“ Ugh , Anderson is DEAD okay ? I’m taking his primetime spot in the next couple of months . Literally always going on and on about the same thing , no one cares about the fluffy vanilla shit . They wanna hear about the real FUCKING deal . “ The anchor spewed to her assistant , her heeled Jimmy Choo’s clicking against the concrete walkway towards the doors of the Time Warner building . “ We need to start going out on the streets more — doing more interviews with REAL people . Not these ... wannabe assholes in suits who sit in front of a green screen all day . Mm ... watch this — this is the vibe I’m going for . “ Rosa handed over her coffee to the assistant , checking her surroundings ; observing the sea of passing people . “ Ah ... you ! “ She clicked over to the other , waving her hand . “ What are your thoughts on crime in New York ? Do you think our government is doing their best to protect us ? “ Yeah , she may have a cousin in the FUCKING cartel , but she’s gonna have to continue to play the part of ‘ just a journalist , chasing a story ‘ .

niklausrobitaille:
Open Location Bar
Niklaus had just gotten off a long day at work, and his two options were go home and watch Netflix with a bottle of wine or go to the bar and get a drink and attempt to meet some people, so he chose going out. Niklaus glanced down at his phone as it rung again, groaning audibly as he rejected the call, stuffing it into his purse this time. “Sorry, where were we?” He smiled, his voice pleasant, flirtatious, his smile matching perfectly with a sweet confidence before he brought his drink to his lips, tongue swirling to find the straw.

Rosalind had spent the majority of the day working — if she was not sitting in front of a camera & a green screen , she was researching . Despite popular opinion , she actually does do her own research whether it’s out in the world or behind a computer screen , that woman makes sure her sources are top - notch . Shit , it makes her stand out . A night at the bar seemed like an excellent way to wind down . Originally with the intention to meet an old friend , she eventually made her way to the bar alone while she waited for her company . But ... it seems as though someone else has sucked up her attention for the time being . “ We were — “ She began , swirling the cherry stem in her craft cocktail . “ — At the part where you buy me another drink . “

status : closed for @beaquintero location : rosa’s apartment time : around 9pm
Family or not , there was no way in HELL Rosa was going to be seen out and open in public with someone as the likes of Beatriz Quinteiro . The crowd that woman runs with is a crowd that Rosa would rather not wrap herself into . But as mentioned before , Bea was family and she would protect her family - even if that means turning a blind eye to whatever shit the cartel were stirring up in the city . She was rather resourceful , they both were . And whenever Rosa had managed to hear a murmur from law enforcement , she was always dropping a coy heads up to her cousin . Opening a fresh bottle of scotch to share between the both of them , Rosa pulled two crystal flutes out of the cabinet ; a chunk of ice in each cup . “ Prefer your whiskey neat these days or do I need to add a splash of Simply Peach in there for you ? “
