There’s a polite knock on Dottore’s office door, before it is opened in the most horror creature manner by a robotic hand. In her glove covered hands is a tray of gelatin replicas of used gel electrophoresis gel. Painstakingly made to look like samples has traveled through the gel. She even remembered the detail of the sample ladder.

We may not be able to eat the polyacrimide, unless you’re Theta, but I hope these suffice.

She sets the tray down on Dottore’s desk.

“…impressive, Natalia. Thank you for making these.”

He got up from his seat to pat her head [careful to not mess up her hair], grabbed a gel replica, and sat back down to try it out. They looked quite realistic, and probably had the same texture as the real one as well. Dottore tried a bit, with Natalia eagerly watching.

“They taste good too. Good job.”
