endless theories about the truth of our existence plague my mind.

each has the same conclusion - we, as human beings, are meaningless. our existence means nothing.

yet we believe ourselves to be of the upmost importance and who am i to say we're not ?

yes, it is a fact that life is short, the universe will not cease to exist in your or my absence,

by the time the earth is swallowed whole by the sun, our present lives will not be mourned or cherished

but merely forgotten like those before us

and maybe it's selfish to wish to be remembered and mourned, to hope that no one ever recovers from my loss - as if i meant something, when in truth i didn't.

my presence now doesn't mean anything in the "grand scheme" of things.

we are inconsequential.

they're all the same.

time does not exist in my mind

anymore.
