Ayano glanced to where the pink sign was, and with a bright smile she gently took Shurelia’s hands and lead the way to the shop. Enter the store, she stretched her arms out and beamed again. “It’ll be okay! We can have an ice cream together… You can call me Ayano!” Now that she thought about it, ice cream sounded really good about now. So was this a win-win? She’ll have to think about it later.
Following her companion’s lead, Shurelia walked into the warm and welcoming shop. Despite coming in just minutes beforehand, the atmosphere still surprised her a bit. Shops weren’t quite so.. Calm, in her world.
“Ayano? That’s a pretty name.” Though not one she’s heard of before. “My name’s Shurelia.” After introducing herself with a slight incline of her head, she turned towards the menu. What would she get? Nothing character based. She wouldn’t be able to eat it.

8) Emotional scar with the worst memory?
She wasn’t sure. Most of her emotional data is recycled a decade or so after the event that caused that emotional response happened. It's cleared for more information, new information to be written. And, it gradually resets her personality, as well. But, recently? That she could remember? “... Lyner.... Leaving me behind. Leaving me.. Alone. It hurts.”
24) How often are you told you’re loved?
“Perhaps the last time was... 300? 400 years ago?” Of course, perhaps Lyner had confessed in her Binary Feild, but that didn’t count. The Lyner in her Binary Field had his personality and memories overwritten, after all.

Make my Muse sad!
Who’s someone you miss?
Something you regret saying?
Something you regret doing?
Worst thing you’ve said to someone you love?
Worst goodbye?
What’s a moment that still stings?
Physical scar with the worst memory?
Emotional scar with the worst memory?
Are you okay?
What was the last serious thing you’ve cried about?
How often do you cry?
Would you try to get back in touch with someone you used to know?
Have your parents ever hurt you with their words?
Worst thing a friend has done to you?
Worst thing a lover has done to you?
Who hurt you?
Do you abuse yourself in any way known?
What are your darker thoughts like?
First heartbreak?
How do you eat?
How do you sleep?
Something you heard from a loved one that hurt you?
Has someone you loved ever put their hands on you?
How often are you told you’re loved?
How did you handle your first ‘i hate you’?

An announcement told of [Saint Fragments], and a reward for those who sought them out. The monetary amount was substantial, but it was the addition of the [Virus] that had infected the populace of the city that interested her. She wasn’t a stranger to viruses. But how did this virus work? Who sent it? Were they controlling it, or had they let it run rampant? With no clear answers on how to fight the virus itself, she had resigned herself to stay on the sidelines for this hunt. Cecil, on the other hand, seemed to have other ideas. Brought from her thoughts by the tap on her head, she glanced over to him and rubbed her eyes sleepily.
“So we’re joining the fray?” There wasn’t even a bunny reward. How stupid. Was it the money reward that motivated her Master? That didn’t seem to be the case, considering his next words. “What exactly should I watch for, then?” Shurelia stood up, stretching her arms above her head and letting out a yawn. Can you tell she’s not motivated in the slightest?
@reyvateilorigin
“Up an’ at em, young lady. We’ve got a full day’s work ahead of us by the looks of it.”
He sneered to himself as he tapped the girl on the head. The proposal was tempting enough, no doubt many were already flocking to dodge the infected and gather the fragments for their own gains, and he was more than happy to join them. At least on the surface. There was no real shortage of ways he could spend the money, but that was hardly his main aim.
Everyone who had merely been biding their time waiting would be out and about, those insistent on lurking in the shadows would have fewer places to hide. If there was ever a time for him to see just what it was he was dealing with here, it was now.
“We’re heading out to play ‘scavenger hunt’, but don’t fret. Our main goal is to get an eye full of what’s happenin’ here. If things get dicey, we run. Just stay were I can see ya.”

hanasou:
Of course that offer of ice cream was still up in the air! She had to atone for her sins payback Shurelia! Ayano shook her head and waved her hands in the same manner, instantly voicing herself.
“You weren’t in the way! I’m so deeply sorry! I’d love to treat you. Where did you buy the b- ice cream?” Was she about to say bunny? Yes. Yes, she was. She’d have to come back and properly dispose of the evidence and get her handkerchief, but all is fine. As long as she can make the sad-bunny-lover happy again.
What was that? Was Ayano about to say something? Whatever it was, Shurelia didn’t hear it. Which was a good thing, considering the forgotten soul on the pavement. Ayano’s handkerchief was going to be gross by the time she’d be able to come back.
“Over at that shop there.. The one with the pink sign.” Definitely back on track to being happy again, thankfully.

