Fun Fact about Reed

She teached a set of Three New Light Guardians when she picked them up from Shaw Han.

It was an all Exo Team with Bardiel-13 (Titan), Hadamiel-11 (Warlock), and Verchiel-5; they all started referring to her as Mom at one point while she took them out to strikes and patrols. Though she genuinely questions their slang choices like “Let Him Cook” or “Babygirl”

Piece of Reed Lore

Reed uses the Hand Canon Thorn, as her Primary weapon

Which is Ironic as it’s a Hive Weapon but Reed has had severe trauma involving the Hive ever since the Red War.

Thorn has basically wormed its way into Reed as an acting a weird melting pot of the souls she collected with Thorn, sometimes she hears voices in her head from the gun

The Basic History of Reed

- Was once a Void Warlock following under Ikora as a Student

- Red War Veteran: Was apart of the Team that went to kick Gaul’s ass

There was one Race that Reed despised over all others after the Red War, and it was the Hive after some severely traumatizing events occurred on Titan that involved barely surviving guardians getting mauled to death w/o their ghosts to revive them.

Forsaken: utterly traumatized and so lost afterwards; Witnessing Cayde die was awful, and holds a very mixed bag of feelings towards Crow knowing who he is

Acquired Thorn in the prison, something spoke to her and she took this weapon and thats when it started collecting souls. She never really talked about it with anyone 

Shadowkeep; Even more traumatized, especially by the visions that haunt her past

Beyond Light; The Darkness was comforting, but Stasis didn’t feel exactly right

Stasis Warlock during this period of time

She knew she was going to be shunned by others and she was. Mostly being used in tangent with the Vanguard for certain missions that the Vanguard didn’t want to send normal Lightbearers 

Witch Queen: Cathartic killing the Hive in the Throne World, will occasionally go back to fuck shit up.

Lightfall: When getting to Neomuna, it felt like she was home- the Strand Power when it flowed through her felt so familiar. The Void Antithesis; So different but it felt like home to her. Taking down the old emperor of the Cabal was so sweet to her; She felt like a real Guardian again, a Dark Guardian that would make her home on Neptune.

She now gets calls from the Vanguard from the Tower about when she has to check in with Ikora about the long laundry list of Missions and Patrols she has to do

The Souls of Thorn

In Reed’s Thorn, exists the souls of those who have been killed by their gun. Hive is what fills the majority, with the second being the fallen though Reed is more apologetic towards the Eliksni than she ever will be with the hive. This is just to be the counter for how many souls Thorn holds in it Soul Count: [N/A]
