Krypt prepared to dodge the fist, only for his feet to get swept out from under him the moment he shifted his weight from one foot to another. He landed with a grunt, growling lowly. Before he could get up, he was straddled and found a barrage of punches being thrown into his face.
For a few moments, Krypt allowed Globgor to punch him. He was waiting for the opportunity of a counterattack to arise. The moment it did, he attempted to catch Globgor’s wrists in his hands. If he could do that, he planned to sink his claws into the flesh of the king.
Globgor had left himself vulnerable and stuck with his position. If Krypt was able to restrain the king he would lunge for the size shifter’s neck. He wouldn’t bite down of course, but he would allow his sharp teeth to scrape against the flesh. @globgor-of-mewnie

Krypt followed, of course, taking a fair bit of pride in the compliments his king gave his species. It was all entirely true, but to hear it from another monster, the king of monsters no less, did tickle his hubris to some extent. His species had always been proud, but they had every right to be.  Standing dutifully by his king, Krypt’s eyes scanned over Globgor’s body once the vest was removed, for observational purposes of course. Seth would want to know just how fit their king was, a weak king was one not worth having. He had to admit though, Globgor was quite impressive. His chest was broad, his biceps flawless, and his muscles seemed to ripple with every movement he made. It was quite a sight to behold.  Realizing he had probably been staring for too long, Krypt returned his gaze to Globgor’s face. Oh, his king was talking, he hadn’t even noticed. Thankfully, it didn’t seem like he had missed too much, and whatever he did miss he was able to figure out through simple deduction and context clues.  The vegan thing confused Krypt though, but he chose not to question if for the time being. Globgor was eager for a fight, and it wasn’t something terribly important. Unlike his king, Krypt did not remove his cloak, the letter for Seth still hidden in the inner pockets. The last thing he needed was for one of the other monsters to go messing with his things and find it.  Krypt gave a jaunty grin and took a few steps back, putting some distance between himself and Globgor. “You’re forgetting your highness, I’m not of your kind though. I do appreciate the not eating me though, sounds rather unpleasant.” It was obvious Krypt was joking,  it was kind of strange to see such a stoic septarian make jokes. Taking up a battle stance, Krypt only nodded at Globgor’s rules. Personally, Krypt thought it was foolish to impose a handicap on yourself, but at least it put him at an advantage.  Slowly, he began to circle Globgor, the fins on either side of his head flared wide as he growled lowly with his teeth bared. He was looking for an opening, or for Globgor to come rushing at him first. His King wanted a fight, it was a fight Krypt was going to give him.  @globgor-of-mewnie

Krypt rolled his eye at Bede’s comment, resisting the urge to grab a book from the shelf out of spite. “The books are just books, she’s probably just concerned about the bookshelf itself. The books are perfectly safe. It’s not like the books could crush me under their weight like the shelf could if it fell on me.” He was assuming that Clair was concerned the bookshelf would fall on him. There was no reason for him to suspect the books, they were just normal books. It’s not like anything out of the books could jump out and grab him. Bede’s behavior was so strange to him.  Sighing, Krypt sped up slightly to keep pace with Bede. “Bede, settle down. There’s no reason to worry yourself, there’s nothing here that can hurt you aside from old, rotten wood.”  Despite how strange he found Bede’s behavior, he still seemed concerned for him. “The walls aren’t going to eat us, relax. We’ll find Hania, leave, and nothing is going to happen to us.” Krypt was trying his best to soothe Bede at this point.  He opened the door to the dining room for Bede, catching a glimpse of the inside as he did. His eye lit up at the sight of all old antiques that were in surprisingly good condition. The table was set even, laid exactly where they had been who knows how long ago.  Walking past Bede once the other had entered the room, Krypt began looking over the old chairs and silverware. “This is amazing, these utensils aren’t even the slightest bit tarnished, and these chairs aren’t damaged in the slightest.”  Clair whined as Krypt approached the table, simply trotting behind him. It seemed as though she had given up trying to make him stop messing with things, or this table wasn’t deadly enough to warrant her dragging him away.  What Krypt had failed to notice about the table, was the rotting meat sitting at the other end. Two slimy looking pieces of slimy, putrid meat sat on a pair of plates. It looked as though someone had cut into the meat before leaving it there to rot.

