((Time: Quarter after 5 am

Gladio’s book is in Noct’s hand and Noct has skittered up to the top of the camper in a matter of seconds. He sits at the edge and attempts to casually open the book to a random page as he wonders, “Get to the good part yet?” Only to realize that his vision is currently bad enough that he needs to hold the book just a few inches from his face to make the words out. His ears flatten back against his head and he looks like he’s contemplating tossing the book off the camper in annoyance.

     And here we see the Shield start to get grumpy as his book is snatched away. He was going to try and grab for it, but blinked when he saw Noctis was already gone. Hearing his voice, he raised an eyebrow and stood up from where he was sitting, turning to look. He didn’t quite notice the feline features just yet, but give him a second. “Noct if you wanted to see it you could’ve asked.”

     Now it’s starting to click, there’s the proper reaction. “Also what the hell happened to you?” That was quite the, whatever it was, status condition? Yeah let’s go with that for now.

Gentiana has a thing for appearing in pictures of Gladio in my game. These are like, 5 out of 12 of her photobombs so far.

You better not go anywhere. ❞ His smile widened when he knew Gladio wouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

     A small nod was given in acknowledgement to the first statement. He knew he would be. “Heh, how could I leave my King when he needs me huh? Of course I’m not going anywhere.” He shook his head a little in amusement at the idea. Wouldn’t make him a very good Shield in any case.

Through, a part of him was glad that he did not have to hobble himself back, likely arriving back hours later to an absolutely freaking out Noctis and Ignis.

     (Don’t you try to distract me with your puns). “Y’sure about that? You don’t sound like you are.” He couldn’t help but tease as he made his way back to where they’d set camp up. Once there, he set the boy down then went to find Ignis. After explaining what happened, he was given some ointment, which he took back to the blonde. “Here, put this on where it’s sore and it should help numb it.”

     “Last I checked grunts and snoring weren’t the same thing.”

     Jumps a little, hearing her voice, clearly he was awake again. “I was not snoring.”
