*Thankfully he had sketched it out so that if he were to come back to it later on with someone else his own thoughts would actually make sense.* "Alright, good to know that nothing else will catch fire if it gets triggered" *he quickly writes that down on another part of the page.* "Exactly, i was hoping that all three of us could work together to help her figure out how to enchant items with her demon art, like yushiro does with his papers, or my journal" *he had only just figured out how to enchant an item with his demon art but he knew that Yushiro has been doing so for a while and Tamayo probably even longer* "Ah yours is to help further prevent anyone else trying to sneak in considering who else has their territories nearby...though I don't actually know if they can smell or not, I know they can see and hear so I assume they can smell as well..." *He didn't know if they knew who else had territories nearby besides him but he figured that either they had already figured it out or the hashira had told them. He continued eating*

*Muichiro smiles softly* "it will be good to see Kyojuro actually participating in helping train everyone" *he stands, ready to leave his friends to their rest but pauses by the door, and laughs quietly* "that certainly would be one way to introduce him to everyone" *he said through his laughter before looking at tanjiro curiously* "Eh? You didn't notice Shinobu and Tomioka bickering while I was poking fun at Shinazugawa? I wasn't fully paying attention but i over heard Shinobu mention that Tomioka was supposed to be the one who got him and it was pretty obvious how nervous he was"

Shinobu moves out of the way once his legs and arms are bound. “Thank you Rui.” She grabs the bandit by their ankles and starts to drag them away. “Good idea. We should question them both together before taking them to the police.” She walks to where Kanae and the other bandit are. Zenitsu clings to Shinobu’s leg crying. “Thank you Lady Shinobu!!!” He whines and sniffle. She groans and removes him from her leg before continuing to walk. Lady Tamayo squats down and pet’s Rui’s head. She whispers so that only he can hear her. “You’re doing a great job holding back. I have some food in my room if you would like some?” She smiles at him warmly. Kanae managed to get the other bandit down and to a room by himself. She had the girls stand outside the room and tell Shinobu and Tamayo where they were.

*Rui listens curiously, though he had to admit; imagining going through something like that...it must be scary* "it must be scary huh...?" *he wondered aloud, before swiftly re-directing toward the journal* "Ah actually that would be to prevent the slayers from accidentally tripping on them...the web would function as a base, kind of like a really long candle wick but going sideways since my webs are both really strong and hard to see, ideally it would activate both yours and nezukos demon arts for every demon besides the four of us or our pets." *he explained before humming softly as he thought* "We could probably run it into the trees and bushes as well, assuming nezuko's demon art has either no effect or only positive effects on plants or normal animals..."

*Muichiro chuckled softly and also pat her on the head* "You do bring up a good point.., however given his more timid and soft spoken behavior at least from what i've seen they could balance each-other out. I think you may be correct but that will probably take longer with him all things considered..." *Muichiro winds the ribbon back up and sets it on a nearby dresser as he listens. He had figured that given the younger demon was spider-based he would largely be using webs, but he liked that his friend also thought it would look interesting and smiles softly* "you are probably right, but even if not during the fight I hope he shows them off" *He makes a curious expression* "Ah so that is what those two were talking about earlier..." *he says as he thinks back to the morning before, admittedly he was so distracted poking fun at sanemi and obanai that he had not been paying attention to what giyuu and shinobu had been talking about*

*Rui listened curiously, he was not very familiar with allergies outside of the understanding that it was what happened when your body pretty much tricked itself into thinking it was dangerously sick, he didn't know there was such a thing as temporary allergies. He tilted his head to the side like a confused puppy.* "That can happen? I didn't know about that..." *he wondered if he should be worried but considering that Tamayo and Yushiro were having the tea as well he assumed they had tested it enough to decide it was safe* "I wont..." *he takes a few more bites before pulling his journal from his sleeve, opening it and flipping a few pages until he had gotten to some sketches he had done a few days before. He had given them permission to touch the journal the last time he saw them though he wasn't sure if they remembered* "I was thinking something like this to keep upper four from snooping..." *he suggested pointing to a sketch that looked like an extremely low web fence that had pink flames and the flowers typically seen on tamayo's demon art added to it*

