I haven’t updated in a while because I’ve been super busy moving into my mum’s house full time after going between houses for fourteen years. I’ve finally finished the second ball of yarn and I’m guessing I’ll need one more for the body before moving onto the sleeves :)

I finished my first ball of yarn, I bought six but I don’t think that I’ll need all of them :)

If anyone has any suggestions for some cosy podcasts or audiobooks to listen to while crocheting, please tell me, I’m looking for something new :)

Skirt before and after :)

I dyed this skirt that I got as I thought it would go better in my wardrobe if the white parts were brown. Here’s the before and after!

I used Rit dyemore in the colour chocolate brown :)

New project :)

I’m going to see green day in March, and I wanting to make part of my outfit for it. I’m freehanding a top which is going to be essentially a tube top with mesh sleeves. I’m using moss stitch for the top and then the sleeves are going to be double crochet. I’m using 4 seasons Flinders cotton yarn in the colour bark.

Finished project update!

Today I finally finished my seatbelt covers — I’ve been super busy over Christmas and new years so I wasn’t able to finish them before the new year like I wanted but that’s okay :) I haven’t put them on my car’s seatbelts yet but when I do I’ll post a pic <3

I’ve crocheted the borders on every granny square, and I’ve weaved all the ends in (kill me 💀), so I’m now going to block them before joining them :)

I asked for this because I bought the knitting one for my fibre arts bestie, it’s a collection of 35 genuine vintage crochet patterns from women’s magazines!!! Aghhh I love it

Finished project update!!

The scarf I made is now blocked, so I can give it to my friend for her birthday. Before blocking the tension right at the beginning was far tighter than the rest but it has now stretched comfortably. The scarf still naturally falls folded over but that is because of the wideness of the scarf :)

I’m very happy with it <3

New project:

While my scarf is blocking, I’m making ten granny squares which I will then make into seatbelt covers for my car. I’m using the Patons Sierra 8 ply (one of my favourite yarns) in the colour way alpine view <3

I finished the six colour blocks of the scarf today, making it double the length it was in my last update. This means that all I have left to do is a single crochet border around the edges, and then blocking the project!

This is my second day working on my scarf. I did sixty rows, and then measured it. At the time it was about 27in, or 68.5cm. I’m going to do another sixty rows and see how it looks after that.

Since measuring I’ve done ten more rows <3

New project:

I’m making a granny stitch scarf for my friend using yarn she gave me for my birthday. I’m using DK premium acrylic yarn by Porta craft in the colours Caramilk, Salmon, and Pink Petal. The scarf is 30 stitches wide, and my plan is to have each block of colour be twenty rows <3
