“josie, you better not be trying to deflect the blame on me for speeding in the first place. that was all you, speed demon,” jax rolls his eyes a little, slouching down in the wooden chair. “the responsibility for sitting in this police station - that’s all me,” he quiets for a moment taking in the rows of chairs around them. “i really thought he would laugh and find it funny and let you go with a warning...” he says after a few moments of silence between them.

sera shakes her head a little, looking into hayes’ eyes for a long moment. “no, no. that’s gotta just be one of the alarms going off in the lobby,” she says softly. gently putting a hand on his chest, she lets it drift to his neck before leaning back in to kiss him again. after another few minutes the alarm was harder to ignore. “maybe we should go back to your dorm,” she laughs a little, gently running her thumb over his bottom lip before sliding her hand down his arm to take his hand.

violet had just been messing around. she’d slipped on a few accessories of jb’s and was flaunting around the dorm room with them on, mocking him a little bit. he was always so chill, but also serious. it had all been a great big laugh until the throw pillow she’d been using to fight him off had gone right through the window of their dorm common area. violet’s eyes widened a little as she slowly removed jb’s items. she had never been a rule breaker or a trouble maker and she certainly didn’t want to be seen as one now, here at school. “well, what are we going to do? do you know any of the janitors by name?” she asks, swallowing hard.

DENINA WASN’T OBLIVIOUS to the effect she had on people just based on her appearance. it was one of the reasons why her confidence was so high , she knew how people saw her. and beauty was just as powerful as strength when it came to her previous profession ( she could could have the guiltiest snakes within her grasp singing like a canary with only batted lashes and a little lace ).  she just never expected for a reaction to be as blatant as the figure in front of her had just displayed. “  is everyone in this school as forward as you ?  ” she was teasing , leaning on her desk as she settled her suspicions with one lean leg peaking out of her pencil skirt to cross over the other. “   I guess if you’re going to stand around and utter compliments , you might as well tell me your name.  ”

HE WASN’T ONE for smart commentary , but once you’ve lived as long as raphael has , you sort of become accustom to it since it seemed to be a common reflex among those who weren’t keen on familiarity with him. he was a vampire and he was damn hard to kill. that alone was enough to fuel his ego to be arguably one the worst in existence , though he was choosing to let all his negative energy be fueled elsewhere. for later , he told himself. and while it would have been nothing for him to knock all the books down in the other’s hand , raphael decided on word play and continued to wait while the other struggled. “ I could also remove you to make this process easier on the both of us. ” he answered back smoothly , eyeing the books over briefly.  it wasn’t exactly a threat , but it certainly could be. “ shouldn’t someone be helping you ? “ honestly , anyone could have done this faster , he’s sure of it. 

beau’s eyes widened a little at the remark, more surprised than anything that he’d actually said that. but he figured, you weren’t the type of guy who owned a nightclub without being a little ruthless. “i--i,” spencer attempted to think of something clever to say, but he’d only think of something worthy hours later when this replayed in his head as he ate dinner. “i’m managing just fine on my own,” he says finally. tilting the books to glance at his gold and leather watch, he says, “i’m right on time, actually,” he nods, tilting his head a little back and forth for a moment as his schedule flashed through his mind. “yep, no need to rush,” he nods with a small, innocent, smile. anyone else might have found him adorable, but to raphael, it was probably every bit of annoying as his slowness was.