*Muichiro smiles softly as Nezuko plays, jokingly booping her nose with the ribbon* "I must admit I am rather curious to see what he will do, and how the others will react to his assistance" *He pauses as he thinks, almost looking like he had zoned out for a minute before speaking up again* "I might, He is interesting...I am curious as to what his skill set is, Tomioka only saw a couple of his attacks and Shinobu only saw his sisters from my understanding..."

*Rui listens curiously while drinking his "tea" having learned a long time ago that tea was far better warm. Pausing to breath be speaks up once more* "So in theory it could be treated like building up an immunity to poison?" *he asked curiously before taking a few eager bites from the bowl* "hmm mhm" *he answers to the best of his ability while his mouth is full and he is trying not to be rude. He quickly but quietly swallows before speaking again* "Ah, right...I apologize if i am intruding...." *He was used to Yushiro being like this but it still confused him that he was so harsh towards him despite all three of them essentially being in the same boat.* "Ah i've been meaning to ask, would either of you mind assisting me with a few ideas to help keep everyone safe when you have the time?"

*Muichiro is playing with Nezuko by dangling a ribbon he found over her face for her to try to catch* "I overheard Kanae and Rui talking about him helping everyone train...something about practicing dodging attacks and Kyojuro might be helping him" *he explains what he had overheard while passing by* "probably along with using those uniform additions he's been sending out"

*Rui listens curiously, his eyes widening slightly as he listens.* "I see....Do you think that would be possible for that to be figured out?" *he asked hopefully, he didn't want to keep worrying everyone and admittedly he did kind of miss the human foods he had grown up with. He sips from the cup after Tamayo pours the vial into it, doing his best to be patient but at the same time eager to finally get some blood in his system.* "Ah okay, I didn't want to worry them either....I was worried that they were already scared about the break in and didn't want to frighten them too..." *once the bowl of meat is set down he bows his head respectfully* "Thank you yushiro..." *Elsewhere in the butterfly mansion* "Oh yeah, Tanjiro guess what I happened to overhear earlier" *Muichiro says from where he is perched on a chair in the room that had more or less become the kamaboko squads home when they didn't have missions*

*he smiled softly, it was about time that he made friends with other demons as far as he could tell. He was excited to finally have someone to play with* "they are, they like to come over to play a lot" * "playing" in demon terms could mean a few things, actual playing like humans do being only one of them; there was also rough-housing/play-fighting, practicing demon arts or even just hunting together depending on the demon*

"Im the one that handled both of them..." *Rui grumbles before finding a place for him to perch* "I plan to once they get back...hm-?" *He stares at the cup curiously. "Demon safe? How?" He wondered. He was very familiar with tea and he was fairly certain that demons could not drink it as much as they wanted to. He sniffs it hesitantly, wondering if it was one he recognized* "If you don't mind me asking, how so? Did you figure out a way to make human food safe for demons?" *he may as well ask what he had been meaning to while the topic was brought up. He pulls the vial out of his sleeve, he had been fiddling with it but that was largely because he wasn't sure if he was supposed to keep it secret or not* "ah, yes here it is...I wasn't sure if i was supposed to keep it secret or not" *he hands it back curiously before carefully sipping from the cup*

*He allows his face to be held, and slightly squished as he listens. As much as he knew that was true, he still didn't mean to worry anyone...this would definitely take some getting used to, but he was stubborn so he would give it his all.* "alright...i'm gonna do my best.." *he chirps before following behind her as she enters her and yushiro's room. Rui carefully covers his ears as Yushiro shouts in a panic but he was well aware as to why the older boy was so frantic, it had been rather obvious from the first time he watched them interacting. He glanced around, not actually having gotten to look around it yet; before speaking up* "Mhm...also I don't think I'm allowed outside unsupervised to go and get a deer or something either...but I dunno for sure..." *He admits. Though now that he thinks about it, with all of the hashira including mama kanae and most of the other slayers being so busy lately that may be something he will need to arrange...*

