The Wolf has really bad trust issues, stemming from the large amount of time he spent away from his family/brother when he was a child. He's reluctant to trust anyone who he doesn't know very well.

The Piper has the word "Hexe" carved into his back from a torture session a couple of centuries ago. Because he doesn't age, the word hasn't gone away.

If the Piper wanted to, he could use his pipe to make himself or the Wolf older, or start their aging back up again.

Both of them are alcoholics, the Wolf more so than the Piper.

He had grown silent listening to her words. Seduced? Bothered? Yearned for affection? He felt a lump of guilt form in his throat, and when he parted his lips to give an apology, she presented a paper to him. Furrowing his brow again, he took it, and he was enchanted by the words to say the least. His guilty gazed numbed into an inquisitive one for a few moments before it returned to its previous state. The lump in his throat became even more painful as the words slowly sank in, and once he was done reading it, he gazed at her with regretful crimson orbs.

"I...I'm so sorry..."
