This blog will be all about books I'm currently reading, have read, or am looking forward to reading. I mostly read romance books by Black women and about Black women finding love. Also, a huge Talia Hibbert fan (if you haven't heard of her, you should go check her work out). I hope you find something you like ♥️

Looking forward to The Spy coming out by Nana Malone. If you haven't read the Gentleman Rogues series yet, it's phenomenal. I love it!

If you haven't read Talia Hibbert's YA yet, ya need to get to it. Quickly.
I love Talia's work and was a little apprehensive to read this one because I stopped reading YA for a while. But this is just like her other work and I, of course, loved this one too. Make sure to give it a try! 😉

Finished reading Witchful Thinking by Celestine Martin and am now currently reading The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon, which I still don't know how I feel about it. But I wanted to talk about my thoughts on Witchful Thinking which I absolutely LOVED!
I thought this book was so great. I loved the community between the sisters and all of the dynamics shown within it. I loved the community that Celestine built in Freya Grove. I especially loved the journey that Lucy goes on. Just going after the things she wants and even though it all started with a wish, or a spell, her life literally became magical because she took action and went after what she wanted. I, of course, loved all of the "meet-cutes" I guess you could call them. (Spoiler Alert) My favorite is probably when she has to jump in the Ferris Wheel to escape her ex and ends up being with Alex 😂 Anyways, completely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone 10/10, very cute

The three books I bought for my birthday this month, and all by Black women I've never read from before. I've just started Witchful Thinking and am IN LOVE with all of the meet cutes in it.
