Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Royal Step!
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Royal Step if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of UAE.
Important: These terms and conditions demonstrate your agreement with Royal Step. By obtaining services from Royal Step, you get bound by these terms that ultimately affect your obligations and legal rights.
Service Terms and Policy
All original warranty will be void after the repair is done.
Need to provide Emirates ID / passport during pickup and delivery to make sure it is the same customer.
Waterproof/ water resistant functionalities will be disabled when the watch is open.
1-week exchange on a faulty product with proof of purchase.
No warranty on items that have already fixed.
Service refund – In case the product is still not working or broken after the service is completed and Minutes technicians cannot repair the product, the service spare parts amount will be refunded.
In case the repaired product does not work during the warranty period, Minutes will repair the fault free of charge.
Other service refunds will be on a case to case basis upon investigation.
Online order related issues need to be deal with RS Computer’ online team.
RS Computer outlets won’t accept any product or services done through online.
RS Computer will allocate pickup and delivery times upon availability.
Customers are requested to raise a ticket through the online system or contact RS Computer.
Data Collection
We may collect some personal information from customers for contact purposes. This information includes name, contact number, email address, and location. Other than this, we might require images with the consent of customers to use them on our social media channels for showcase purposes. Our customers have complete control over their data. If a customer wants, we can remove their data from our database and social media channels.
Product Terms and Policy
The customer can exchange within 7 days after delivery on faulty or damage products with proof of purchase.
 
The exchange can be done only if the product is damage during delivery or manufacturing defects upon management approval.
Need to provide Emirates ID / passport during delivery to make sure it is the same customer.
The exchange can be done for the same item, value or above.
If the product is out of stock after purchase the amount will be refunded.
Customers are requested to raise a ticket through the online system or contact RS Computer
Data Protection and Privacy
Royal Step respects the customer’s rights and privacy. We believe in protecting the personal information of customers by all means. By taking into consideration the enhanced privacy policies and laws, customer information remains unharmed. We comply with our stringent internal policies of data protection and privacy.
Warranty
Royal Step provides a warranty to the customers for the spare parts used in the repair work. The warranty will be applicable to the spares for which the customer paid and will not apply if:
The complaint does not relate to the spare part/parts that is/are replaced.
The customer already knew about the device’s history of liquid damage before repair.
The damage to the device occurs after the repair. The damage could be any sort of mishandling such as cracks, dents, or bends.
The device is repaired by any other service provider other than Royal Step.
Liability to Modification of Terms and Conditions
Royal Step could change the terms and conditions at any time. On any change, it will notify all its customers by posting the changes on the website. The company ash the right to change the services with or without notifying its customers. Royal Step is liable to make edits, updates, or changes to the terms and conditions at any time. To keep updated, customers should periodically visit the website for recent updates in the agreements.
Customer’s Responsibility to Backup Data
Customer agrees that prior to RS Computer servicing any Customer equipment it is Customer’s responsibility to (1) back up the data, software, information, or other files stored on Customer’s computer disk drives, peripherals, phone and/or on any other electronic storage device; and (2) remove all videotapes, compact disks, floppy disks, laser disks, cassettes, DVDs, film, or other media from the Customer’s product. RS Computer shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, disclosure, alteration, or corruption of any data, software, information, files, videotapes, compact disks, floppy disks, laser disks, cassettes, DVDs, film, or other media.
Idemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RS Computer (and its affiliates and
their respective officers, directors, employees and agents) from and against any and all losses,
costs, obligations, liabilities, damages, actions, suits, causes of action, claims, demands, liens,
encumbrances, security interests, settlements, judgments, and other expenses, (including but not limited to cost of defense, settlement, and reasonable attorneys’ fees) of whatever type or nature, including, but not limited to, damage or destruction to property, injury (including death) to any person or persons, which are asserted against, incurred, imposed upon or suffered by them by reason of, or arising from: (a) Customer’s breach of this Agreement; (b) Customer’s actual or
alleged infringement of any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or other property or
contract right of any other person; (c) Customer’s actual or alleged failure to promptly pay sums
due Minutes (d) Customer’s failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations or ordinances; or
(e) the acts or omissions of Customer (or its officers, directors, employees or agents).
