[ BLADE RETRACTED. ] Hey guys – as much as I have all the motivation and all the inspiration to be writing Souji, final papers/projects/exams are piling up so I have to get to them. There is also a matter my mental health that has been in a bit of a horrible decline for the past weeks. While I love to RP and see it as a get away from all the academic stress, staying here for now has also had an impact of my mental health etc. I literally had to drag myself into posting this bc letting go of rp after I’ve gotten so much motivation for it is hard.

For now, I’ll be on an  INDEFINITE SEMI-HIATUS ALA PERMANENT LURK MODE in which I’ll be here once in a while to check on Souji + other muses or write for them, but will mostly be working on things outside rp. Th closest time I can give to a return date is MAY 10. Feel free to still message me and leave things behind  for either me or Souji + other muses– below are Discord + Twitter if you were ever interested ( pls just tell me who you are so I won’t be confused. )

Anyway, I hope to come back better and stronger than ever – and I hope you’ll still be interested in writing with me and Souji !!

Primarily based on this headcanon about Leo’s handwriting and how it shifted after his mother died. As a child, his mother was very strict on with how Leo was raised and how his studies were going o the point of controlling his penmanship. After she died, Leo was free to write anyway he pleases, which is good because he often thinks faster than he writes, so his penmanship now tends to look less legible or ‘showcase worthy’ compared to before.

“You could do that...” He muses purposefully out loud as he begins to pace away from Elise . Hands behind his back, attempting to hide the amusement he felt when he played with his sister. He can show her that she could be played as easily as he was. “Didn’t you say the crown was tailored for me? If you gave it to Camilla then the sizing would be off -- would she even like the colors you’ve chosen? Would it still be the perfect flower crown?”

”Come now -- Look I’m kneeling.Crown the knight, princess. I’m waiting.”

Leo has a very by-the-book parenting style. In his nervousness, he takes what the parenting books say to an almost literal sense and expects it to go according to what it tells him to expect. Therefore, Forrest, being one of the most behaved infant to ever exist, not throwing a whole lot of  temper tantrums at his ‘terrible twos’ was a total curve ball to his father and freaked him out.

NOHRIAN ROYALS + MENTAL ILLNESS -- just thoughts ( tw mental illness and suicide mention ) hmm....  can’t help but contemplate making mental illness hereditary in Garon’s genes in my canon seeing as Leo does develop depression, Xander is referenced to having depression, anxiety and past suicidal thoughts, and Camilla almost basically deciides to drop off the face of the earth after the war as a response to her grief. While you could argue that they are triggered by the circumstances around them ( and yes they have been triggered by such traumatic and grief-stricken events) , the way the siblings slip into this downward spiral is almost too easy ( not the words I want to use but I can’t think of any other to show how the transition is very dauntingly quick ) .

If so the Nohrian siblings have the terrible circumstance of nature and nurture working against them and their mental health.

While he had come to get use to the openness of Odin’s devotion and affection, it was still something he wasn’t willing accustomed to just yet. He thought to send the mage on his merry way – have him seize the rest of his day. However, knowing the man, Odin would simply refuse.
