Although no shackles bind my wrists, I sense the phantom weight of chains falling from me. As I walk in golden sandals towards golden blood, I feel another set of chains snap shut. Flanking me are a caravan of guards clad in gold, both my own and my fiancé’s. My own guards, the ones who guarded my carriage day and night as we rode to his battle camp, have hints of red decorating their tunics. A stark reminder of where I come from. I have wondered if such a reminder will be welcome.

Reintro!

I've been on writeblr four years, I figured it's time for a reintro! a lot of the folks who were here when I first came to this wonderful community aren't here anymore, and it's time to meet some new lovely people!

I'm Lila, she/her, and I am a queer fantasy romance author! I'm an indie author with three books currently out! they are:

writers, listen up...

i've fallen out of touch with the writeblr community a lot in the past few years, and i want to rectify that. the community aspect was what made me fall in love with tumblr, and what improved my writing for the better.

the golden days of my writing were when i was highly active and engaged in this wonderful community, but life and work and the horrors of self publishing have overtaken my energy in the past year. however, i have been really struggling with original writing, and i want to get back into the community here.

I feel like writeblr people aren't sending asks to each other as much after that kerfuffle over whether asks need to be individual to a person's projects to count as "supporting" writeblr. RE-INTRO

After eons of being almost completely inactive I finally found the energy to log back into this account so hi? Im Rusty, a young writer, I use she/they pronouns, im also some brand of neurodivergent, not 100% exactly what flavour but I'd love to meet other ND writers! Right now im mainly working on two projects that take place in the same world, just different times. Im going to give each of them their own intro in the future. I write mostly fantasy with found family, queer folks and terribly traumatizing my character :D
