I’m Back!
Hello everyone! I’m back! I got really busy for awhile and honestly, I still am, but I’m trying to get back into my story. I changed my name from Loreleissongbook to rireesspellbook for many reasons. One of them is I have a character named Riree that I love and honestly relate to a good bit. There’s quite a lot of other reasons but that’s the main point. I’m excited to get back into writing and my writeblr.

Full offense but your writing style is for you and nobody else. Use the words you want to use; play with language, experiment, use said, use adverbs, use “unrealistic” writing patterns, slap words you don’t even know are words on the page. Language is a sandbox and you, as the author, are at liberty to shape it however you wish. Build castles. Build a hovel. Build a mountain on a mountain or make a tiny cottage on a hill. Whatever it is you want to do. Write.

Inktober Prompt 3- The Dryad, Forest
They say that a forest is never really empty. They say that even if something happens and every animal leaves, every insect, SOMETHING is still there. And I’m here to say that is true. Every forest has a spirit, a nymph or dryad, that lives there. That protects the forest. I am one. For Izznar, the ancient forest. This forest has been here since the beginning of time and it will continue to be here, until…
“Hey, Kingsley, what are you doing?”
Kingsley looked around to see Parker standing right behind him.
“Well I’m recording our history. You never know who could need it.”
“Do you really think anyone is going to care about our small forest in the middle of nowhere?”
“Well actually…” Kingsley starts.
“Oh Kingsley. You’re so naive. No one will read that.” And Parker walks off, shaking his head at Kingsley. Kingsley thinks of what he said. That no one will read his “story”. But you are. You’re reading the story of my forest. Have you noticed something? It’s not in order. Everything is connected, but in what way? I’ve given hints already. See if you can spot them. And continue to spot them. Put together the pieces. Create the picture of Izznar. And at the end, see if you’re right.
*** *** ***
I’m sorry it’s so short today. I’ve been busy so I haven’t been able to right anything too long. But yeah! Hope you’re liking my little stories.

Inktober Prompt- 2, The Witch, Forest
There’s a cabin in the forest. It’s a nice cabin, not run down like some. A chimney that twists into the tree filled sky, a light wood door, a clearing with a small garden on the side. A cat walks through this garden. Twisting between the vines that grow five feet into the air, herbs that grow five inches, and root plants marked with stakes. The cat seems to be….inspecting something? It sniffs every plant, stopping for a whole minute to do so, before moving on to the next. Every so often it stops and thinks, pondering whatever question is in its head, then once again moves on. Eventually, at the corner of the garden, the cat sniffs something and starts spinning in a circle. It picks up the herb planted there, being careful to not completely close its mouth and crush or mash up the plant. It steps through the open front door of the cabin, the sight of the middle aged witch in front of it.
“Ah, Leo. Thank you. Just the herb I needed.” The kind witch bent over and held her hand out. Rolling his eyes, Leo transformed into his human form.
“You know you don’t have to treat me like a cat ALL the time right? Just when we’re outside.” He reminded her.
“Yes, yes. Sorry. Sometimes I forget. But still. Thank you. For helping me. I’m getting old...and I can’t do this all myself…. I wish I could.” The witch looked at the ground, as if remembering old times. Times of running through this exact forest with other girls…
“Yes, well. You saved me. It’s the least I could do.” Leo said, trying to pull his good friend out of her own head.
“Speaking of which... I have another favor to ask Leo. A big one. One I don’t know how much you’re capable of.” The witch snapped back into the present, remembering the spell and potion and, most importantly, conversation at hand.
“You know I can do just about anything. What is it?” Leo asked, confused by what the witch could need.
“Well. You know what this forest means to me. And you know that I’m getting old, that any spell could take the rest of my strength away.” The witch turned back to brewing her potion while talking, a habit that annoyed Leo but he got used to.
“Yeah. What does this have to do with me?”
“Well, Leo. I believe this potion and the spell I want to do after that are the ones. So I want you to protect my forest. That’s what the spell is-a protection spell. But it only goes so far. So I want you to help. Become a part of the forest. Protect it. And when you can’t anymore, pass the blessing to someone who can.” The witch almost had tears in her eyes, the thought of her forest being without protection being the scariest thing she’s faced.
“Well yes, I can do that. But what’s the potion?” Leo asked, still the only emotion of confusion etched across his forehead.
“A memory potion. Well charm is probably the better word. To erase people’s memories of me and you. So you can live in peace.” And with that explanation the charm was done. So the witch took the herb Leo got for her and threw it into the bowl. There was a flash of light as the charm was dispersed throughout the neighboring town. When the light faded and Leo could see again, the witch had become much older, skin sagging in many places. Her hunched over form was muttering something and before Leo could stop her, there was another flash of light as the witch finished the spell. This time, when the blindness wore off, Leo saw no witch. Just a pile of clothes where she was. He gave himself no time to mourn. Instead he immediately changed himself to a deer and ran off into the forest, determined to keep the last wish of his best friend.

