So I wanted to ask both Ink and Nightmare

What's your love language to each other?

(I LOVE THIS SHIP AND UR ARTSTYLE SO MUCH, KEEP GOING)

Ink had a hard time fully understanding how to comfort others and show affection correctly when they were first introduced to the multiverse so they tend to default to physical touch, seeing as many others usually reacted positively to it. Their actual love language is a little more complicated and I haven’t figured out what it’s best described as.

nightmare is not usually one to show affection but finds using words and flowery language pleasing. This can be in the form of writing too and he enjoys writing letters and nots to them.

but in reality both of their love languages are threatening eachother/j………..?

And technically (as a comic reader) this still makes sense.

So, in canon, Horrortale Sans has not eaten in 7+ years. He has some interesting near immortality going on with him, from starving that long, to having his head smashed in. Doesn't mean he doesn't have to pay for it. He has occasional episodes of extreme hunger that sends him on feeding frenzies, and the damage to his skull seems to make him more sensitive to loud noise and migraines, as well as developing retrograde amnesia/not being able to recall events before the injury.

But this comic still works because though he does not eat humans, he still has so much blood on his hands. He is the reason why monsters have resorted to eating humans by lying and saying that it was something that queen Undyne declared (if you don't know, Horrortale takes place after a neutral run, so Asgore is dead and Undyne took his place). He did not only trick monsters into believing that Undyne made that decision, but he also tricked Papyrus into eating human flesh when he really didn't want to. It is Papyrus after all. Sans is also the one who does a lot of the killing and butchering of humans. It was his and Papyrus' job before to distribute rations.

It is never really explained as to why Sans starves himself, but the popular theory is that deep down, underneath all that apathy, he feels remorse and guilt for what he's doing.

So yeah, back to this comic, he'd probably hold onto that guilt for a long time, even after everything is all said and done, and he's free. He still can't stop thinking about the humans he murdered, and he struggles to accept that he deserves food.

I've seen people claim that he is the least mentally ill of the murder time trio, but that is just so not true. From his issues with food, to his paranoia, psychosis, and extreme mood swings... I'd argue he's probably the worst off out of trio.

And that's not even taking into consideration that even if he were to get himself to start eating again, his body might not be able to handle it well after going without for so long. Refeeding can often be dangerous if not done carefully. I like to imagine him having to wear a feeding tube for a while. Coming from someone who almost had to have one.

Anyway, Horrortale is a really great comic. I'm really bummed out that I had to stop reading it because I had to cut out most horror genre media for my mental health, but now that I'm doing better, the fandom lost its Horrortale privileges, and the comic as of recently was put behind a paywall. This fandom has made a habit out of ruining things for everyone because they still haven't quite put together that there's a connection between modern fandom discourse and the current state of the word.

Sorry for rambling. Horrortale was a hyperfixation of mine for a little bit, and this fandom as a whole has been a hyperfixation for going on a decade.

Also, the headcanon that Horrortale Sans sucked at cooking much like classic Sans, but he made learning how to cook a part of his recovery and he got really good at it. That is how he started cooking for the Bad Guy Sanses.
