Random Lords in Black head cannons I have ( I have a lot but here are a few)

Pokey uses his human form the most to plan out choreography.

If he messes up a dance move, he sits in a corner and broods for the rest of the day.

He kidnaps Paul sometimes and forces him to sing cause he enjoys it. It’s like a lullaby.

His room is a full theater drenched in blue lighting.

Nibbly’s domain is modeled off the board game candy land. She loved the game so damn much she designed her room after it.

She will not shut up for hours. It pisses off the eldest two, Pokey more than Wiggly.

She’s closest with Blinky who uses her as his voice, but also likes playing with Tinky.

Tinky’s room looks like Sherman’s room on crack. It covered wall to wall with toys. He has a throne made of plushies.

He doesn’t play dolls or army men no no no. He takes out Teds out of his box and forces them to fight. He sees it as a “break” from the cube, but it still really sucks.

Tinky loves to play with his brothers, but only Nibbly enjoys playing with him. The rest see it as a chore.

He used to love to play with Webby, and was the most upset by her banishment.

Blinky’s room is just full of TVs, all showing horrible events across the universes.

He doesn’t talk much, allowing Nibbly to talk for him.

He’s also the sneakiest of the 5, and has on many occasions snuck up and scared his siblings.

One of Blinky’s eyes is still injured from Bill. His brothers make fun of him for that.

Wiggly’s room looks like a presidents office decorated for Christmas.

He spends most of his time in doll form than true form. He looks tiny and cute, but will curb stop his siblings.

His room also has a huge chalk board that has all the plans for apocalypses.

He doesn’t need to, but he drinks coffee every 2 hours.

I feel like I should be alright to post these now. I had the privilege of making some merch for Team Starkid's reprised run of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals! These were all made into stickers that you could grab if you happened to catch the show at the El Portal Theatre. It was SO much fun getting to make these for the fine folks over at Starkid. I love the Hatchetfield universe so much and being trusted to design these in an official capacity was truly such a joy!

I stayed up way too late too many nights this week to get these done before Friday. Theoretically there are details in UV paint that will appear in blacklight, but I haven't gotten to test them out yet.

Need to get some ribbon to lace them, but sadly my photography skills are lacking, so I'll try to get better pics but...

i’ve been thinking more about hidgens recently and honestly, i think he deserves to be unhinged, crazy, and kill a bunch of people. because if i was in his shoes, if i had to go through what he went through, i’d be much worse than him

like imagine, you’re in college and you’re a part of a seven person polycule. the six men you’re in love with are your best friends and one of them is what i assume to be the most perfect man that ever existed, chad. and then one day you decide to play “football” (i don’t think they ever played any actual football, i think they used it as a guise to press against each other’s sweaty bodies in public without being discriminated against) in a storm.

then lightning strikes all of you as you fight for a ball. and somehow the strike kills everyone but you. you somehow become the sole survivor, over greg, steve, stu, mark, leighton, and over chad for no other reason besides sheer luck. you have to crawl out of their dead charred bodies at the same time you are given a vision of an apocalyptic future. you have to stand in the rain with the bodies of the people you held most dear at your feet.

with that immeasurable grief dragging you down, you still manage to complete your degree, you still, assumably, get your masters. you still become a professor and live your life.

you never fall in love again.

through all this, you only have one thing that you want. only one thing. you want to put on a musical where you can imagine a future where your boys didn’t die in that storm. a future where the only thing keeping you apart is not death, not years, but simply being too busy at your job. and you can finally imagine a world where you can play “football” with your boys again and again, as long as you need. maybe this is the one thing you need to do to finally process your grief.

but the world will not let you. whether that’s due to not being able to get the right budget, not being given complete creative freedom, or getting wrapped up in apocalypses, you can’t put it on

the one thing you want is something that continues to be out of your reach

like with all that, i think he can kill whoever he wants, my god. i fully believe if he could put on the production of his dreams, he’d be able to move on. or maybe even with all the time and all the budget he wants, he will never be satisfied. a musical may be a poor substitute to his real boys.

but regardless, i say he can do whatever and it’s completely okay because, as abnormal as he is, i think i’d be worse. i think a lot of people would be much worse. everything he’s done is valid
