Nothing against people still enjoying the show but this just proves that for me there is nothing to hook me back in. They cut personal stuff, and they don’t truly delve into the issues. Still. How is Jay saying he prefers Molly’s any development at all? Because he says therapy worked and he’s moving on? Where is said therapy shown (from what I hear it wasn’t)? It’s just sad and seems forced.

Honestly is anything cuter than Jay reading to his wife’s belly and each one of his kids?
Maybe One Day - Part 18
A collection of one-shots of Jay Halstead as a dad. Because we all need that in our lives. Co-written with @halsteadpd

“Jay, what are you doing?!” Erin asked with an exasperated sigh as she reclined on their bed. Her first pregnancy was definitely taking a toll on her energy levels; it seemed that all she ever wanted to do was sleep.

EXCUSE YOU how cute was this? First the whole banter (Yes Jay is totally the healthy freak lol) and just their domesticity and comfort around each other, the ease with which they live together and shop together and just are. You can tell how in love they are. Then Stephanie, I always wanted for Jay to rub it in that bitch’s face 😂 I loved that scene. Erin doesn’t have anything to prove, she has all she needs to be happy and that’s what matters. And yay for them being ready to start trying! Such growth for both of them to be able to take that step and feel confident that they can do it! This was such a sweet story, I loved it.
Love In Store
Pairing: Linstead Timeline: After they moved in together. Genre: I’d say fluff on top of fluff, with a fluff to end it. Rating: G
A/N: So thankful to @queseraone for betaing this, and also for helping me figure out the title! You rock girl!
I hope you guys like this! It’s inspired by a prompt I got into my ask.
Prompt: “This is probably a stupid af prompt but Jay and Erin at the grocery store. Who keeps putting junk food in the basket? Which one keeps riding the basket up and down the aisles? Do they each get a basket and race each other and then get in trouble? Who tries to be the more mature one and then ends up grabbing dino nuggets? I have lots of questions bc i can see them both doing all of those things”

I’m happy for Jesse, because I know he wanted this but this feels... underwhelming? He just rides in slowly? I would have expected more..
Jay/Jesse finally gets his bike 🏍

HOW. CUTE. WAS. THAT?!?!
I loved it so much. The tension, the banter, but the honest talks too. I like that they acknowledge the “something” that they have and can let themselves dream a bit. And any time Jay opens up a bit about his family is precious, it shows he really trusts Erin so much. The end 😍😍 someday..
Such a cute fic. Thank you for your continuous inspiration and work!
#28 Break Room
A/N: Posting for dear Sarah, so she doesn’t die of boredom.
I would set this sometime after season 1, because it was winter then, so that is the only thing that makes sense.
I feel you guys are kind of getting fed up with me, so if that’s the case let me know.
Prompt #28: Break Room - If the walls could talk…