Krypt flushed slightly after he realized what he had been doing. Giving an awkward chuckle, he adjusted his grip on Clair. “Oh sorry, I do that sometimes.” The sound of Bede’s voice was both concerning and confusing. Had he done something wrong? Surely not, he was being mindful of where he stepped and what was above him. He wasn’t doing anything that would put himself in danger, aside from going into the building itself. Krypt had to resist the urge to roll his eyes when Bede told him not to touch anything. Yes, he would avoid touching possibly unstable walls or beams, but not everything in here was out to get them. “Bede, they’re just books,” he gestured to the bookshelf, “they’re not going to hurt me.” The moment Krypt had one arm off of her, Clair slipped out of his grip. Instantly, she was on guard, standing by Krypt defensively. Her eyes darted around nervously and she bared her teeth. A low growl slipped through her clenched teeth as she stared at the bookshelf Krypt was still looking over.   Raising an eyebrow, Krypt turned away from the bookshelf and reached for Clair. “Hey girl, it’s alright.” He finally understood that she wanted him away from the bookshelf, so he obliged and stepped away. Of all people, he knew better than to ignore her warnings.  “See, I’m not near it anymore.” Clair still seemed tense but was no longer growling now that Krypt wasn’t actively scanning the books on the bookshelf. Her eyes still darted back to that bookshelf, like she was seeing something else there. Cautiously stepping forward, she pressed herself against Krypt’s leg, putting herself between him and the bookshelf, even with the distance he had put between it and himself. Sighing and reaching down to pet Clair, Krypt looked back up at Bede. “Alright, let’s go get Hania. Where do you think we should check first?”
By the time he had looked back up, Bede was already walking away. Frowning, he quickly followed after him. “Hold on now, no need to rush.” He too started calling for Hania once he had caught up, though less quietly. Every time he would raise his voice Clair would grimace and continue to look around nervously.
“Oh so they are just books until clair is growling at them right? then it’s not safe and you should leave them be? that’s a little hypocritical..”
Still this wasn’t the time to lecture krypt, He knew it was just a waste of time in a place like this, They just had to find hania and then it’d be fine. They’d find him and leave without incident, it’s all they needed to do, he wasn’t going to just hold on. They were going to rush, He wouldn’t stay here any longer then what was required.
“There is need to rush, We only need to stay as long as it takes to find hania and leave, no longer. As for where to check? anywhere that looks normal and not out of place, don’t touch anything or go into any rooms that seem weird or out of place no matter how curious you might be.”
There was no guaranteeing those were real rooms and not just something pretending to be a room to coax the unwitting person (like krypt-) closer and snatch his soul or something, He made it a point not to touch anything, Skirting to peek between book cases or standing just out of a room to call rather then go inside it if it was really messy.
“If he’s not answering in this area then he’s not here, We can check the dining room and then go up the stairs, There isn’t much else in this area besides those.”

Rising back up to his feet, Krypt kept his eyes trained on the king standing before him. Despite his rigid posture, he did glance out the window out of the corner of his eye, just in case Globgor was looking at something of importance. His wariness of the king would not be forgotten, and forgoing small details could lead to him missing important information.  Still, Krypt nodded curtly at Globgor’s statement about the Mewmans. “Mewmans are strange beings, your highness. One moment they’re calm and passive, the next they’re trying to cut our throats.” A rather sly smirk made its way onto the septarian’s face. “Even so, we both know most of the Mewmans would be dead or cowering in their boots if it weren’t for their queens. Their common folk isn’t exactly the brightest bunch.” The request for a sparring match actually surprised Krypt quite a bit. He knew Globgor was one for a good fight, but going full teeth and claws with a recruit didn’t seem like his cup of tea. Maybe he had misjudged the king on his gumption, either way, he was eager to experience the king’s fighting abilities first hand. It would be something he could add to his report to Seth.  Bowing once again, Krypt gave Globgor a grin. “I would be honored, your highness. There would be no greater pleasure than to show you my strengths first hand. I must warn you though, I’m a scholar, not a trained soldier.  Apologies in advance for my weakness compared to others of my species.”  That was an absolute lie, not the part about him being a scholar, but the fact he wasn’t a trained soldier. Now, he knew himself he had nothing on someone like Seth or the other higher-ups, but that did not mean he was weak by any means.  Giving his tail an eager flick, Krypt righted himself and met Globgor’s gaze. “Lead the way to sparring area, your highness, I will follow you wherever you chose to lead me.”  If nothing else, he was a good actor. It was all apart of the game he played though. He needed Globgor to trust him, and every word he spoke was crucial to that. Despite Krypt’s reservations, he knew their king wasn’t an idiot. He needed to be cautious, lest he give away what he truly was.  @globgor-of-mewnie