Inktober Prompt- 1, Forest, The Old Man
“Whoo, whoo.” The owl swooped down from the tree, landing on the log on the floor of the forest in front of the rundown, old house. Usually the old man who lived there was out to feed the animals by now, but he wasn’t. And every squirrel, deer, and bird knew something was wrong. They all looked up to the owl swooping down, the leader of the little forest family.
“He’s not here. What shall we do? Something is wrong” the youngest squirrel said while running around the owls feet.
“Calm down child,” the owl cooed. “I’ll see what’s happening .” So the owl flew up to the chimney and down into the house. She flew around corners until she found the old man in his room, in bed. He looked very weak.
“Oh. Scarlet. I wonder how you got in? Oh well. I… I’m sorry I couldn’t get out today, I….I’m very weak.” The man said, his voice a whisper. Scarlet, as he affectionately named the owl, could sense the end was near. But it didn’t have to be. She transformed from her owl form to a feeble old lady herself.
“Carl, you have taken care of the animals very well for 20 years. I used to be like you, coming to feed them all. And then a deer came and asked me to trade him places, as I’m about to ask you. It’s this blessing. A blessing of the forest. You get 20 years added to your life so long as you were nice to the forest and its creatures and you promise to continue to take care of them. You then have to pass on the blessing. And I want to pass it to you.” Carl had no idea what to say. He wasn’t very special. And yet this owl-no woman-wants him to watch the animals for 20 years added to his life? He wouldn’t have it any other way, but why him? But he mustn’t think on it too long, as it seemed Scarlet wouldn’t last long. So he accepted. And as he flew away as the owl Scarlet was, she watched as all the animals followed to be told what would happen to “the old man”. Scarlet only hoped that everyone would be satisfied with his answer and stay safe. And she went peacefully.

So, I know Inktober is technically for artists, but let’s say fuck it, and do this for fun. I’m combining all three prompts from these three images, and we’ll see how this goes. I’m also going to be doing a tag list, because I’m an attention whore, and want people to read this shit. If you want to be added, send me an ask.
Tag list: @sleepy-and-anxious @loreleissongbook @multi-fandommesss (You three have no choice! Muahaha!)

New writeblr
Hello there! I’m new to this community.
I wanted to make a blog for my writing for a long time and now I finally did it. So may I introduce you to my own little writeblr?
But first some facts about me:
You can call me Cassy
I am 18 years old
European
English is not my native language so I apologize in advance for any mistakes
I loooove “dark” things such as graveyards and thunderstorms
But I’m also a huge k-pop fan and I like cute things, too
I have days on which I’m just binge-watching tv shows and series
Besides writing I’m also drawing a lot, both on paper and digitally; maybe I’ll post something of my art on here if I think it’s good enough
I’ve been writing since I was nine years old and I always wanted to talk to people about my stories. So this blog is my attempt to reach out to other writers, to connect, and to maybe even make new friends, but most importantly - to talk about writing.
I’m planning on posting information about my WIPs and my OCs, but I’m also going to reblog a lot, e.g. writing tips or prompts. The genres I’m usually writing in are fantasy and science fiction or a mixture of those two, but I’m always ready to try new things.
But yes, that’s it so far from side. I’m really looking forward to becoming a part of this community and hearing about other people’s stories!
Please like or reblog this so I can check you out! I really want to find mutuals on here.
Byee (:
