One Piece TOTAL AU! Skydeira Arc Preview!

“Stop!” Leroy Yelled! 

As if on Cue. The Two Stopped. Noir with his torso leaned back, and leg cocked. Kále, sword half drawn, leaning forward. 

“Just w-wait…” The Captain Struggled to Speak as He looked around to see that the Entire Crew was in position to attack at any moment. Giving them a nod as well to ease them. 

“We, mean no harm” Leroy said as he Raised his hands. Palms open. “We may be pirates. But right now, we are merely here for Adventure. Simple Exploration…” 

“And how can we trust you?” The Winged man with Kále spoke. 

“Hush.” Spoke the first. Hands in a constant back and forth swirl. The Movement seemed to keep the Mist flowing. 

“Yeah. Hush.” Kále mocked, giving a smirk as he too stayed in position. 

The Man that held Leroy against the Railing stopped flowing his hands, causing the mist to dissipate into the air. “Hah- Alright.”

Leroy fell to his knees, his energy re-emerging as he grabbed at his chest to breathe. The First man Offered a Hand to the Captain, a soft smile on his face as he lifted him up. “You’ve got a strong grip. You could’ve gotten out of that at any point couldn’t you?” 

“No- Well- Normally yeah but whatever you got in there” He says gesturing to the shell on his belt “Sapped the Strength Right out of me.” He Truthfully Admitted 

“Hm, so you are a Cursed Fortunate?”  

“Cursed Fortunate?” He Cocked an Eyebrow. 

“You ate a Fruit, one that was different from the Rest? Bestowed with great power at the Cost of a Curse? Weak to the White Sea?” 

“Oh! A Devil Fruit? That's what we Called them.”

“Oh. Well. Fascinating…And Just what is your Name?” 

“I’m Falcon D. Leroy! And I’m the man whose going to become King of The Pirates!” He said, extending his hand with a wide smile.

“King of a Wild Bunch…We don’t often see Pirates here in Skyderia”

Ravens brow perked at the supposed name of this place. “In any case, I am Aponiv. The Chief Protector of Skyderia.” Chief Protector? No wonder he was the first to assault the palm. 

“That there is Carlos” He Gestured to the one Near Noir. Who was Slightly Heftier than Those on the Ship. Then Aponiv Gestured to the One near Kále. “And that’s Atoni.” 

“Atoni, Huh?” Kále smirks. “Here I thought you’d have a worse name…” 

“And I thought a man who used three swords would be able to use at least one.” Atoni Retorted 

“Alright you Atoni cut it out…” Spoke the Chief 

“So this Land is Known as Skyderia?” Raven said, sandals clacking against the deck as she walked up to Aponiv. Now that He was standing still, all three of their wings were in clear view. Revealing that they weren’t just stark white as what was first seen, but rather were adorned and accessorized with a variety of ornaments, from the ridges of the top of his wings being lined in rings that were silver in color. The Back of his Wings have designs on each of the feathers, or even colored in others spots. 

Leroy Silently admired the look of the wings now that the Tall man was Turned around speaking to raven. “Yes, Skyderia is the name of the Main Land where my People Reside. I guess you could say those that are of the feather live there.” 

“So all of your People have wings? Are they fully functional?” Raven asked eyeing them up and down. “You’re Quite inquisitive. Yes, Fully Functional. And help in accomplishing Tai Chi.” 

“I’m sure you could drop the formalities Aponiv” Carlos Said folding his arms over the Long Leather Tunic he wore. Instead of the Codpiece that the Chief had, the tunic Carlos wore ended just above the knee. His Wings Folding in close and forming a shell across his back. The Chain that ran across the surface of his Wings clinging together as they moved

“Ever consider that I enjoy speaking properly?” Aponiv Retorted. 

“With how long I’ve known you” Atoni interjected “Prolly not.” 

“Precisely.”

Aponiv, the Skyderian Warrior Chief of Sky Island. His wings are decorated with dazzling symbols, and dyes. With his waist leathers being dyed and accessorized with many lines and designs. Probably one of my favorite pieces ive everdone even if its now two years+ old.

One Piece: Dawn Of A New Era is a Total AU Fanfic I've been working on for the past two years! I love one piece, and wanted to take a stab at writing a story set in a similar world with similar lore, but doing reinterpretations and reimaginings of the world! Its Darker, More Mature, and has got a LOT of Words. But I also love writing it :3 I think its my magnum opus right now. 650k words, and I think...600 Chapters? I'm so happy with how its turned out. And theres still so much I have to write and draw about!