@globgor-of-mewnie Krypt sat at his desk in the castle library, carefully composing a letter to his master, a fellow Septarian by the name of Seth. It was his usual report on the current status of the monster king, as well as the current situations going in and around the castle. What wasn’t usual about this report, was the fact he was beginning to question the leadership of Globgor.  The Prince of Darkness had been sneaking out of the castle at night, as well as acting very strange in general. Krypt had attempted to follow him, but his large stature and Globgor’s size-shifting abilities made it impossible to follow the king without detection. For now, all he could do was inform Seth of his concerns and the king’s strange behavior.  Finishing up his report, Krypt placed the letter in an envelope, sealed it, and slipped it into his cloak. It would be sent by raven later; normal letter carriers couldn’t be trusted with his reports to Seth. The thought of someone discovering his true identity was enough to make his grey colored scales prickle.    Letting out a sigh, Krypt curled his long, serpent-like tail around the leg of his chair. It was an old habit he’d picked up as a child and never let go of.  Carefully, he released his long hair from the ponytail he’d been keeping it in. The fins on either side of his neck relaxed as he laminated on just how he got into this position in the monster castle.  Krypt had been sent here to make sure Globgor was a proper king and continued to respect the pact he and Seth had made. Of course, Globgor didn’t know that not even his fellow spies knew that. The only monster who knew why he was truly here was Seth himself. To Globgor and the rest of the kingdom, he was just a poor scholar who the Mewmans had chased from his home. It was best it stayed that way as well, especially considering his recent concerns with their king.  The sound of footfalls caught Krypt’s attention, causing him to uncurl his tail from the chair and his fins to perk up. Turning around in his chair, he caught sight of the individual he had just been thinking of, King Globgor.  Giving a kind smile he stood up and bowed before his king. “Ah, your highness, it’s good to see you again. To what do I owe the pleasure?”

As if to prove his point Clair came trotting up with yet another Buneary for them, which Dusknoir slipped into his satchel along four she had brought them. "Hania's been gone for a while though." Even while the pokemon hunted, bede was foraging, skillfully stripping berries from bushes. Digging out roots with a little shovel and occasionally taking a few leaves off certain plants, Including a mint plant which he now chewed on quite contently, Humming before he nodded.
“I suppose he has been gone a while, Either he’s caught something quite big…unlikely as this forest doesn’t traditionally support bigger creatures or he’s gotten distracted by something, We should probably find him. Especially since sure while dusknoir didn’t believe there was anything about haunting’s or curses or anything else, Bede certainly did as did most of sinnoh’s native inhabitants and seeing Hania would give most a heart attack…

Clair didn’t react to the scratches and kiss, too anxious to enjoy such things. She needed to stop them from going in, they couldn’t go in. When Bede brushed past her she let out a sharp yelp and tried to grab at his clothing, trying to pull him back. Hania would be fine, he was a strong ghost type, one who’s species had the job of dealing with restless souls. She knew Bede had some knowledge of ghosts, but Krypt sure didn’t. Neither did she think either of them was capable enough to defend themselves from hostile spirits.  Once Krypt realized what Clair was doing he pulled her back from Bede and scooped her up. “Hey now, it’s alright. Nothing’s going to happen, girl, I’ll be careful.” He just assumed Clair saw something like a wall or beam collapsing, so he made a mental note to be extra mindful.  Continuing to carry Clair, Krypt followed Bede into the building. Clair thrashed in his arms, but he was expecting it this time and didn’t let her down. Looking around the building his eyes lit up, seemingly not sensing the heavy feeling in the air. “Oh wow, the inside of this place is pretty well preserved considering how long it’s just been sitting here.”  The gleam in Krypt’s eye could be concerning. It was a gleam of curiosity, of interest, of adventure. Those feelings didn’t seem like something to be exercised here. Slipping past Bede and stepping inside, he was still mindful of floors he could fall through or things that could topple over onto him.  Of course, the first thing he went to was the bookshelf, which made Clair start to thrash harder and nearly screech. Readjusting his grip on his pokemon, Krypt was at least smart enough to heed his pokemon’s warning. “Settle down girl, I’m not going to touch it. I’m just amazed at how well preserved these books are. After all this time I would think they would be nothing but dust.” It seemed he was talking to himself as he fawned over the dusty, old books.

