What the fuck dude?
My father in law is on his bullshit again
He is now convinced that transgender people didn't exist until the 1970's and that it all stems from a Pedo named John Holiday or John Money (?) that did gender reassignment surgery on a child against his will told him he was a girl now and then forced him and his brother to have sexual intercourse.
I'm tired of constantly feeling like I have to validate my existence to a man who thinks he knows everything and how the world "should be" and throws a Hissy Fit when corrected, no matter how gentle.
He might as well be putting his fingers in his ears and screaming I can't hear you.
Shit like this is why he won't be allowed to vist me, my partner, and baby in the hospital come September nor be around my son without me or my partner present.

Got my first moderna vaccination shot.
It's crazy that this is the major historic event that I'll tell my child about when they're born.
That I'll tell 'em I was pregnant with them when I got the vaccine and that people thought I was being careless, when in reality I waited until I was nearly 6 months pregnant and made the choice so they had the best chance of having antibodies when born
So if we do get exposed in our fairly conservitive city and get it our symptoms won't be as severe.
I did ot not just for me, but for my baby too.

Moderna Vaccine appointment scheduled
It's surreal that it's finally happening. Even more surreal that I'm pregnant and will be protecting not just myself but my unborn child.
What's infuriating is people who want to pretend the vaccine is dangerous and the virus "isn't that bad" and still don't wear masks in public spaces.

Jokes on her, it's been nearly 2 years and it's been confirmed I don't have bipolar at all, and Borderline personality disorder doesn't explain the ADHD type symptoms I have (or my sensory issues). And my current clinician has no problem with me wanting to seek testing for ADHD and Autism especially as I have 2 brothers, each diagnosed with one.
Adhd or just Mania?
My psyc told me it was impossible for me to have adhd because I did okay in school and suffer from bipolar type 1. And I still think she’s wrong.

He's not a carrier.
Baby may be a carrier but it'd be rare for them to have CF and if they decide to have bio children one day in the far future it won't come as a surprise if they are a carrier.
I just found out today that I'm a carrier of CF (cystic fibrosis)
It came as a surprise
Now my partner also has to get a blood test to see if he's a carrier
It came as a huge surprise to me because no one in my family has had CF

My baby cousin (she's 10 years younger than me) has an Instagram and followed me.
I never thought that something would age me emotionally so fast.
Her whole account is editing tiktoks and MHA fan art
Like I'm currently pregnant, my cousin is in middle school, both during a pandemic
And I can already see the start of her "I'm not like other girls phase"

I'm fucking tired
My legs feel wobbly when sitting
I know it means my legs are unstable and I'm more at risk to fall
I had tried leaning on my partner today
But he basically told me I'm ungrateful and don't want to do anything for myself when he doesn't feel up to helping me
I'm fucking tired
And still hungry
So i did what I needed to do to be able to feed myself
I scooted backwards on my butt with my arms and abs across the floor from our bedroom to the kitchen.
Put the handle of the bag of grapes in my mouth and scooted back
He accused me of doing it to make a point
I did it because falling while pregnant could kill our child and not eating enough could hurt our child
But I'm ungrateful dramatic and lazy yea?
I wish I could just will myself not to need assistance on bad days like he thinks I can.

The US had a mainstream eugenics movement and that thinking influences society to this day.
A lot of eugenic sentiment towards disabled people is widely accepted.
-Parents kill their disabled children and its seen as just a product of how hard it is to have a disabled kid.
-Parents of kids with Down’s syndrome are asked why they didn’t get an abortion, which is just as anti-choice as pressuring someone to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term.
-Pregnant disabled people are judged for passing on their genes by random strangers and medical professionals alike

Being Trans Disabled and Pregnant is definitely an interesting intersection.
People who have an issue with me being pregnant are usually in one of two camps
The transphobic camp or The Ableist and eugenics camp
It just gets tiring feeling isolated because most pregnancy groups are extremely focused on Cis able bodied women and seem to either purposely or accidentally forget not everyone fits in those demographics.
I just want to be able to celebrate with other pregnant people without the social dysphoria that comes from people assuming we're all moms to be
I want to get tips from other disabled pregnant people and how they managed with just about everything
I just hate feeling isolated when this is the happiest I've been in a long time.
