Pre-Mechanisation Anastasia Nikolaevna Romonova Nastya Rasputina

A little backstory for this drawing and why I chose to draw her this way: I imagine that prior to her death and subsequent mechanisation, Nastya looked much different than how we see her, seeing as in the singular recording of "Cyberian Demons" she talks to Alyoshka about how she wishes she was able to do the things her brothers are allowed to, such as learning all the programming languages and "doing things boys are allowed to" suggesting that the Cyberian royal family followed more conventional gender roles in a way, which would in turn mean that she would present in a more traditionally feminine way, likely with much longer hair and a more overtly feminine way of dressing. I believe that after her death, when she took on the identity of Nastya Rasputina, she would have cut all ties to that past version of herself, and a very common way of doing that is by cutting your hair and changing your appearance. This photo is based around the idea of photos that would have been taken of her family, and while the Cyberians within the actual canon do have much higher technology than that of the era I am referencing, I like to believe that this may be what the photos looked like after years of file corruption and destruction of the original copies over the centuries past since the revolution, and perhaps it is the last remaining photo of Nastya before she met Carmilla. Her outfit is inspired by the actual Anastasia Romonov's dress in certain pictures, though with her crown especially I took some creative liberties. The drawing itself is inspired by a photo of an actress(?) or someone of the sort that is either from the 19th century/possibly early 20th century or was inspired by it, that I found to be really gorgeous and liked the look of the whole colours, pose, etc.

Honestly I think her face turned out really well and actually resembles her actor, but her hair is janky as hell because I hate drawing hair with a burning passion so I couldn't care less what the hair I draw looks like.

So I took the "No take only throw" meme template and drew Daisy as a german shepherd (cause police dog) with scars (cause serial killer) while Basira off screen yells at her to put Jon down.
