i think therianblr needs to stop focusing on defining what being a therian, nonhuman, alterhuman etc is for the entirety of the community.
like can we not accept some therians consider themselves human, and some therians absolutely do not. defining an entire group of people's experiences isnt possible ashskdk
some people are comfortable w animal packers, some arent ... like i dunno why yall are fighting.
yall need to take a step back and drink some water
what matters at the end of the day is how you view your therianthropy, nonhumanity etc.
you wont get anywhere defining how not human or how human someone else is

In defense of the True Mandalorians
I have seen a lot of bad takes about the true Mandalorians, so I’m going to settle some things
They are NOT space Wagner, the Wagner group is the worst of the worst, even among PMCs, the True Mandalorians are HONORABLE mercenaries.
We don't have many examples of honorable mercenaries in our real world, so I’m going to look to in lore examples
In the clone wars we come across a group of bounty hunters who were hired to protect a village from pirates
In the mandalorian din djarin and Cara Dune are hired to protect a village from raiders
These are the types of jobs the True Mandalorians take, and in the late republic period, they were likely in abundance

Hi!! :) I’m back! I said a bit more on Twitter but I’ve been gone for a while due to health reasons. I’m improving though and have returned! This fandom is not getting rid of me
Anyways though !! I’m taking mcyt doodle requests atm :) Moreso on Twitter so it’s better if you leave your request there but you can also leave it in my inbox! Any mcyt is fine (obv not people like forever, dream, wilbur etc…) and this includes any fics! If it’s any I don’t know of and haven’t drawn before or fics you haven’t seen me draw, I do ask that you provide reference to make my life easier and so I don’t butcher it lmao

Okay, so I did have a Star Wars au once. It was set during the Mandalorian-Jedi wars.
Wilbur was a Jedi, sent on mission to recover a stolen shipment of bacta. However, the mission went wrong, and he winds up in a cell in the cargo hold in force-inhibiting cuffs, alongside a small Togruta child, Tommy. He comforts Tommy, and is trying to think of a way out, but it all seems hopeless. Until, gunfire. A Mandalorian in black and pink amour steps into the hold, and sees Wilbur and Tommy. Wilbur is sure the Mandalorian will kill him (seeing as they're on opposing sides of a war) and begs for his life. The Mandalorian just throws him his lightsaber to get himself and Tommy free. He grabs something else from the cargo hold (aka something the pirates also stole from him, and the reason for boarding this random ship)
The ship has been damaged by the pirates whom the Mandalorian didn't kill fleeing and taking the main engine with it. The ship is going down. Wilbur and the Mandalorian pilot it to crash as safely as possible on the surface of Geonosis, but they won't be able to leave.
From there it's just the three of them surviving together as best as they can, the Mandalorian is Techno, and they all bond, etc. etc. However, Techno refuses to remove his helmet, despite there being several times where it would be beneficial for him to do so. At first, Wilbur thinks this is just because he's a Mandalorian, but then Techno fully admits that he's not; he left his clan years ago, but still practices his culture, seeing as that's how he grew up. Then, he also saves Wilbur's life and reveals that he's a force user. Untrained, certainly, but strong.
Anyway, they finally get some help from a rogue Geonosian named Tubbo, whom only Tommy can understand for some reason. They send out transmissions to their respective factions, they get rescued. Wilbur takes Tommy with him going back to the temple, and Tubbo decides to join the crew of the Hardcore with Techno. As they leave, Wilbur notices Phil give him a strange look.
Wilbur asks the Council if he can keep Tommy with him, they say no and to mind his attachment to the kid, but agree to try and find a place for him to stay at the temple instead of going into refugee housing (because there's a war going on. A little orphan Togruta is not the highest of their priorities). Life goes on. Wilbur keeps getting sent on missions, and his requests to see Tommy keep getting denied. He doesn't even speak to Techno, because talking to a Mandalorian, even an excommunicated one, is unthinkable. He feels like there's something bad going on.
One day, he breaks. He goes to visit Tommy. But Tommy's not in the Temple, and he's not in any housing plans. By luck (or force bullshit) Wilbur finds Tommy half-dead, starving in an alleyway. Of course, he takes him back to the Temple and confronts the Council. They say it's not their responsibility, and Wilbur's actually at fault for being too attached. Wilbur leaves the Order, takes Tommy with him, and calls Techno. The Hardcore is there in minutes.
From there, it'd just be them settling into their new life as menaces to the galaxy. Tommy is nursed back to health. But Wilbur keeps getting odd looks from the crew. Eventually, he asks Phil why that is, and Phil takes him to the bridge, where Techno is planning their movements. He doesn't have his helmet on. He turns around to greet Phil, not realising that Wilbur's there too, and they just freeze. Because they're identical.
Anyway, the story behind that is the Jedi found two force-sensitive kids on Mandalore. This was before the war broke out, though tensions were still high, so they came to the compromise that the Jedi would take one, and the other would be raised Mandalorian. Techno had grown up hearing stories of how the Jedi stole his brother, but never thought he'd meet him. Wilbur helps refine Techno's force skills, Techno teaches Wilbur things about their culture.
Other random things: I had the crew of the Hardcore planned out. Kristin was a nightsister, Phil was a Zabrak. Tommy a Togruta and Tubbo a Geonosian obviously. Ranboo was a Kaminoan, which everyone has the reaction 'what the fuck are you' because at this point, Kamino is basically undiscovered. I mean, in canon they only joined the republic during the clone wars. So no one really knows about them. Oh, and Niki is there, and she's a Twi'lek Mandalorian, who left the clan with Techno.
Anyway. This is something I had thought up a while ago.

there are two kinds of rosekiller fics:
evan is ace and doesn’t like the idea of sex. barty’s spent all of his relationships trying to be sexually pleasing, just for him to end up with his childhood best friend who doesn’t even like the idea of it. this shows that evan loves barty for his personality and character only, which is something barty needs to hear cause of his severe self-esteem issues. it shows how the two of them are such emotional people with rich feelings and follows a story of the importance of communication. it so beautifully makes the two written in the stars.
