Hello if you've been looking through the liar uncover the truth tags, you may have heard of some discord servers currently working on archiving Liar before it shuts down November 30th. I'm a part of those servers and I'm reaching out to tumblr to see if anyone has what we've got left

Common Reasons for Being Unable to Archive That I'm Just Gonna Get Out of the Way Rn

I can't get audio on the recordings

not a high priority

depending on your device, we can troubleshoot that/find alternatives

I don't have time to record right now

While most of it is recording, yes, we also accept screenshots especially for missing events and data file info!

I can't get the app again

We have an APK pinned in our discord that can allow you to play Liar! again on an emulator. We have a couple of recommendations for specific emulators in our discord!

I don't have the disk space

We have multiple resources to help compress videos in our discord!

If you have no problems w/ helping with archiving after me going through that then

The following missing files/stories are categorized as follows:

Missing Data Files: we have absolutely NOTHING on these files - no cgs, no data info, no recordings of story (if applicable)

Missing Data File Stories: goes along with Missing Data Files but we are specifically missing the story recordings of these files

Missing Main Story Sections: these are the parts of the stories that require replaying main story/sequels/lovers routes in order to obtain! for this part, we're looking for people who had a lot of tickets stored who can get through these stories quickly!

Missing CGs: We have data file info and recordings of the story BUT we don't have the CGs available. We're looking for the clean versions (only the CG) and the file version (the CG with the borders showing the file number, the name, star rating, etc.)

Missing Event Stories: events are unplayable but we'll take clips, screenshots, or short versions of these routes from data files (and if you somehow have the full thing then 👀we'll definitely will take that)

Before saying goodbye to Liar! Uncover the Truth…

This game has always been dear to me (as much as My Last First Kiss does! even now) but sadly not every game we love has a happy ending. The closure of JP Liar was foreboding, yet the announcement still hits just as hard!

I have been playing again since the announcement. Although I’ve branched my otome tastes a little more, this game is still charming, not afraid to bring out all the crazies and fun, and still have in store plenty of heart-fluttering moments!

(And so much personality in the localization; I miss that a lot nowadays T_T)

Although a bit of content of JP Liar has been ported to Koi100+, they were nowhere near everything. The gameplay definitely hits different as well due to format limitations. And of course my hope is that Liar! will make its way to Love365 as well, but nothing has been confirmed and time is running out.

And you know how I will always and forever miss Gossip Girl Party.

Did you know they deleted the PV off their channel? I didn’t! And I’m still furious >:(

So I was able to find many other Liar! fans and we’re trying our best to archive everything that we can! The progress have been great, but we definitely still miss some content, namely data files, event routes and false accusations. We also talk a bunch about Liar! as we go through all the good old memories of the game (honestly I forgot how chaotic these guys were lmao)

Liar! EN Closure Announcement

If you're a big fan of Liar! Series and have read all event stories and sequels, we need your help for the archive! Please contact us via Discord 🙏

Fyi, the JP app has been suspended since a year ago and it was amazing that the EN app was not affected that time, especially because there has been no updates for more than 5 years(?)

The stories will be added in Love 365 most likely, so let's wait for them to come back! It's not as interactive as the original standalone app but at least we could still enjoy the stories!

PS: I really hope the limited Liar! events will be available as special stories because I missed so many events in the past sobs. And who knows if we will also get the official translations for S4 and S5 in the future?

The heroine in My Last First Kiss has trouble calling Hiroki Eniwa by his first name because it’s considered too intimate in her eyes. However, she has no problem calling him “Hiro”, which is ultimately a more intimate name than Hiroki. 

Then again, because she has been calling him “Hiro” since they were kids, the heroine might have thought that the nickname was more childish than intimate.
