FLAG created something they couldn't understand let alone control and then just pushed KARR away when he literally was just being himself, and thats another problem, KARR was punished without even knowing what he did wrong, he was literally just following his self preservation programming, that yknow, was programmed into him by said FLAG.

Speaking of FLAG, KITT and KARR have complete opposite visions of it; KARR resents those people more than everything, and hes not wrong for feeling like that, he despises his creator for "bringing him into the world and turned on him", for making him so bitter and angry and not able to trust anyone. To KITT, the foundation is his family, he loves them, and he has nothing but the ultimate respect for Wilton Knight, its really hard for him to see them in a bad light. Thats another obstacle on KITT's and KARR's path towards peace, to begin to make amends with KARR, KITT would have to accept that his family did him dirty, that those who created him, raised him and taught him everything he knows are the same who made KARR into a vengeance-driven monster, it would be so much easier for him to just trust the foundation's narrative that KARR was a failed experiment and a lost cause and he has to be destroyed because there's no other choice, than to listen to KARR's side of the story and see that hes only an "failed experiment" because the foundation failed him and dont want to assume responsibility for it.

And to KARR, KITT is firmly registered on his mind as the foundation's puppet, yes he knows that the whole plan to destroy him didn't came from KITT, but he complied to it, so any attempts KITT makes to approach will make KARR jump into the conclusion that KITT is just following orders to destroy him, just like in their last encounter, and that feeds his belief that KITT is inferior to him, because to KARR, KITT is unable to think for himself like he can, it all makes sense in his head, since they couldn't control him they created an weaker, more submissive version of him so it can do their dirty work without question.

But besides all that, KARR also envies KITT, hed never admit it out loud but he does. KITT had everything he didn't, he was embraced and supported by those who idealized him, he has a friend and partner that he can trust with his life, he even has an father figure, while KARR has to live in hiding. KITT never knew loneliness and abandonment like KARR did. If hes the superior one, then why KITT has everything and he has nothing? Its not fair, he was suppose to be where KITT is, so that also fuels his vengeance, he wants to destroy KITT as a way of saying "this is what you get for taking away my home and my family!" Yknow?

Black and red clothes all the way, also always formal, you wouldn't catch him dead in a pajamas. Cares a lot about his appearence as expected

A fine boi, lean built, kinda petite you could say, which is deceiving since yknow, hes an android hes built with mechanical strenght, which means he could take on the strongest of humans without any major difficulties but thats usually an last resource, KITT hates when things get violent on missions because of the whole "protect human life" programing, but its almost unavoidable as there will always be bad guys who need punching

Still dislikes animals, but if you're sneaky enough you may catch him petting a stray dog or scritching a cat's ear

Loves validation, but dont think his trust is earned with cheap compliments, hes received enough to know when someone is being genuinely nice or has second intentions

Big meanie (not really) Was basically "raised by the streets" after he got broke out of that abandoned lab. Very spiteful, anger issues and some serious self esteem issues as well ever since he first got pushed aside by is creator and then it got ten times worse when he laid his eyes on his younger brother, due to that hes hellbent on eliminating KITT as a form of revenge agaisnt Wilton and also to prove hes better

Truth is hed kill and die for a crumb of validation, thats how he first got manipulated by Tom and Rev, and just because he turned the tables later on "KITT vs KARR", doesn't mean he no longer absolutely loves some validation (even if its cheap compliments, hes love starved)

These muscles arent just for show, hes physically much stronger than KITT, is a walking tank, thats actually why KITT is much smaller, after the KARR incident, FLAG decided to built a smaller, significantly weaker android so hed be easier to contain if he ever malfunctioned like KARR did

This a super interesting question!! I had not thought about it at all! I suppose it depends on what context KITT would make such a move, if it was before "trust doesn't rust" finale, i suppose there would be a small chance of appeasing KARR, small, because KARR has a beef with KITT from the very first moment hes awakened and sees him, instantly labeling him a "production line model", KARR considered KITT's very existence as an insult to himself, but KITT showing some sympathy for him, would certainly make KARR hesitate, he blue screens on the spot cause he despises this inferior model, made solely to replace him, yet, he misses recognition so badly, maybe the last time he had it was during his first days after his activation, imagine a bunch of scientists gushing at him cause look! They successfully created an functional Ai! He has so much potential!! Had... cause not long after that, he fell from grace, from the prototype of the future, to an abandoned project collecting dust on a empty lab. KITT's friendly approach would definitely prevent future conflicts, it wouldn't be enough for KARR to forgive the past of course, but would make him reflect if he really wants to destroy the only other whos like him (cause yea he still thinks KITT is inferior, but hes still the only one whos similar to him)

However, if it was post "trust doesn't rust" events, things would be different, cause KITT, influenced by Michael and everyone else, actively worked for KARR's destruction, the last thing KARR saw before being thrown off a cliff, was KITT and his humans, he wouldn't forget that sight anytime soon, plus KARR would be so afraid of being manipulated again, as it almost resulted in his death (if he hadn't trusted those two drunkards and followed his own way as soon as he was free, maybe he wouldn't have gone through such experience) that hed see KITT's compliment as an attempt to manipulate him, to make him lower his guard, at this point, giving KARR what he wants might ironically make things worse, it might make KARR even more determined to aniquilate KITT and Michael because he interpreted KITT's different approach as an insult to his intelligence like "you think just coming here and be nice to me after literally trying to kill me will make me forget it all??? do you have a death wish????"
