I might have already posted these but that’s ok. Here’s my take on their hands :]

the way the hands are held are slightly different. John’s fingers are straighter while Arthur’s are splayed out. I imagine john’s mannerisms are more direct/sharp than arthur’s

the shapes themselves are slightly different. I didn’t execute it very well though. john is sharp squares and arthur is soft triangles, so you can see those shapes reflected in the fingertips

the coloration on john’s hand is more ashy/desaturated. Slightly more yellow shifted too, but you can’t tell

i’ve been struggling to figure out how to draw John’s pinky for a WHILE. i’m still not skilled enough to have it be layered under the meat of the hand’s skin like how it’s described in the podcast, but this is good enough. I mirrored its roots with the tendon of his hand

arthur’s knuckles are more fucked up since obviously he’s the one doing most of the violence lol. I think if you turned their hands around, arthur’s palm would have more scars too

john’s nails are longer because he does less with his hand and is less likely to break his nails

both have freckles obviously, but john has a few eensy gold ones too

i still haven’t figured out how to draw the bite on john’s hand. I’m working on it. The fact i can’t look up ref images bcz ill get sick vs the fact i want to draw nasty wounds
