how do you get the lineart to be different colors? I’m trying to do that and honestly struggling a lot

also I love your art so much it looks so tasty I’m going to eat it

I would suggest either using a clipping layer or setting a transparency lock on your lineart layer! I use Clip Studio Paint which comes with both features and it really does help a lot. Vector Layers can also be used this way but I find it tends to be tricky to get the lines to layer properly for coloring.

Clipping Layer: Allows you to color above the previous layer while keeping the color in tact beneath. Useful for experimenting with and erasing the colors while keeping 100% of the original lineart color

Transparency Lock: Allows you to color on the same layer but ONLY affect non transparent pixels. Does not however preserve the color of the original lines. Be careful of erasing however, since this WILL erase the lineart you've done.

Vector Layer: A specialized layer for drawing resizable lines and shapes that won't be affected by pixelation or blurring. Each stroke done on a vector layer reads as it's own individual line and can be colored individually with the object operation tool. Like I said, however, it can be tricky because of how the lines layer. It can however be combined with either of the other two layer coloring methods. You can also control the width of each individual line for smoother weight transitions with this layer type.

I personally like to color most of my lineart with the soft airbrush, since I don't have to worry about being as neat and tidy about color placement, while giving my lineart a softer feel.

Affectionately titled Cozy Snow-hiker and Royal Ice-skater respectively. Though again, trying to work on actual names as well but these two have been friends for quite some time, with Royal Ice-skater really looking up to Cozy Snow-hiker, figuratively and literally-

fuck palworld fuck pocketpair and anything said ab the designer they hired i do take back knowing she did not WANT to and often REFUSED to copy designs but had his pay docked when she didn't, and still had her designs changed anyway. I don't trust anything coming out of pocketpair's current leadership on how much they know about the current suit. But I hope the designer gets a fairer shot elsewhere at the very least.

There are literally so many other interesting creature collector style games that people just won't give a genuine shot. nexomon, temtems, and cassette beasts come to mind. I personally want to try out temtems if given the chance because i followed the designers work back when they were still mostly fakemon designs. Palworld does NOT need to be the hill to die on when it comes to "beating nintendo at their own game"

another underappreciated tumblr feature that you dont get on other sites is the queue. i love it when something i thought was funny six months ago and then forgot about a week later crawlts its way out of the processing vortex and i get to see it all over again.

The first of at least 2 Sky Kid designs I've been planning on making for like ever now.

Hailing from the Valley of Triumph, They've got more than an over active imagination, appointing and believing themself to be a prince, using a golden paper boat as a "crown".

I really love the aesthetic of the theater troupe's outfits, they're so fluffy and fit so well with the other fluffier accessories like the cat hair and the fur collar.

Another character I'd been planning on making for the extended archivist/collector/immortals story line. I was originally going to make an Apollo-Artemis based duo but decided otherwise, and incorporated some moon/lunar related imagery in his design alongside the sun motif. Apollo would have been Icarus' caretaker, but due to certain circumstances, he was never made aware of the kid's existence. Being a devoted worshiper of Andros, he would eventually learn about Icarus, even offering a seat in his own ranks as a learning opportunity for him.
