Honestly, I had no words to describe it. It was the opposite of what I expected. It begins with Peter tricking Wendy in staying in Neverland and Wendy quickly finds a way back home. However, it does not end there. Peter keeps on telling her his purpose is to find the Truest Believer and take his heart as his own. Wendy tries to convince him that his real purpose is to leave Neverland alone and stay in London with her. And there is a constant struggle between these two decisions until Peter revealed that he never changed his mind to begin with.

This story...is dark to say the least. I do love the pairing of Peter and Wendy but in the Once Upon A Time I had mixed feelings about it. Here, the author decided to change the whole story in how they met and what really happened. And I do believe it is so much better compared to the original. You can see the immaturity Peter has despite being a few hundred years old and especially in the way he denies having feeling Wendy. While it is acknowledged in the sequels about the possessiveness and some of the toxicity Peter has towards his loved ones, I am glad in this story Wendy does not let it slide. She actually puts her foot down and tells him how it is. There is a lot of death mentioned in the story so please be warned.

Based on the title, you already know this story is rated M for mature audiences. This story takes place years after the events of the Teen Titans show and the main characters are all over the age of 18. Maybe because my love for the supernatural never fade away since I first got into Twilight fanfiction. But this story is the definition of smut. It involves so much detail that even I started blushing by reading it. Raven and Beast Boy are playing hot and cold on their relationship and the tension is rising. They have to deal with Beast Boy's inner beast who claimed Raven as his future mate. However, Raven scared to deal with anything intimate tries her best to get away from the situation, which honestly takes her closer to it than she thinks.

I am a big fan of RxBB, but the only complaint I have for this story is that Raven seems to really like the attention but keep on pushing Beast Boy last second. Well, this does annoy me but giving her history I do understand why she is scared to feel any affection towards him besides friendship and companionship. Overall, great story. Ten out of ten stars.

Absolutely loved this fanfic! A great alternative world of the iconic Mickey Mouse gang in a steampunk setting. It is a wonderful mix comedy, action, adventure and, of course, romance. Minne, who is young private, is known to be sucker for rules yet will not hesitate to break them for justice. She is sadly in an arranged marriage with Mortimer Mouse and hopes she can prove to her Captain Amelia (From Treasure Planet) that she is more than capable of doing her job. She encounters Mickey during his usual heists and those two formed a lovely bond. But he tricks her and escaped. However not without promising to take her away. Minne furious of what happened vowed to bring him back in jail and there is what begins the love-hate relationship. The usual couples such as Daisy and Donald, Horace and Clarabell, stay true to their stories with the exception of Millie for Goofy. There is also a mystery slowly unfolding in the background which just adds more excitement to the story. Beautifully written, and my summary to it does not hold justice for this fanfiction.

I am a sucker for alternative universe stories of my favorite characters, especially if it involves the supernatural. Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup grow up far away from their hometown because the Professor was trying to ran away from a terrible secret. Well, that is not the correct term. More of a discovery, and a gut feeling telling him he needs to leave as soon as possible. However, the family received news that a loved one got murdered and they have to come back. Once they arrived, many horror stories of beasts killing the townsfolk to the point they made rules such as, "Do not stay outside as soon as the sun goes down", or "Stay away from the woods". The girls had more questions than answers especially after meeting their old childhood friends, the Jojo Brothers.

This story is for a more mature audience and can be a bit graphic. There is a hint of rape, murder, gore, cussing, and explicit content. Overall, an excellent read and personally, one of my new favorites. It is so well-thought of and contains hints of mythology and folklore.

ASTRA'S BEST ADVICE: a long post (summary at the bottom)

THE BEST ADVICE I CAN OFFER:

Stop learning and start applying. I cannot tell you how many months I spent scrolling through LOA websites and blogs, searching for that magical bit of advice that would everything suddenly click into place. Spoiler: you won't find it outside of yourself. There is no catch-all tidbit that will make everything fall into place for you. You have to persist. You have to affirm. You have to simplify the process for yourself. Find that magic inside of yourself. Have fun little conversations with your subconscious, identify your fears, and confront them head-on. It'll make you feel way better, and your manifestations will come way quicker. So start applying! Get off of tumblr and google and wherever the hell else and get out there! If you spend forever in the learning phase, you won't get to the doing (or teaching!) phase. You have to take what you know and apply it. You've studied for the test all you can, and now you're going to rock it! Take the test, pass with flying colors, and live your dream life. That's all up to you, babes.

