Yesterday I ran a Tea Party Sketch Tour for kids & families for #worldteagathering2018 at the @artgalleryofsa ! Last week at @carclew 's #pompomsa , @katekurucz ran a self-portrait workshop for the kids ... which was also hugely popular with all the adults present, both parents & staff alike 😉 I used to do quite a lot of realistic acrylic painting and it was lovely to revisit that mode of close looking & patient likeness-chasing after many years. I could not be more proud to have contributed to the @cityofplayford 's @salafestival public art project, Square Eyed! As the artist / facilitator, I worked with forty funny, energetic and creative kids from Elizabeth Grove Primary, who came together at @northernsoundsystem to draw, paint and speak about what they love about their community. This became an interactive, audiovisual lightbox installation, which was launched on Tuesday night.
