Over a couple of drinks, I mentioned to a friend that I really don't get Wilco. He told me it's because I don't appreciate background music. I'm an overly neurotic twenty-something with no direction. I require never ending, over the top, big, blinking, boderline catastrophic overstimulation in order to avoid collapsing into the depths of an existential apocalypse. Life is too short for Wilco.

I've been high a few times...
Tonight included - but before that, I can count the events on one hand. I'll be honest? I don't see the appeal/how it's that much different from being drunk. Don't get me wrong - if it's your thing, go for it, it just doesn't do anything for me that a beer doesn't already.

Couple of years ago I was completely miserable stocking shelves for a grocery store on the overnight shift. My highlight was when I had a new Comedy Death Ray/Bang Bang to listen to that night. I thought about my 20 year old self a lot today after getting a gig with IFC.