The harsh tone didn’t seem to bother Krypt that much, he understood where it was coming from. Grovyle was nervous, anxious about meeting with his old partner again. Said partner who last time had unwittingly left him heartbroken when she didn’t remember him and everything they had been through together. For now, Krypt decided to drop the topic of whether Amber had regained any of her memories of the paralyzed future. He had no idea regarding what the status on that, so he wasn’t going to push it. Letting out a soft sigh and tilting his head slightly so he could look down at Grovyle. “Grovyle, even if she doesn’t remember you, what’s stopping you from making new memories with her? Let yourself enjoy spending time with her, you deserve at least that much. She’s still the same Amber, memories or not.” Chuckling softly, he tried to lighten the mood. “I can assure you of that, even with what little time I spent with them. Her personality sure hadn’t changed from when she was human, at least while I was with them.” He specifically avoided mentioning the paralyzed future, Grovyle didn’t need to worry himself more with those memories.  Despite the anxiety buzzing in the back of his mind, Krypt nodded at Grovyle’s question. “Of course, I just need to make sure I steer clear of the inhabitants of Treasure Town. At this point, I’m more worried about you.” Taking note of how close they were getting to said town, Krypt slipped into Grovyle’s shadow. Getting spotted by someone before they even entered the town was a sure way to cut their visit short, and at this point, Krypt had a feeling Grovyle would take any out he could get. This needed to be done though, that was something Krypt knew without a doubt. He hoped this would turn into his mate reconnecting with his old partner. If nothing else, Krypt hoped it would provide some closure for Grovyle. “We should probably separate now, the last person I want to run into is Amber. I’ll be around, so don’t worry too much. Like I said before though, take your time,” Krypt spoke up from Grovyle’s shadow.
@wanttoshine Krypt couldn’t help but wring his hands nervously as they approached Treasure Town. Despite his nervousness, he was still happy about them taking this trip. It was something he knew Grovyle had been looking forward to for a very long time, seven years to be exact. There was a part of Krypt that questioned why his mate chose to wait so long, but he had a fairly good idea and he worried asking would upset Grovyle. Taking a deep breath, he smiled turned his gaze away from the rising sun, now setting it on the grass type walking beside him. “You know they’re both going to be ecstatic to see you again.” It was true, Raijin and Amber had both seemed to grow very fond of Grovyle despite only being around him for a short while, or remembering being around him in Amber’s case. There wasn’t a single doubt in Krypt’s mind concerning the warm welcome Grovyle would receive. His own welcome, well he tried not to think about that. He hoped there would be no welcome for him.  It was Krypt’s plan to stay as far away from Treasure Town’s inhabitants, while still staying close enough in case Grovyle needed him. Hiding out in one of the more secluded areas of the exploration town wouldn’t be too hard. With his ability to slip in and out of shadows there was very little chance of him being seen anyway. Still, anxiety nagged in the back of his mind, no matter how little of a chance there was of him being seen. They were getting close enough, so much so they could both see the crossroads. “Don’t rush with your visit okay? I’ll be alright, and I’m sure you, Amber, and Raijin all need time to catch up.” Krypt grew silent for a few moments before he spoke up again, “Even if she still doesn’t remember you, you spending more time with her may help to bring those lost memories back.” Amber’s memory loss was something that Krypt new still bothered Grovyle, and he couldn’t blame him. Those two had been near inseparable during the paralyzed future, to have their bond suddenly erased had to be heartbreaking for his mate. To have Amber look at him like a stranger was no doubt painful, but Krypt was proud of Grovyle for still wanting to spend time with her.

Krypt winced, realizing just how much he had upset Bede. He never had been one for social tactfulness, which had to be glaringly apparent to Bede now. Apparently also couldn’t take a hint, considering he still spoke up, if only briefly. “I’m sorry if I upset you, Bede.” At least he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut for the remainder of their walk. There were a few times he wanted to speak up, to apologize again, to reassure Bede he did believe in an afterlife, to tell Bede they weren’t too different regarding their lack of family. Thinking better of it, he just pets the still spaced out Clair that he now carried. It was a conversation for later, when they were home, Bede had cooled down, and he could properly apologize.  Krypt was thankful for the fact no one wanted to battle. Hemlock, Zale, and Cobalt were both still out hunting, the others were back at Bede’s place. The only pokemon he had with him right now was Clair, who wasn’t in any shape to battle considering she was still out of it.  It wasn’t until Dusknoir had stepped over the tree, and Bede had called Hania that Clair jolted out of her stupor. Her first action was to look around, as soon as she saw the run-down mansion, she started struggling in Krypt’s grip and started letting out distressed chirps and chatters.  Letting out a grunt, Krypt had no choice but to set the struggling Absol down onto the ground, lest he drop her. “Clair, what’s wrong?”  The moment her paws hit the ground, Clair bolted forward and put herself in between Bede and the entrance to the chateau. She growled in warning, hoping it would make the man before her back away.

