10 Celebrities Who Inspire Us to Dress Better
There's a bunch of Hollywood stars who always look good, always wearing predictable pieces from predictable labels, but they're just kind of meh. On the other hand, a bunch of overtime stars are trying to be edgy, nonchalant, or fashion-forward, but you never believe it.
Then some celebrities always seem to get it right because of the inexplicable combination of fashion knowledge, the talent of high and low, and the X-factor that always affects us.
Sofia Coppola
Something is tempting about Coppola's style, to the point where most people use words like "understated," "chic," and "powerful" to describe it. You never see the 42-year-old director get out of bondage or high heels, and he always loves the pieces that work for him: crop tops, cropped pants, short skirts, and light shoes.
Jenna Lyons
Without altering the image and introduction of J. Crew, Lyons himself has become a coin of all things label and does as a product spokesperson, designer, model, style, and museum. With a six-foot-long sleeve and a signature helmet for mixing "fashionable" feminine items such as sequin pants, satin pants, and statement-based jewellery (chambray shirts, striped tiles, crewneck sweaters), it's no exaggeration that Lyons has become something of the divinity of personal status in the women's movement, which, due to the lack of a better voice, has overshadowed him.
Solange Knowles
This girl has always had a sense of style deviation, but lately, she has become quite her own. Bright colours and lyrical elements (he was a guest of Kenzo at this year's Met Gala), the artist and DJ can still drive it flawlessly into strong chic ensembles.
Alexa Chung
We haven't caught up with Alexa Chung's style fatigue yet, and we are continually impressed by her ability to stay cool, modern, and just enough to steal from anything she wears. It-Brit is known as a great handset and can wear anything - from a basic skirt and button-down to a red Chanel carpet with similar levels of convenience.
Harley Viera-Newton
We've always admired the New York-based DJ and the sense of style. Whether she's rocking a chic dress with the same heels in red carpet, her flawless look at Coachella includes denim shorts, air-conditioned flats and vibrant Chanel body bags, we are inspired - and on and on.
Rachel Bilson
The actress has long been considered a member of the elite and has good reason: she's a Chanel lawyer, the face of the celebrity behind Scott, and the style director at Sunglass Hut. She also manages to always look modern and stylish, whether she's wearing a boyfriend jean and a blazer or a red dress with a red carpet.
Miroslava Duma
This Russian girl - who is the editor of Harper's Bazaar Russia and the current founder of the blog Buro 24/7 - is out of step when it comes to fashion. Usually wearing couture on his toes, he doesn't look too overweight or too overweight. Known for its gorgeous street style, the medium-sized Duma, it tends to look for the shortest skirts and high heels in the sky, the gorgeous outfits, and captivating statement pieces like leather jumpsuits, vibrant colours, and eye-catching theme.
Olivia Palermo
When you forget her humorous personality, her amazing reality TV show "The City," and the fact that no one knows what she's doing, it's easy to remember that Palermo dresses up very, very well. Obviously, like any other socialite worth his salt, Palermo exhibits international events, fashion shows, and galas that look flawless, but there is something about his many looks that are unusually accessible (or at least easy to duplicate).
Miranda Kerr
Best known for its coveted body armour, the angel known as The Secret of Victoria is quickly recognized for its colourful outfits. On the road, the mega-moderate model is a bit different in terms of blouses, T-shirts, leather pants, swingy skirts, and it bags, while her red-carpet ensembles are always a fun combination of sexy, athletic, and elegant.
Diane Kruger
What’s not to love about this character style? Well, this woman doesn't seem to have a bad day of fashion. (Yes, it probably never will.) And while most stars have access to couture, Kruger is one of the few that always seems to offer top labels like Chanel and Jason Wu his spin.
