most unexpected thing for me about watching fantastic four was that i wasn’t focused on pedro pascal as much as i thought id be, but joseph quinn however? i think a switch just clicked on in my brain

saw fantastic four last night and i was nervous that my theater was gonna be dead but it was actually pretty decent considering where i live and my favorite part was this middle age guy sitting a couple seats down from me because he was so hype the entire time and at one point he said his breath “it’s clobbering time” and honestly it made the experience 1000% better

watching superman and getting to the scene where lois brings clark back to the farm and his parents were worried and caring made me lowkey tear up but i kept it cool. and then when it was clarks father giving him the ‘pep talk’ thing i was doing a lot more than tearing up (me and the rest of the theater fr) bc those were the kind of words i never knew i needed to hear, and my parents will never give them to me but this movie did! ugh i hope that scene moved other people in this way bc it literally made me feel like maybe the way i was raised (conservative and judgmental and “stuck in one perspective” parents) won’t define me for the rest of my life. i don’t know it just made me feel happy and sad and everything

bucky: so, scale of 1-10. where does your fight with the president rank on your list of fights, difficulty-wise?

sam: well shit, man, if i’m thinking of 10 as thanos and 1 as you—

bucky: why am i at 1?

sam: i don’t know, because i quite literally kicked your ass during the first fight we had?

bucky: that was after i tore the steering wheel out of your car and made you crash on the highway!

sam: i mean, i guess… plus the helicarriers… the whole wing thing…

bucky: yeah, that’s what i thought

sam: so maybe you’re at a five. so the fight with red hulk probably sits at… a seven?

bucky: …

the account name is @the-samandbucky-show and the podcast is called sergeant barnes and the noble as a play on our two favorite podcast hosts. if you wanna know more about how the podcast will be formatted, the schedule, and more, you can read the intro post i’m gonna have pinned at the top of the page!