Also! Simplify the hell out of whatever you're trying to do. For me, manifesting an SP was my Everest. I would affirm and persist and think about him from the perspective of already having what I want, but there would be no movement in the 3d. I was frustrated and angry and I couldn't possibly understand what I was doing wrong. Then, one day I decided to manifest something small: a turtle. As I was driving to school, I told myself that today, I would see a turtle somewhere. I didn't care if it was real or fake, a photo or a video, hell I probably would've taken a turtle sticker as my desire. I went through my first few classes and kinda forgot about it. I affirmed whenever I thought about it, but that was all. Right after first period, I went to meet with my advisory, and there was a turtle on the screen. The teacher in the class beforehand had been playing music for his class, and there was a turtle in the music video. When I tell you I stopped in my tracks and got full body chills, I mean it. The next day I manifested a red balloon. And then a purple jacket. I was on a roll, man. But every time I would try to manifest my SP, there would be absolutely no movement. I was overcomplicating the helllllll out of it. It took me forever to realize it, but manifesting an SP is the same as manifesting that turtle. I needed to stop treating this like it was the biggest thing ever. There aren't levels of hardness when it comes to manifesting. Manifesting a pebble is the same as manifesting an SP or your desired face. The only thing that changes during the process is how you feel about them. So I stopped being frustrated. I stopped playing the victim. I stopped being in a state of lack. I affirmed for my SP just as I had done the turtle. And guess what? Your girl's taken. And he's everything I ever could've dreamed of. Maybe even a little better.

As for shifting! You have to realize that you are in control. Stop hoping to shift, or acting like some divine intervention has to swoop in to let you shift. You are in control. You decide when and where you shift. It's as simple as that. I, at one point, was in a circle of try to shift - wake up in your CR - get upset. It was awful, and completely unnecessary. You have to realize that all the power is in your hands.

If you're where I was and you're kind of stuck in a "I don't think I can do this" mindset, and the idea of completely reversing that sound really daunting, you don't have to do that. Simply think of your favorite shifter, or just any person who has successfully shifted. Now I want you to adopt the mindset that "If they can do it, so can I." There is nothing about your mind that is different from that shifter. Whatever they can do, you can do it just as well. You have to realize that shifting is a different journey to the same end goal - but the end goal is the same. Everyone just has different ways of getting there. You can do it because other people have done it. Don't be envious or jealous of them, use it as fuel. If they can do it, so can I.

Lastly, don't restart every day. Let me explain: one day you decide you want to manifest your desired appearance, so you affirm and you visualize and you do whatever method (if any) that makes you happy. You wake up the next morning, see no change, and decide that today you're going to "start over." Please. For the love of God. Don't do that. If you wake up with a new attitude every day, you will run in circles. If you see something you don't like in the 3d, no you didn't. Affirm, and most importantly, persist. Know what you want is already yours. Don't let go of that first decision to manifest. Keep that fire going. Let it burn until you're living the life you deserve.

TOO LONG, DIDN'T READ: A SUMMARY

✮ Stop learning and start applying. get off of tumblr and go manifest. There is no one magical bit of information on the internet that will make everything click into place. You've got to find that magic in yourself. You've studied hard for the test babe, so go ace it.

✮ Simplify the hell out of whatever you're trying to manifest. Manifesting a pebble is the same as manifesting an SP or your desired face. The only thing that changes is how you feel. So why make things harder on yourself?

✮ Know that you are in control. Always. You are the one who decides when you shift. No divine figure has to do anything for you. You hold the power. Rest easy in that knowledge and decide. Shifting is as simple as blinking an eye and being somewhere else. But only if you believe it is.