“A bomb,” he echoed, his voice wilting like a flower forgotten by the sill. Julian glanced away in a pitiful attempt to mask his anxiety. There was still time for him to put some distance between himself and this girl– no. He couldn’t assume that her flippancy towards armed munitions was a sign of psychopathy. This was merely a… clash of cultures. Surely she knew the dangers of her own craft.
With a scratch in his throat, he coughed into his fist and turned back towards Shurelia. Gingerly, he offered her the other hand and introduced himself as well, “Julian Albert. I’ve no issue with calling you ‘Caster’ if you’d care to preserve your anonymity.” Unable to help himself, his eyes fell upon her explosive device. “If I ask you why you’re building a bomb, you won’t sic it on me?”
She nods. “A bomb. On wheels. Its actually pretty useful, despite it looking like this.” Shurelia taps the top of the explosive, looking pleased with herself. “People wouldn’t know what hit them.”
She hasn’t seemed to have noticed his anxiety yet, and continued on speaking. “Anonymity isn’t an issue for me.” Its not like anyone who’d know her was here, anyways. “Its nice to meet you, Julian.” Her eyes widened in surprise as he asked her his question. “No, I’d never use it on someone who wasn’t an enemy! I merely want a few items to supplement battle, when it comes to it. That and.. I’m a bit bored. I could make something else though, if it’d ease your fears?” Her brow creased with slight worry, setting the Mecha Bunny aside, on the ground. “I didn’t mean to startle you with it.”

grimalkinsteps:
He wasn’t entirely sure what he expected to walk out of the metal armor, but it certainly wasn’t this. As he initially said, a young lady appeared from beneath the metal, but he couldn’t help but think back to his last summoning and wonder if this grail was mocking him as well. A weak laugh left him as a hand flew to his chin for just a moment.
“Well aren’t you a looker.” he laughed. “S’pose that’s just how the Caster Class likes to do things.”
“I’m beginnin’ to wonder if this might draw more attention than havin ya follow me in the armor, but it’s a little late for that now.”
Pulling out his Triplicata, he began to walk forward, looking over the information contained to double check on his surroundings. A few steps in he paused, turning to the silver-haired girl.
“I have a feelin I won’t expect the answer, but just what sorta place do you come from, Shurelia?”
“What do you mean? I look normal, don’t I?” Granted, she was wearing only the inner suit of the Linkage, and it was skintight, but it wasn’t as bad compared to some of the outfits she’s seen. And at least she was wearing clothes, unlike someone she knew.
She followed him closely as he started walking, turning her attention to her surroundings. The city was different from what she was used to, it spread out both towards the sky and along the ground. Greenery cropped up in surprising places, boasting the planet’s life. She wondered what the [Wills] who governed this planet were like.
“What my world is like...? Well..” She paused, looking up at the sky. “Its not as pretty as this place is. When they told me, when I got here, that the world was destroyed.. I wasn’t surprised.” She let out a sigh, shaking her head. “My world is confined to three towers, each supporting only a small population of humans, reyvateils, and other forms of life. The Towers rise up high into the sky, and there isn’t much land, or living space, on any of them. The surface of Ar Ciel, our planet, is covered in a cloud of poison that melts and destroys all living things. We call it the [Sea of Death]. The planet Herself wishes to get rid of all living things, and uses the Sea of Death to do so. The only way we can live is on the Towers.”
“But life at my Tower isn’t bad. There are two sections, the Lower World and the Upper World. We used to not have any contact with each other, but that’s changed within the past year or so. While the Upper World has some of the lost technologies of our past, the Lower World has its own technology and actually understands it.” “I’m the Administrator of the Tower, so I don’t usually have time to interact with anyone. I stay up towards the top of the Tower and keep its functions intact, and I have been for a long, long time.” She realized at this point she was rambling, and went quiet. Shurelia then laughed softly. “I guess its probably not a normal situation, compared to other worlds. What is your world like?”

