Both people writing about nature in a mundane way and people writing about nature in a spiritual way talk about the forest revealing its secrets if you listen and I think that's something. Like the spiritual people often mean it literally and the mundane people don't and yet they use the same phrasing. The same sentiment. Like there's something in humans, no matter your belief, that makes us want to sit quietly in nature and watch and understand.