✮ Adopt a "If they can do it, so can I" mindset. Don't waste your time trying to fabricate an entirely new mindset that you only half-believe in. Instead, think about your favorite shifter. Think about how easy shifting is for them. Now remind yourself: "If they can do it, so can I." And live that.

✮ Don't restart your progress every day. Persist. Don't wake up every morning and decide to "restart." If you see what you don't like in the 3d, affirm against what you see. Be delusional (trust me, it's fun). And, most importantly, persist! Don't be a manifesting goddess one day and the victim the next. Live that power. Live it until you see it.

CONCLUSION

Alright my little stars, that's it! This is the best advice I can offer you. Little baby shifter/manifestor me could've really used this information. General requests are easier than super specific ones lol so you don’t need to apologize for that! I have been meaning to do a PRPR rec list for a while now (and, not directed at you, anon, but yes, PRPR stands exclusively for post-reveal pre-relationship) so thanks for giving me the push to finally do it! Multi-chapter. This fic is just so real and messy and beautiful. The mutual pining is absolutely perfect! The backstory and how that impacts their current dynamic is so well woven through and adds another layer to their relationship. But also, I love the lack of perfection, that these are real people with real flaws and the way that all plays out. I absolutely love this fic!

One-shot. It’s seriously unfair that someone who draws so beautifully should be able to write equally so. And yet. This is just so beautiful and SOFT and lovely. And then THAT KISS!!!!!

Multi-chapter. I absolutely love the early reveal in this fic. I’ve read a lot of reveals, but this one is really fun and original! And then the premise of the fic itself isn’t one I’ve seen anywhere else, which makes it very different from the usual PRPR fare. Because even though they both know...they can’t actually talk about it. And it’s so interesting and different and sweet?

One-shot. @emsylcatac‘s fics never go the way that I expect them to, and I really love that about her writing. Although this starts off really silly, the way Adrien expresses himself at the end wasn’t something I saw coming at all, even though it’s SO TRUE to his character. The pining and miscommunication is wonderful, but it’s the ending that really sells me on this one.

It has been exactly 17 days, 2 hours and 13 minutes since Adrien realized his very good friend and his best friend were, in fact, one and the same.

Consecutively, it has been exactly 17 days, 2 hours and 12 minutes since he constantly fought the insurmountable desire to kiss the said friend.

One-shot. The yearning in this fic is absolutely e x q u i s i t e . I love it when Adrien stops flirting post-reveal and Marinette takes it the wrong way. And they’re just SO STUPID here, and then they get to be adorable in love dorks.

They knew, and there would be no magical reset button for the memories they'd made today. She'd have to see him at school every day, and she'd see the Chat in him, as surely as he'd see the Ladybug in her.

One-shot but a lengthy one-shot. How about some post-Oblivio fic that has the magical ladybugs NOT erase their memories of the fight (because lbr that made no sense anyway)? Oblivio is probably my favourite episode and this is such a great fic. The mutual pining is so, so, so good! Especially love Marinette struggling to assimilate Adrien’s identities and Adrien’s obliviousness.

Adrien just wants to know who Marinette has been in love with this entire time, but she refuses to budge. Accidentally reading a part of her diary, however, gives Adrien the answers he has been looking for.

One-shot. So you may not know this about me, but I’m absolute sucker for the trope of Adrien fixating on the boy Marinette loves post-reveal. (And tbf for him fixating on the boy Ladybug loves pre-reveal.) I love how well done the miscommunication is here, where their failure to confess makes sense and all of the tension naturally follows.

One-shot. This one is all about the yearning. And then Adrien’s beautiful honesty that pushes Marinette to finally do something. They’re both so in character and I love them so much!

There’s something about the way he says it. The way his lips move. The way his eyes glaze at her. The way he looks at her as if she hung the moon and stars. The way there’s a warm glow when he's drawing close to touch. Even in this snowstorm, he was a ray of sunshine, and she was a sunburn.

One-shot. This one is really interesting because of both its device--a game of Truth or Drink--and its use of non-linear storytelling. Even though the fic is set post-reveal, we get all kinds of flashbacks to memories of their pre-reveal interactions that really illuminate the present and are extremely well woven into the narrative. I also really appreciated how honest Adrien was about his feelings, even with their relationship being so ambiguous.

