I can finally draw Angel from my Angel Overlord au! Nothing too interesting, but at least I was able to specify well what his design would be (I suck at that)

But some lore time of my swap au, vaggie and al known each other long ago because in this au some overlords help heaven to kill sinners in hell because they will have gain more power, alastor join the army for power ofc. Oh yeah I forgot that lute and vox are swap aswell, eve (adam swap with eve) before Alastor was in the hotel he was killing sinners by his powers and have his angelic weapon, he spotted a child and I know he don’t like kids but that time he felted that this is wrong and told that child go (similar to vaggies) vox spotted him and cut his eye ( al has a scar now) rip his antlers out,and broke his mic to leave him powerless. That’s when Lucifer spotted Al on the ground and help him to health and get him back to his house to heal him. and vaggie backstory I’m still doing it but THATS LOL

My Lute redesign

I think her canon design is fine? But still, like what I said in my Adam redesign post, why do the angels look demonic?

I assume that all exorcists are based on Adam's look, especially the mask so yeah that looks similar. Since I think her canon design is already fine, I basically made this into a mix of canon and a sexy crusader lol. I changed her eyes to purple so that it contrasts with Adam's yellow ones (and also because I wanted her to look more goth).

In terms of characterization, I think she's also fine I'm just changing that fact that she doesn't swear anymore. She polices Adam alot with his own swearing. Lute just kinda seems disgusted with the thought of hell in general so I'm pushing it a little bit further with some religious righteousness to mask her disgust. Believing that everything she does is for the greatest good.

Anyway, love her relationship with Adam, it was refreshing to see this kind of dynamic and I wish we got more of it😔

Hazbin Hotel swapped

Updated hazbin swap au looks. In this version I like to think of it as, “Charlie is more like her dad when it comes to “caring” for the sinners. And Alastor has a change of heart and uses his power as an overlord for good.” But they still have pretty much the same personalities, With just minor tweaks. Like Charlie still being a bit goofy and singing lots, but more aloof and less empathetic. Alastor is still egotistical and in need of control, but more open and actually allows himself to lean on others. Also thinking that Alastor no longer takes deals with sinners. Accepting his “clipped wings” and seeing that he is still very powerful. However what really determines if he is able to get redeemed is if he’s able to reach a point of letting all the power go in favor of the greater good. And I’d like to think that this sacrifice is what would eventually change Charlie’s mind for good about sinners and humanity as a whole.

been posting this hazbin hotel swap stuff on twitter and TikTok, let’s see how it fares here.

this is my hazbin hotel swap au. I’ll be posting each swap separately to see how each is reacted to and giving more in-depth explanations of my thoughts process behind the designs and some story stuff.

let’s start with the main character and her direct opposite.

Charlie Morningstar and alastor!

Let’s start with Charlie since her changes are so drastic.

as you can tell she is based off a ball joint porcelain doll. She’s now a sinner in this version who died in the 1800’s. She’s a very powerful overlord with many souls to her name.

she’s been gone for quite some time for unknown reasons but reappears when she decides to help the young demon prince of hell with his silly idea of redemption.

since we brought up alastor let’s talk about him. He’s the prince of hell now! He was originally a doll made by his mother (we’ll get to her eventually) that was brought to life. This isn’t show in his base design but when he goes full demon mode his old stitches and button eyes can be seen.

he wants to help sinners and make things better for them (same stuff as Charlie in cannon)

over all I like these designs but alastors lacks depth. I think in future pass throughs I’ll add more details.

I've had this idea since Episode 1 of Hazbin Hotel and I had to get it out of my head at last! XD When Lute said to Charlie about Hellborn being pardoned the first thing I thought of was all the Hellborn (Imps, Succubus's, Hellhounds, ect) all gleefully taking the utter mick out of the Exorcists knowing they can't do anything back.

I imagine very few things unite the residents of Hell but annoying the Angels has to be one of them! X)

I also managed to slip my own little Impsona into the 7th panel :P I should draw him more often its fun! (Little hint of things to come ;))
