2025 is the year that we bring back sprite comics. The great democratiser. ANYONE can make a sprite comic. You don't need to be good at art. Hell you only need to be passable at writing.
Don't use AI to make you a comic. Get your hands dirty in some fucking Megaman 7 sprite sheets like god intended. Edit them. Don't edit them. Bob and George we salute you. 8 Bit Theater we salute you. SPRITE COMIC MAKERS WE SALUTE YOU!!!

To provide the absent information, and with the caveat that there is nuance here that isn’t evident in a silly comic I posted, I personally find infinite combo play to be quite boring given that what you’re essentially doing is forcing the game to play itself.
I’ve seen this described today as “solitaire” play - where your win condition is really nothing to do with any of your opponents, and you’re playing your own game (often with very long turns) while everyone else has to just wait it out.
The “as little magic as possible” is reference to aiming to start an infinite combo as soon as possible to make your deck run itself with zero input from you, eg infinite mill with Laboratory Maniac. The ideal game with decks like that lasts only a few turns.
My personally preferred way to play is a more back-and-forth style with each turn being more meaningful and chances for underdogs to rise back up, etc. I far prefer longer games - or “playing as much magic as possible”.
In a tournament or competitive setting obviously you want an optimised deck that wins as quickly as possible, and for those settings these types of decks are perfect. But for weekly commander night at my LGS it’s not a fun thing to come up against. I could build my own but I would feel no joy playing it.
My experience of playing intermediate level Magic The Gathering is that the goal seems to be to play as little Magic The Gathering as possible