The following fics are amazing and absolutely worth reading, but do feature sexual content, so minors beware.

Understandably enough, Marinette has a complete meltdown.

One-shot. Rated E for sexual content. This is one of my favourite fics and I’ve read it a good half a dozen times at least. The pining is absolutely phenomenal and Adrien is so, so oblivious. And the tension between them just builds and builds and builds until I thought I was going to die! But instead it all leads to a phenomenal resolution.

YESSS my time has come :D

Over half his life by mysterious_intentions continues to reign supreme. It's currently the most kudosed sxf / DamiAnya fic and for good reason! It's a classic, so cute and fluffy, and you can easily imagine for it to be canon in the future! A great starting point!

I am soooo trash for Your Ex Lover Is Not Quite Dead by TheLoonWatches. It's a personal favourite of mine, and when I finished it I was just devastated. It’s a bad ending fic in every way possible and it hurts so good. That fic is also a great inspiration to my future angst fics and I love love LOVE it so much. The prose is simply beautiful and heartbreaking. It also happens to be the first fic listed in the archive so!! What a classic!

i dropped your hand while dancing, left you out there standing by not_your_darling is CRIMINALLY underrated. I had to go through several pages (sorted by kudos) to find it and it honestly deserves so much more attention. It’s a Taylor Swift champagne problems fic (which imo is a song that fits them really well), future angst fic, Anya can’t marry Damian because of various reasons, you get the drill. Another one of my inspirations. This one along with Your Ex Lover Is Not Quite Dead changed my brain chemistry lol. The rest of the fics in the series, purely artificial, are also a good read. 

You can’t keep a secret forever by Kadhi is also AMAZING. I think it’s one of the best ways to tie up aged up and married DamiAnya, and it was just really satisfying and joyful to read it. Anya tells Damian the truth about her powers and he does his best to surprise her. Genuinely a perfect ending for those two and it’s sooo sweet. It’s one of the first fics I read on tumblr and I’m so glad to find it again on ao3! :D

Now, I might leave a lot out and some of these I haven’t read due to school, but I highly recommend checking these out and supporting the authors. Also these are a mixture of oneshots and whole fics. Upcycling sweaters

Sometimes you're stuck with a sweater you just don't wear any more. Maybe it shrunk or became felted in the wash, or maybe you outgrew it. When this happens, there's a variety of ways you could upcycle your sweater into something new.

Knitting:

Do you like knitting? One way to recycle your sweater is to unravel it into a skein of yarn. This way, you can reknit your sweater into a garment you actually wear. This process takes a lot of patience, but if you particularly like the material your sweater's made from, it's well worth it.

Refashioning:

If your sweater has become too small, you could try to upsize it by adding in extra pieces of fabric. You could knit your own, use scrap fabric, or sacrifice a second sweater to cut out panels or gores from.

Sweaters that are too big are pretty easy to downsize, too. If your sweater's made of a natural fibre, you could try shrinking it in the wash. Otherwise you'll have to tailor it. Add in darts with the ladder stitch, or resize the sides by using a fitted sweater as a template.

Your sweater doesn't have to stay a sweater! If the shoulders bother you, then remove the sleeves and turn it into a sweater vest. Chest too tight? Cut open the front and turn it into a cardigan. Top not fitting right? Cut off the bottom and make yourself a skirt or a pencil skirt.

Reusing:

There are many ways to upcycle a sweater. In the end, your sweater is just fabric/yarn in a sweater-shape. You can reuse it however you want. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Basket

Blanket

Socks

Leg warmers

Infinity scarf

Gift bags

Tote bag

Slouchy boots

Sweater rug

Pet bed

Conclusion:

There's no need to throw away a sweater if you don't wear it any more or if it doesn't fit you any longer. You can always resize, alter, or upcycle it into something new.

If you don't feel in a crafty mood, please consider giving your sweater to a friend or family member, freecycling your sweater, or donating your sweater to a charity rather than throwing it away.
