As someone who's ace but hangs out with too many people that do like to fuck (like my classmates scare me sometimes with how fucking much they want to🥲) I do believe it would be a 'all is free in war' type of situation.

Like, forget friendships and whatnot, these people weren't able to fulfill a primary urge for years, whoever says yes goes!

(Which is why I think Jax and Pomni would fuck but without feelings, Ragatha and Jax too, but with too many weird feeling, and I surprisingly don't think Gangle and Zooble would, not immediately at least, and I think Zooble would be down to do it with anyone else but Jax)

I kinda want Caine to actually listen to Zooble abt the whole sex thing... cause like... lowkey wanna know who would fuck who....

To the Gorgon!Annabeth fic, how exactly does she get into camp? Theoretically she’d count as a monster same as Tyson would, so did she have to get let in? Is she a girl down the road in New Jersey? (I have no proper concept or scale of North East US geography). Does she know Grover, what about Luke and Thalia?

How exactly does she wind up on their first quest to the underworld?

Oh, my gods, I'm so sorry for only answering now! I've been neglecting Tumblr way too much!

But here's your answers!

Basically what happens with her arriving at camp is the same that happened with Tyson, where Athena, still pretty much guilty over what her and Minerva did, just grants her passage into camp, she's still a demigod after all.

She meets Grover when her, Percy and him go on their first quest, Grover is scared shitless of her at first, like the moment she does as much as slightly adjust her veil or does any sudden movements he thinks she's gonna kill him, however they slowly bond during their first quest and by the end of it they're besties; he still won't go to her house though, cause there's way too many monsters gatherings there for his likings.

She does meet Luke when she arrives at Camp, but their relationship is a lot more surface level, she's just one more kid he helps out when she first arrives at camp; he's still a sort of older brother figure but more in the way he was to Percy in canon.

However she never properly meets Thalia until she comes back from being a tree and so they're never close or anything.

How she ends up on the first quest is actually pretty similar to canon, she is just very eager to go on it cause she wants to prove that she's capable and strong and smart, in this version she actually wants it a little less just because she does have a mom that makes her feel cherished and loved, but for how much she hates it she is a daughter of Athena and her fatal flaw is hubris.

Percy notices all these things and decides that she's perfect to go on this quest.

Since my long fic is coming to an end (crazy to think about) I started brainstorming for a The amazing digital circus fic to take a break from more complex projects and I swear, I thought up a scene idea that I find so interesting but that I can't fit anywhere so here it is if anyone cares:

So, after episode 5 I definitely think that Jax starts teasing Ragatha a whole lot about the new information he has on her, you know, her being a farm girl and whatnot, it's mainly harmless teasing and Ragatha can usually take it, but then he gets a bit too far.

Jax is definitely not the type to know when somethings you shouldn't even attempt to tease a person with, and for Ragatha is about her mother; I definitely think she's aware of having been abused cause she seemed aware she was being guilt tripped and whatnot in the episode and I fear it's definitely a sore subject for her.

So the scene I thought up is that maybe the whole gang is talking about movies, they enjoyed what happened at the bar so now they do just casually gather together to chat, and so now they're talking about their favorite movies back when they were in the real world, and Jax, with his shit eating smirk is like:

"Ragatha you must very much like The Black swan? Don't you?"

She obviously gets incredibly upset, but is trying to hide it

"No...not a big horror fan...you know..."

Jax is a bit taken aback that the teasing didn't really work and that now the others are just kinda saying they never saw that movie but damn if Natalie Portman was hot in the posters for it.

So he decides to play another card and he's like

"oh, sure! But you definitely like the Piano Teacher then!"

And that's when Ragatha really stops working, like she immediately goes silent and obviously no one notices at first, they're all busy trying to understand what the actual fuck these movies have to do with anything and then Ragatha genuinely starts crying.

(BTW I can see both Jax and Ragatha having seen both of this movie, Jax got told The piano teacher was Taxi driver but for women and he only really heard Taxi driver, and he probably thought the Black swan was a horror movie cause that's what the trailers conveyed. Ragatha probably saw the black swan cause I can see her liking Natalie Portman and she just caught the Piano Teacher on tv and it has traumatized her ever since then.)

I don't know, just an idea I can probably try and fit somewhere, we'll see!