Policies and Laws
Royal Step is registered in UAE. The service policies and terms are governed by and constituted in accordance with the laws of Dubai excluding its conflict of law provisions.
You must not:
Republish material from Royal Step
Sell, rent, or sub-license material from Royal Step
Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Royal Step
Redistribute content from Royal Step
Variation of Terms
Royal Step is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Royal Step and you in relation to your use of this Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Damage Liability
If the device gets damaged in some unforeseen circumstances, for example, accidents, Royal Step will not be responsible for any loss.
Service Inspection Fee
The customer will be charged an initial inspection fee of AED 25 to be paid by the customer during the time of booking the service / services, the amount will be deducted from the final total quotation / invoice amount.
Service Cancellation Policy
Customer will be charged AED 25 if the cancellation is after the product has been picked up. Full-service fees will be applicable if the repair/ service has been completed. Request to cancel the service will not be permitted on the scheduled day of product pickup. Any service cancellation request before the scheduled day of product pickup has to be made by the customer by contacting RS Computer.
Pickup and Delivery Charges
A standard AED 10 amount will be charge for pickup and delivery. Pickup and delivery timings are:
10:30 – 2:30 pm
3:30 – 6:30 pm
Sunday
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Saturday
No pickup or delivery will be made on Friday and any order placed on Friday will be processed
the next working day.
Mobile Repair Service Warranty Terms and Conditions
Items covered under One-month warranty:
1. Blackberry LCDs
2. LG LCDs
3. Sony LCDs
4. HTC LCDs
5. iPhone LCDs - iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR
6. Spare parts for all brands, such as charging flex cable, camera module, sim socket/reader,
7. Power and volume buttons, speaker/ringer
Items covered under Two-months warranty:
1. iPhone LCDs - Touch screen on the following models - iPhone 6 to 8+
Items covered under seven-day warranty:            
1. Apple iPad LCDs and touch glass (protective sticker on the touch glass must not be
removed.)
2. All mobile, tablet and computer batteries.
   ** Warranty is based on manufacturing defect.
Items not covered under warranty:                 
1. Samsung LCDs and touch glass.
Warranty is void in below situations:       
Physical defects or scratches caused by rough handling, accident, natural disaster, humidity, internal damage and extreme thermal or environmental conditions or rapid changes in such conditions, corrosion, oxidation, rust, gradual deterioration due to wear and tear, cosmetic modification, drop damage, liquid damage.
 
Failure to provide proof of service invoice or confirmation paper.
Uncollected Products
If a customer does not claim his/her product within 30days of being contacted by RS Computer
with an evaluation or after the product has been fixed and the customer has been informed of the same, they reserve the right to dispose of the device without being held liable or responsible. They will make attempts to contact the customer via call, SMS, or email. If repeated attempts to do so have been unsuccessful they will discard the product. By using their service and therein accepting these terms, the customer forfeits his right to claim the product and or damages after the stipulated 30-day notice period. No refund on the service or value of the product will be made after the notice period.
Employee Verification
If an employee/laborer has come to your home/office/workplace to provide repair services, verify the employee’s identity through the website. The company will not take any responsibility for employees for fraud/robbery/stealing or in case of your sensitive data loss.
Employee Confirmation
If any employee comes to your doorstep to pick or deliver your device, verify the identity of the employee through our website. The company will not be responsible for any fraudulent identity or terminated employee.
Receipt Collection
Collect the receipt from our employee when he comes to pick or deliver the device. Royal Step will not be responsible for any claim without the receipt.
Limitations
The experts from Royal Step work their level best to provide guaranteed services. However, in some critical issues, especially when it comes to the repairing of liquid or physically damaged devices, the performance or functionality is not guaranteed. In any such cases, Royal Step will not be liable for the failure or malfunctioning of the device.