The memory of holding Bede’s entrails in his hands made Krypt grimace. He could remember the terror in the man’s eyes, and the sick feeling of dread he had at the time. That whole experience had been the setting for many nightmares. Not just for what happened to Bede, but also what had happened with that Garchomp. Sometimes he swore he could still feel the slash that had taken out his eye. Even now, he was still terrified of Garchomps and any of the line.  Shaking his head to force those unpleasant memories away, Krypt averted his gaze from Bede. “Honestly, no I wouldn’t want my lost loved ones to be stuck here. I like to think they’re someplace better than this, and don’t have to worry about this place anymore.”  Forcing a chuckle he shrugged. “If they did stick around, I’d probably be haunted rather than watched over.” All forced joy seemed to fade at the mention of the nickname of this place. Krypt didn’t speak Russian, but he’s worked in Sinnoh before. In fact, he had come to a job in Eterna city before, so he knew of the stories. Suicide was always an unpleasant topic, one he hated discussing.  It wasn’t until Bede started walking away that he spoke.  He followed, but not before scooping up the still catatonic Clair. “I know of the deaths here. It’s a popular place for people to end their lives, but I don’t believe in ghosts. So, why would I believe their spirits decide to stay here? If anything, I should hope they wouldn’t stay here. ”  Taking note of where they were going, Krypt did his best to remain respectful as he spoke. He may not believe in ghosts, but he still respected the dead.  “I hope you’re not implying it’s the forest that influenced those people to do what they did. The reason this place is such a popular place for…..that, is sort of like the local legend thing.”

Despite being nice, A roaming dusknoir in these woods will scare most if not anyone.”
Especially since sure while dusknoir didn’t believe there was anything about haunting’s or curses or anything else, Bede certainly did as did most of sinnoh’s native inhabitants and seeing Hania would give most a heart attack…
“i wouldn’t be surprised if he was drawn to the old chateau. It’s a mansion that was abandoned ages ago, It’s near the entrance to eterna city.”

Krypt raised his brow slightly at the statement Sinnohans weren’t superstitious about ghost types, especially the Dusknoir line. He decided against saying anything though, not wanting to upset Bede. He himself held a fair bit of doubt on the concept of the Dusknoir line being what was essentially grim reapers. To believe that would mean he would also have to believe that spirits could exist in the same plane of existence as the living. That wasn’t to say he didn’t believe in an afterlife, but the concept of spirits and ghosts roaming around just seemed ridiculous to him.  Bede’s seriousness concerned Krypt a fair bit, then he saw Clair’s tense form and distant expression and realized where it came from. While he may not believe in ghosts or grim reapers, he surely believed that absols could detect disasters. He had seen it too many times with Clair for it to not be legitimate.  Kneeling down, Krypt pet Clair’s fur knowing how distressed she normally was when coming out of visions. He remained silent all through Bede’s explanation about the Old Chateau but spoke up once he was done. “Bede you can’t honestly tell me you believe in ghosts and curses.”  Letting out a soft sigh once the sign was uncovered, Krypt stood back up but kept a hand on Clair’s head. “I’m not saying the original deaths didn’t happen, but I highly doubt the land is cursed. I’ve seen it countless times; a family dies an untimely death, rumors start to circulate, and through those rumors and hearsay stories of more death and curses are created. It’s how a lot of local legends are formed.”
🐗-Dusknoir hummed a soft tune as he walked through the woods with Bede. Their pokemon were out hunting for the day, and he was happy to be out of the house for a while. Glancing at Bede, he chuckled. "You know, I'm pretty sure Clair and Hania have made a contest of this by this point." As if to prove his point Clair came trotting up with yet another Buneary for them, which Dusknoir slipped into his satchel along four she had brought them. "Hania's been gone for a while though." Krypt seemed content with the slow pace they were taking as they walked through the forest. He was enjoying the scenery around them, even if it was still a little too chilly for his liking. There were even a few times he helped Bede to gather whatever he had found to forage.  Giving a soft nod, Krypt stuck his hands in his pockets. “ Hania wouldn’t ever hurt anyone, but I know he would probably try and greet anyone he happened to meet in here.”  Stopping for a moment, he couldn’t help but chuckle. “I would feel rather bad if Hania scared anyone. I’m sure he would too if he happened to meet anyone, knowing how Sinnoh natives tend to be rather superstitious, especially about ghost types.” The name Old Chateau caught his attention, Krypt vaguely remembered a colleague of his, that was a Sinnoh native, mentioning it. “We should probably head there now then, that’s probably a high traffic area if it’s so close to the city.” It seemed the mention of the Old Chateau caught Clair’s attention too, as she suddenly froze and got a thousand yard stare. It seemed Krypt hadn’t noticed the absol’s strange behavior, that or he was used to it.  Tilting his head slightly, Krypt steadied his gaze on Bede. “Why do you think he would head there specifically though?”

