New project :)

I keep seeing all these cool, vintage looks for colder months, so as it's going to be cooling down in Australia, I want a matching scarf, gloves, and legwarmers. I'm going to create the scarf and gloves out a combination of of granny squares and regular stitches. The leg warmers will be made of ribbed hdc. I'm using patons sierra 8 ply in red spirit, and I will be using a 4mm hook.

I’m going to start with the leg warmers as I’m waiting for my granny square blocking board to arrive in the mail.

I have finished the top I’m going to wear to the Green Day concert!! It was my first time freehanding something and it honestly drove me a little crazy but I love it, it’s a perfect fit and very cute but also really comfy. I love her sm.

I’ve done the first sleeve and I’ve started the second. The photo was taken a couple of minutes ago, and since then I’ve done a bit more. The sleeves are 45 rows long and I’ve currently done 9 of the second sleeve. Afterwards I’m going to add something more netting to the back to give it more structure.

I finished the third ball of yarn, I need 11 more rows until the body is done. My concert is at the start of March so I’m going to spend the next few days crocheting non stop :)

I haven’t updated in a while because I’ve been super busy moving into my mum’s house full time after going between houses for fourteen years. I’ve finally finished the second ball of yarn and I’m guessing I’ll need one more for the body before moving onto the sleeves :)

I finished my first ball of yarn, I bought six but I don’t think that I’ll need all of them :)

If anyone has any suggestions for some cosy podcasts or audiobooks to listen to while crocheting, please tell me, I’m looking for something new :)

Skirt before and after :)

I dyed this skirt that I got as I thought it would go better in my wardrobe if the white parts were brown. Here’s the before and after!

I used Rit dyemore in the colour chocolate brown :)

New project :)

I’m going to see green day in March, and I wanting to make part of my outfit for it. I’m freehanding a top which is going to be essentially a tube top with mesh sleeves. I’m using moss stitch for the top and then the sleeves are going to be double crochet. I’m using 4 seasons Flinders cotton yarn in the colour bark.

Finished project update!

Today I finally finished my seatbelt covers — I’ve been super busy over Christmas and new years so I wasn’t able to finish them before the new year like I wanted but that’s okay :) I haven’t put them on my car’s seatbelts yet but when I do I’ll post a pic <3

I’ve crocheted the borders on every granny square, and I’ve weaved all the ends in (kill me 💀), so I’m now going to block them before joining them :)