*In truth, this reaction was a fair bit of both. The memory that had finally clawed its way to the forefront of his mind was that of what happened the night he had to run away from home, only just after that man, his former doctor broke in to his home to try to hurt him and his family but at the same time mixed with the memory of a random slayer that he couldn't catch up to taking away his adoptive baby sister. He scurries after lady Tamayo, starting to calm down. The caterpillars scampered along between them, not as nervous about the dark because their "tough big brother" was with them to scare the monsters away. While Tamayo is getting the girls their treats Rui carefully checks them over* "You three are okay right? No bruises, scrapes or scratches?" "Mhm" "yep were okay" "all good" *Rui sighs in relief, tenseness falling away and gently pats them on the head* "Alright good" *once they have their treats they scamper off to bed, making sure they lock the windows tightly and then do the same with their bedroom door. Once they are safely in their room Rui gets a sheepish, almost guilty expression on his face* "I'm sorry...It seem's my self control is still a little out of practice...I didn't mean to scare everyone..." *he fidgets with a soft web trying to ignore his quietly growling stomach. He scampers along after her and shyly waves to Yushiro when he spots him* "Hi yushiro...there was a break in but it's handled now..."

"Ah I see, alright, I will go say hello in a bit" *He pouts softly when you do not let him come with you but he accepts the kisses on the head* "Promise?" *he asks, such an innocent request from him even with all that has happened tonight. He was glad that both of you would have each-other for protection but that didn't stop him from worrying for your safety and he had to at-least try. Rui watches as both Kanae and Shinobu leave with the caterpillars tucking themselves against his side to watch as well, and accepts Tamayos head-pats, even if Yushiro might give him grief about it later* "Alright..." "Yes lady tamayo" *despite being a bit sleepy hence the more frequent speaking in unison, the caterpillar girls cheerfully scurry after Tamayo, pulling Rui along behind them who follows them willingly. Thankfully this night is a rather quiet one*

Being worried for his ally's safety was part of what was making him so tense, but the majority of it was him focusing on not letting himself be overwhelmed by both his demon instincts and the memory he could feel trying to claw its way to the forefront of his thoughts.* "Eh? Muichiro is still here?" *He hadn't actually noticed if the youngest of the hashira had left and come back to visit or had just not left yet.* "Alright...You two be safe too please...I can come with you once I talk to Yushiro if you would like..." *He offered. He wanted to be there to help protect them just incase, he knew he would be fine as long as he got a chance to eat first. Especially since they were so close to a certain upper rank's territory...but what if the sun came up? He stood and stepped away from the bandit.*

*A surprised squeak escapes him when the ball of leaves hits him square in the back of the head before he giggles mischievously and after setting down his book he turns to greet you* "Hi Koorogi" *he chirps excitedly*

*could he restrain himself quite well? Yes, he had a lot of practice in his first few years as a demon to avoid getting caught either stalking along the edge of his forest or sneaking off with either of his upper ranked neighbors scraps. Had it been long enough since he had given his self-restraint enough of a workout that he was having a little bit of difficulty keeping an unbothered appearance? Also yes, though it mostly showed through him being a bit more tense than usual and focusing on extending and retracting his claws.* "Fair point...Alright I wish them luck though, these ones were armed and it wouldn't be the first time that bandits have robbed slayers..." *Rui gently leans against her hand as it was helping him calm down a bit. He looked down at the bandit he was perched on, they had stopped trying to wiggle away but they were still breathing... he thought for a moment before speaking up again* "If you three have these two handled I can go let Yushiro know what happened and probably ask him if he could check on Zenitsu..." *Admittedly he would probably visit the kitchen afterwards to see if there was anything he could get into. The caterpillars allowed themselves to be herded away from Rui but they did not appear to be too worried.*
