Out in the rolling hills where there is no signal,

All my usual worries now seem so little,

Trees in the breeze make my heart feel peaceful,

Away from the roads, the cities and people,

Though the fields are foggy my mind is clear,

No where and when, only now and here,

As I can feel my anxieties disappear,

I know this is a place of joy and cheer,

I hope I can take a piece of this feeling home,

So I take some pictures and write this poem on my phone,

For me to look at and read next time I feel alone,

To remind me of the beauty of the planet we roam,

Little can compare to the song of birds and bees,

Or the elegant beauty of flowers by streams,

This is a place only usually seen in dreams,

I just wish it was sunny and a few more degrees,

Oh trees I thank you for the air I breathe,

Oh algae I thank you too,

Oh bees I thank you for the trees,

Oh flowers I thank you too,

Oh sea I thank you for the breeze,

And all the fishies too,

Oh see how wonderful this world can be,

Made just for me and you,

I thank the moon and stars at night,

And the sun for all it's light,

This planet is a rare and beautiful place,

Floating in the vast vacuum of space,

The earth is such an amazing sight,

So it's preservation is worth the fight,

It's time to wake up the human race,

Before we are gone without a trace.

The world is a mirror reflecting your mind,

So look for yourself if you're searching for signs,

Don't look for too long because you might find,

A piece of the puzzle will get left behind,

And if you're missing a link then your mind is a mess,

If you're down and depressed, then your life will be stress,

So let go of the past and take time to rest,

You don't want to wake up with a hole in your chest,

Happiness cannot be found it comes from inside,

If you run from yourself then there's nowhere to hide,

So let go of your anger, your jealousy and pride,

But always remember all the reasons you've cried,

You need to move on there's no time for regret,

But your pain taught you lessons so still never forget,

All those times you took gambles and lost what you bet,

Because you still haven't found what you're looking for yet,