Office Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned Countries
RS Computer will not trade with or provide any services to individuals and companies owned or controlled by or acting for or on behalf of, OFAC targeted countries AND individuals, groups, and entities, such as terrorists and narcotics traffickers designated under the OFAC programs that are not country specific.
Representations by You
By visiting the Site, you represent, warrant and covenant that (a) you are at least 18 years of age;
(b) that all materials of any kind submitted by you to RS Computer through the Site or for inclusion on the Site will not plagiarize, violate or infringe upon the rights of any third-party including trade secret, copyright, trademark, trade dress, privacy, patent, or other personal or proprietary rights. The customer using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.
Permitted Use
You agree that you are only authorized to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages of this Site for your own personal use, that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this Site for any purpose other than for personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorized by RS Computer to do so. You also agree not to deep link to the site for any purpose, unless specifically authorized by RS Computer to do so. The content and software on this Site is the property of RS Computer. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and policies and rules.
Limitation of Liability
RS Computer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from the use or the inability to use the service or for cost of procurement of substitute goods and services or resulting from any goods or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through the service or resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of customer’s transmissions or data, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if RS Computer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages o some of the above limitations may not apply to each customer.
Applicable Law
The Laws of the United Arab Emirates shall govern the use of the Site and the Terms of Use, without regards to conflict of laws principals. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in the U.A.E.
Cookies
We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Royal Step, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with Royal Step's Privacy Policy.
Your Account
If you use the RS Computer Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account from any devices, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. The Site shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, in any way for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of, or in connection with, your failure to comply with this section.
No Commercial Use
This Site may not be used by you for any commercial purposes such as to conduct sales of merchandise or services of any kind. You must obtain RS Computer prior written consent to make commercial offers of any kind on the Site, whether by advertising, solicitations, links, or any other form of communication. The company will investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the Site and barring such violators from use of the Site.
Copyright Policy
RS Computer may terminate the privileges of any user who uses this Site to unlawfully transmit copyrighted material without a license, express consent, valid defense or fair use exemption to do so. If you submit information to this Site, you warrant that the information does not infringe the copyrights or other rights of third parties.
Intellectual Property
Although RS Computer is not responsible for the content, quality or accuracy of data provided by users, compilations of such data, text, information and other materials made available to users through their system. The On-line Materials are RS Computer intellectual property and are protected by U.A.E. and international intellectual property laws as stated in the [ENTER ARTICLE NO.]. The On-line Materials may not be copied or redistributed either in whole or in part without the prior written consent of the company, except as expressly and specifically permitted under these Terms of Use.
The On-line Materials are and will remain the exclusive property of RS Computer. All rights, titles, and interests in and to the On-line Materials will be and remain vested solely in RS Computer. Under no circumstances will you have any right, directly or indirectly, to own, use, copy, loan, sell, rent, lease, license, sublicense, redistribute, assign or otherwise convey the Online Materials, or any rights thereto, except as expressly and specifically provided in the Terms of Use. Nothing in these Terms of Use will convey to you any right, title or interest, except that of a license with the express rights and subject to all limitations herein. Nothing in these Terms of Use grants you the right, directly or indirectly, to use the On-line Materials to create a product for resale or to use the Online Materials in any way that competes with the company.
Device Collection
Customers will be contacted by service representatives when the repair work will be completed. You will be able to collect the device back within 60 days of repair. Royal Step will hold the right to dispose of the device if not collected within this time period.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions of Royal Step, you are authorizing us to repair your device or machine. Royal Step is not an Authorized Service Provider (ASP) of any device such as mobile phone, laptop, or tablet. In all cases, the warranty of the device given by the manufacturer might get affected by the repairs. We always advise customers to back up the system before repair. The company will not be responsible for the lost data.
Severability
If any provision of the Terms of Use is held to be invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall nevertheless continue in full force and effect.