Dusknoir didn’t need to be told twice, he hated the cold in the first place. The thought of getting stuck to a chair only served to reaffirm that fact. He nodded and stuck his hands in his pockets. “I’ll take your word for it. I’ll also have to be sure Hemlock and Clair don’t get stuck to anything either.”
While Dusknoir was hesitant about the suggestion of going meet Bede’s neighbor’s, he knew that he couldn’t just tell Bede no. It would come off as strange, and maybe even a little rude. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to meet them because he didn’t care for them, it was more his own social awkwardness when it came to meeting new people. Bede knew and cared about these people if he messed up then it could damage his relationship with Bede. Steeling his nerves, Dusknoir nodded. There really was no getting out of this. “If you would like to, sure. I wouldn’t mind. I’m sure I’ll get along with him just fine, there’s no need to worry.” That was a bold-faced lie on his part because now he was very worried, but he knew that he couldn’t avoid meeting Bede’s neighbors forever. Clair gave Dusknoir a rather strange look, but before she could do anything her master was heading back into his bedroom. “I’ll be right back, just let me get my coat back on.” Letting out a huff, Clair flopped herself down where Dusknoir had just been sitting and stuck her tongue out. She didn’t have to wait long before Dusknoir came back out decked out in his winter gear and carrying a small bag. He gave a soft whistle and motioned for Hemlock and Clair to come, to which both of them did without complaint. Giving Bede one last smile, he closed the patio door behind him and set to work on brushing the two furry pokemon out.
“You can sit on the balcony, But as you may know, It’s cold so wear your stuff out. Otherwise you will probably get stuck to one of those chairs and while a hilarious story to tell, i don’t know if you’d enjoy me trying to get you unstuck.”
He meant this mostly in the case of the other freezing to it if he went out in the clothes he currently had on, Cause one could trust it was a lot colder outside then it was in the little apartment. Besides it wouldn’t be the first time he’d had someone stuck to those chairs, Well not a person, A pokemon. But still, Same concept.
“Also, we can meet them after dinner then how about? They are mostly old so most often they are awake at night anyway, Because you’d be fond of them i’m sure! at least most of them, Harmon might be less pleasant a meeting but that’s cause he’s a grump.”

Dusknoir listened intently to Bede, unsure of how to respond to his comment. Bede stated he believed in ghosts and the paranormal, but his statement made Dusknoir wonder what his opinion on arceus was. It had always been a concept that he himself had found interesting, the possibility that humans were created by a pokemon.  That and the idea of the creation trio also interested him.  At the suggestion about going visit the neighbors, Dusknoir hesitated. He wasn’t an overly social person, taking more comfort in the presence of a few specific people then going out there and trying to meet more. He had always been an introvert, and he wasn’t sure how the people here would take to him. Dusknoir quickly tried to come up with a reason aside from just saying he wasn’t comfortable.  “I think I’ll visit them later. Right now, I should probably brush out Hemlock and Clair’s fur so they don’t start shedding everywhere. Would you mind if I went go and sit on your balcony to do that? I wouldn’t want to get fur all over your living room.” Dusknoir gave Bede a small smile, hoping he wouldn’t catch on to the fact he was just too socially awkward to want to go meet new people.
“Mhm, because we’re more isolated then the word isolated can tell, though i suppose it’s also because history books stated this is The origin place of arceus so long ago at worlds creation, That’s all i can really consider in that way though, Otherwise i’d seem a bit preachy.”
A hum even as he glanced at clair, A giggle as he reached down to pet her for a moment, Oh he knew about clever pokemon. Especially ones like clair, Which is why all his cabinets had pretty secure child locks on them because pokemon were like children and many of them lacked hands to open said locks.
“Well i’m glad it doesn’t bother ya, now go on, you can go socialize ya self with some of Mm’ neighbors maybe or their pokemon, Wouldn’ want ya to be bored while and cook. And before you ask, no i don’t need any help cooking.”