She was bored. Cecil had wandered off, more interested in doing things like antagonizing random people than wanting to talk to her. Or maybe she was the one who wandered off? Either way, it didn’t change her situation. Which is why she found herself sitting on this bench, next to someone she didn’t recognize. She didn’t recognize a lot of people here, though. It seemed that no one from her corner of the universe had followed her here.
At the stranger talking to her, she glanced over, seeing what he was talking about. “Oh, the [Triplicata]? I heard it does, yes.” She tilted her head to the side, thinking about it. She honestly didn’t have much experience using technology similar to that, as most people she needed just came to her. The [Telemo] that the second tower had wasn’t used in her tower, either. And as a Servant, she didn’t have a Triplicata of her own. “Its much more convenient. But there’s still something charming about writing letters, you know.”
@reyvateilorigin
Oz fiddles with cube he’s had in his pocket since arriving. He hasn’t really gotten the chance to explore all the features yet, too busy with exploring the parts of city that he could. Somewhat sated in that need, the boy sits cross-legged on a public bench, tapping away at whatever strikes his fancy. He even found an assortment of games, how interesting.
“So, you can call people on this thing?” question posed for the person that took a seat on the bench next to him just a couple of minutes prior. Hopefully they don’t mind him chatting. “That seems a bit odd, but much handier than the letters I had to write if I wanted to contact someone.” It’s amazing how advanced this place is, at least compared to where he originally hails from.

“It does?!” A fountain? Granting wishes? She’s never heard of that before. She was the one who was supposed to do that. Who in their right mind let fountains, of all things, become that powerful? “... A scam? Wait, it doesn’t?” Make up your mind! Shurelia had to see this for herself. Ignoring his demands for her to stay back, she moved up to the fountain in question. .... Wow, that was a lot of SSR. Who was the idiot who wasted it all?
“Who needs wishes, with all this money sitting here?” She dipped her hand into the pool, fishing out a few of the coins. “You could probably use this to just get your wish, no magical fountain needed.”
“Stop, stop! Don’t come any closer!” he bellows as he waves her away from the plaza fountain. Richard whips around 180 degrees and glares at the stone fish spewing up water. “Do not waste your coin on this dastardly scheme. It is nothing but a lie, a scam! It doesn’t grant wishes!”
Even from behind the silly king’s arbitrary boundaries, one can see that there’s quite a bit of SSR glittering in the fountain. Lord knows how much has been spent on frivolous things like majestic ponies or majestic ponies in diamond armor or majestic ponies in diamond armor that can fly but we’re not calling them pegasi (pegasuses?) because *BEEP* that.
“I can’t believe someone would curse this fountain! Who could do such a thing and why? The evil bastards!”

Running this much as made Polka dizzy, so much so that she couldn’t properly make out the rabbit’s condition. Instead of waiting to catch her breath, she held out the bag of celery to the women.
“I–ah… got the celery! S… sorry…”
She took the celery, immediately grabbing a stalk out of the bag and offering it to the poor rabbit in her arms. No, wait, first she should set it down. “I’m going to find a place to sit down..” Probably that fountain over there.

“Hun… vuns?” Yuugi caught that much from what the stranger had asked her. It took another moment, even, before she realized that she was being addressed.
“Can’t say I’ve ever heard of ‘em. I could totally go and ask around if ya want, though!”
Hell, she hadn’t a clue where she could even find sake, much less these… whatever they were. But, if she was being forced to live among humankind again, there wasn’t much to lose in finding out what she was talking about, even if it meant potentially harassing a few of the townspeople in the process. She might even find sake if she were lucky enough….
“Funbuns.” She couldn’t help but correct the woman’s pronunciation, “You’ve never heard of them?” This was a dilemma. While she wasn’t as bad as Lyner, she certainly liked snacking on the treat while doing her work. It was actually because of him that she had developed the habit, though.
“I would appreciate the help!” If she was going to enlist this person’s help, she better introduce herself. “My name’s Shurelia, and you are..?” And if this woman needed help, too, she would definitely like to help.

@stardust-hatter
She had realized, soon after she arrived here, that a certain doglike guardian had followed her. No, she wasn’t sure it had followed her, rather than manifested because of her mana. Either way, [ELMA] was there, and his presence made her feel a bit safer. It was one of the most advanced parts of her security system, after all. And he didn’t get lost.
Now, if only he would listen to her. ELMA seemed much more interested in running off and exploring than sitting still for his maintenance. The servant followed him from a distance, too slow (and tripping too often) to actually keep up. The guardian stopped in front of a woman, letting out a small mechanical whir of delight. Something about the woman had attracted him, but what that was, Shurelia had no idea. “Elma, don’t bother her!” she had caught up finally, grabbing the guardian by its tail and dragging it back away from their legs. “I’m so sorry about that, I don’t know what got into him..”
