It's not a battery thing. There are rituals that can be used to summon a god into a demigods body. But it doesn't end well for the demigod.
What's a catholic?

Demigods are usually pretty easy depending on the rules of the world you live in
Yes. The issue is finding one, or luring one to us, not taking them down. And, of course, the moral implications of what we'd be doing.

Well, it's not quite that -- the issue isn't with catching them. It's that the way we would make use of a captured demigod is ... not very pleasant. It's something that God generally frowns upon. But it's also probably our best bet to get home.

Give me ... two days, and I'll take you up on that.

I guess there is a risk of drawing hostile attention. But I’ll take that risk if you’re willing to.
if it does i feel like i’m probably capable of dealing with/avoiding that attention. so, sure. let’s give it a shot, when you want to.

Hey, I’ll try anything once.
worst case scenario it just doesn’t work.

Now that’s an idea. But I don’t know if that would actually *work* here.
heavily depends on the type of magic being used. definitely worth a shot.

Mm, only demigods can do “magic,” and most of them don’t call it that. So that’s not really an option.
not if you outsource. you’re on tumblr. your options are a lot more diverse than you think they are.

Yeah, something like that really takes an entire community working together. But there’s not that much mortals can do against voidlings or hostile demigods; that’s why we need one to take over here if we’re going to leave.
hm. or maybe a set of complex magical wards could do the trick. depending on who makes it.

That’s fair too.
Well, the primary issues are voidlings and other demigods. And raiders, famine, natural disasters, etc., but it doesn’t require a demigod to deal with those. Just makes it easier.
that certainly is a lot. might need like. a whole militia for that. not sure how much an individual person can do about famine or natural disasters. even a demigod.

Morrigan just came and bodily flopped on top of me so I think he's decided it's time for bed. Good night!

I do have a plan for if we could take an enemy demigod alive. But it's, uh, not very nice.

Oh, no, I was thinking more along the lines of “maybe he’ll get in a little practice here and learn how to relate to people.” He could use some more experience with verbal communication.
Really? That could help. What we need, essentially, is for someone else to take over protecting this town so that we can move on. Or for someone to talk to God for us, but that’s more of a long-term goal.
i guess that’s fair. i’m not contributing though. ah, so you don’t necessarily need a demigod, you just need someone strong enough and willing to take on guard duty. unfortunately my idea probably has more personally important things to do on a regular basis.. but i’ll still get back to you if i think of anyone.

I mean, it’s mildly better than letting him offend people in person. Fewer knives involved.
Not unless you know any non-asshole demigods looking for a job, I’m afraid.
i guess that’s true but is talking to people here preventing him from talking to people in real life? ..hmm. let me get back to you on that. i might know a couple people.
