cups, and candy cigarettes/sticks he preferres chocolate over sugar. And salty snack, lays chips, pringles, andy capps hot fries, and funyuns.

Frank although not particularly fond of unhealthy eating habits down indulge on some snacks like lays original, Andy capps cheddar fries, triscuits preferred with sliced cheese, and popcorn. And for sweet Hershey's chocolate bars, smarties, pop tarts, and m&ms.

Dewey likes Neapolitan ice cream because he can never choose which flavor he actually wants. Ernest like Sherbert, specifically the orange one. Frank is simple he likes vanilla or on occasions rum raisin.

I hate it when I'm scrolling on tiktok and I see a slideshow and it say pick your fav marvel duo and instead of using Tony's ACTUAL PARTNER rhodey (AKA war machine) who he built armor for. They use Peter parker.

Now this is nothing against Peter or the people who do this, it is just one of my irrational pet peeves.

This is why my marvel oc has Heterochromia, because I'm Indecisive and could not choose between the meanings behind brown eyes or blue eyes. So her having Heterochromia has meaning besides the Mary Sue thing which I tried so hard not to make her one.

i think it's so fucking cool when characters have heterochromia. idk if this is a common sentiment anymore but back in like 2019 it was sort of associated with preteens making their "mary sue god of everything wolf hybrid" ocs but first of all if you think that's a problem in the first place You Are A Tar Pit and second of all two eye colors is just undeniably sick as fuck. a win for indecisive people everywhere. and for color symbolism people also. it's just a win all around tbh

a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... At the same time though you have a little Saul Goodman in your ear going "your honor in their defense: who cares like omfgggg who caresssssss like come onnnnnn"

returning from four months of slumber to talk about the denouements again, which is typical of me, but the idea of them eating dinner together just struck me and

in my mind the three of them never really dine together, despite working and living together all the time. mostly they’re too busy to have a proper sit-down meal everyday, right? but they’re also just reluctant to have a family dinner what with being on the opposite sides of the schism and all that.

but maybe one day frank grabs a plate from the hotel kitchen and goes down to the library because it’s been a while since he’s joined dewey for dinner, and he finds that ernest is already there with his own plate of food. he considers leaving, but dewey is already waving him over, so he sits down at the table and they eat together as a family for the first time in years.

and it’s nice. they skirt around the subject of vfd, but they make light conversation and drink some wine and before you know it they’re all laughing over some clever joke dewey made, and it’s like getting a glimpse into what their every day would be like if it weren’t for the schism.

they don’t bring it up ever again, but in the years following, frank will sometimes go downstairs to eat with dewey, and some times ernest will be there, and for ninety minutes, it’s like they’re a real family again.
